Large pepperoni plus delivered downtown was $ 28. Very good sauce plenty of cheese and toppings the crust was a little burnt to my taste but still very good pizza.

Meh. Got one delivered when vacationing in Eureka. Tastes good, but nothing exceptional.
Pros: they deliver. they are open fairly late. the delivery guy was super nice. the sauce is super good.
Cons: overpriced. skimpy on the toppings. delivery charge.
Paid $ 24 for a medium pizza. You expect there to be fairly generous amount of toppings for that price. Or at least extra high quality meat.
With the exception of the sauce, which is quite good, not much different than a Pizza Hut pizza. Save money and get it from Pizza Hut.

I really had high hopes for the lunch buffet… but all the food was questionable health quality !!
I was in just b4 noon and only 3 slices left (they never replaced) — I waited 30 minutes, only 2 other customers and everything cold, old and realllly low quality! Not worth it — head to Angelos if you want a pizza buffet !!!

I chose to eat during the lunch buffet; I read a free SF Chronicle too. My time here has been pleasant and appetizing. With the options this buffet offers my beer almost got ignored… but not quite. I like the simplicity of the service, also I was encouraged to be pleased by the forward thinking waste management. With help just a short distance from my table I felt all my needs were cared for properly, and the pace happens just right (sports on all the tvs). I hope to return for more than just the buffet line, dinner sounds great. I didn’t have quarters but I did marvel at the games, experts!

Absolutely amazing pizza!!! And Pizza is my spirit animal. We went with a half combination, half pepperoni+mushroom+black olive. The flavor was amazing. The pepperoni had a nice mild spice. The crust was thick and balanced. Not a flappy NY style pie. This pizza has a real weight to it and made with love. Perfect for a chilly night in Eureka!

Note: folks in Eureka give Little Caesars 4 stars whereas amazing places like this take neg hits from guests at Red Lion (read the comments). Maybe they don’t know what a 5 star pizza tastes like? #smugpizzalover

Went in for the buffet lunch very little selection of cold pizza and the salad was super wilted… Others offer a lower price and higher quality and comes with a drink. It’s not big Louie’s anymore keep on driving past.

Ok I don’t even like anchovies but another longtime customer sold me on trying a slice of Marcellis anchovies and it was crazy good. Theses little fish have such a powerful flavor, salty and the way they are cooked is yummy on top of the pizza. A must try. Especially if you like salty crunchy flavorful bits lol.

Pizza was delicious! Got a half combination half margarita pizza. Free wifi. We had went to another pizza place at 8:55 who told us they were closed and this place was the only restaurant open besides Applebee’s. The service was fast and the food tasted good. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back next time in eureka.

We visited Eureka and stayed at the Red Lion Hotel. I looked up pizza places and found this one. We ordered a jumbo Margharita pizza. The pizza was delivered hot and was very quick and friendly delivery. Unfortunately the pizza had no flavor! Tasted like cardboard. Very cheaply made. A frozen pizza would have been better. We were very disappointed. We will never order pizza from this business again if ever in Eureka :(

Not open until 11. Called at 9:55PM on a Friday and they had already closed. Don’t understand why the stoner capital of the country doesn’t have any late-​night delivery options… Sad.

Excellent pizza. Extremely friendly staff. Fast delivery. Some of the best pizza I’ve had a in a long time. Will definitely be ordering more and recommend this place for delicious real pizza!

We were not not impressed. The sauce tasted like it was canned from a grocery store. Our pizza came out of the oven and sat there for nearly ten minutes while the server was gabbing with some other patrons who seemed to be friends. Meanwhile we waited and waited until someone came out of the back and started cutting the several pizzas that had backed up. It wasn’t extremely busy or anything. We also felt the price was not nearly worth what we got. We ordered a large pizza which seemed like a medium, two single trips to the salad bar and three waters and spent $ 38. Overall I would not recommend.

this was the best pizza I have had in years! And For me, it means a lot when I walk into a restaurant’ and all the employees look like they really like being there, and love their jobs. Good food, and good people. I love this place. I will be back.

Great pizza! I’ve lived and traveled all across the USA and I still firmly believe this is overall the BEST pizza! The sauce is great! The toppings are quality and fresh! The crust is also great 95% of the time (sometimes it kind of «flops» … I’ve eaten here A LOT!
It’s the same pizza as Big Louie’s Pizzeria FYI with only a couple menu changes. (I think there is Margarita pizza now)
People working there are friendly and personable!
Oh, they also have take and bake.

Grab a menu, take a look, place your order at the window and hang out and watch TV or play arcade games while your pizza cooks. The food was good and the menu has lots of interesting signature pies to choose from, or you can build your own.

Marcelli’s is fairly new, having recently taken over the old Big Louie’s Pizza place at 1604 4th St in Eureka. I always liked Big Louie’s and I now like Marcelli’s as well. I actually like the pizza better than the old place. Angelo Marcelli and his daughter were both in the place yesterday (10÷9÷2014) — that’s a good sign that they want this place to succeed. There were a few old timers in there for lunch and I hope more people start checking them out. FYI, after Big Louie’s closed, we started going to the pizza chain joint in Henderson center, but their pizza is nothing special (although the salad bar was good). I really recommend that all the old Big Louie’s customers give Marcelli’s a try — you will be pleased.
