Very cool spot to grab your home brew needs! Knowledgeable and friendly staff. For a beginner walking in may be intimidating – warehouse style. The focus is on home brewing alone, no need to impress.

First, to address an older review or two, their original space was tiny but packed with homebrew stuff. Their new space, newly expanded to boot, is probably a good six times larger than that original space. HUGE variety of grains, hops, yeasts, all kinds of equipment from kegs and carbuoys to kettles and conicals! Very friendly, very knowledgeable owners. I’ve called in during brew-day emergencies for advice on several occasions! I’ve lived in a few areas and gone to the LHBS at each, and never had a place as large, diverse, and helpful. For anything you need for homebrewing, there’s just no better place.

Old review from opening day: Tiny store. Absolutely packed with home brewers on opening day. Looks like they are still getting products in and getting used to how to serve customers. Their grain rack is very cool and they have a good selection of grains. Nice collection of yeasts in the refrigerator. It doesn’t look like they will ever have room in this storefront for big items like conical fermenters and larger brewing equipment, but they should be able to serve the homebrew community with the everyday needs of grain, hops, yeast, flavorings, books, and some tubing/equipment. I wish them well– it looks like they know their stuff and will serve a need here. New Review October 2013: Much larger space now. Great customer service. Lots of large equipment as well as a huge selection of malts, grains, hops, yeasts and adjuncts. They are aware of internet prices and remain competitive. As good as a home-brew shop can get.

I can’t believe how helpful these guys are to the new brewer. They make themselves totally available for questions at all hours. They are so patient. A great business.
