Life music the night we were in Eureka. Classy!

A cool little wine bar and retail wine shop in old town, located on F street at 2^nd. Offering flight services in both Reds and Whites, in a relaxed, casual and comfortable setting with lots of great local art on the walls.
The afternoon of our visit it was quiet and service very accommodating and friendly, and the young man waiting on us seemed to be fairly knowledgeable about the selections being served. We are both red wine drinkers so my wife decided to try the Malbec flights and I settled on the flight of Zins… Both flights were very good.
As well as the various flights offered, they also offer service by the glass and by the bottle, there is a current menu of the offers available, with an intensive selection of high quality wines from around the globe not on the list but available for purchase .
This little wine bar also has local love music on Friday evenings and seems to draw a pretty consistent crowd. A good place to stop in for a glass of wine and maybe a light plate. Worth the effort to stop and recommended for both the novice and connoisseur.

I love this place. Great atmosphere, great service, great conversations and great wine.

We stopped in the Wine Spot after meaning to go here for months. We are no wine connoisseurs by any means, but the server helped us choose the right wine for us. No flights were available, but we enjoyed the perfectly chosen glass. They have local wines and well as wines from around the world. Nice décor and they often have live music and bites to eat. They weren’t «snooty» about the wines either! Just a laid back, nice experience!

My boyfriend and I visited Eureka for a night and the wine spot made it an amazing experience! The place is very cozy and the staff beyond warm, friendly and helpful. We had two flights of wine (3 tastings each). One with Pinot noir, petite Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon and the other one customized so we could have a good recommendation of Zinfandel. The wines were delicious and the price very affordable (20 $ total)! We also really enjoyed getting to know Michael and listen to his live music at the wine spot! Absolutely recommend this place.

Good wine and nice staff. $ 8 for a glass of wine is a bit steep but I knew it would be. Nice atmosphere.

This place is pretty awesome! Had a few glasses of some great Zinfandels. I thought the forst was too sweet so the really attentive nice male server was kind enough to let me taste until I found exactly what I liked! We ordered a cheese plate and between 2 of us put down 5 glasses for $ 55 before tip. Which is not ad at all! I am leaving off one star because of the choice in music and the tacky t shirts plus we weren’t asked if we wanted to join in on the raffle… I guess you have to buy a bottle of wine to get in… as if dropping $ 70 wasn’t sufficient? They need a little quiet jam band not a rock cd… otherwise keep up the good work. Ill be back next year!

Awesome wine, cheap priced, good atmosphere and you can dress casual and not feel underdressed.

Wonderful staff, Great Vibe! There is a plethora of different beverages to choose from aside of wine. It is receiving such a high rating because it’s very aesthetically pleasing, but the «bartender» herself is very knowledgeable but not in a stuffy, /​pretentious way. You can come in day to day attire and not feel under-​dressed or out of place. My sister enjoyed it and so did my fiancé. Would return again!

Really enjoyed ourselves here!!! The bartender always had recommendations which we were grateful for. We got there about 8:30 pm and stayed til close. This is an awesome place to go if you want to have a nice quiet, low key evening with a date. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be back, hopefully soon!

I visit from LA every year & I must say that The Wine Spot is a Great place. I went for wine tasting to find some local wines to share for a Feb wine tasting get together, then went back the next day for the Sunday brunch. I was surprised at how good the food was & the mimosa’s were great. Hilary helped me both times. She was super friendly & knowledgeable. Bottom line, worth going to, then go shopping in Old Town.

This is a fun place to go for tasting good wine in a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. All of the wines I tasted were well chosen and top rate. Kat, the owner, was great fun; she buys all the wines with her «committee.» I loved the tasting glass Kat chose with Wine Spot on them and the very cool wine aerator-​pourer she uses to pour all the wines from. The wine-​themed lady’s shirts on sale here are very classy as well. Another nice touch were the hors d’oeuvres that are served with the tasting. Next time I’m in town I will attend the Sunday brunch; all the food is prepared in a close by restaurant kitchen. It is also nice to taste wine and interact with others: the u-​shaped tasting tables allows this to happen. I am a hard to please wine-​lover and just loved this place! Congratulations to Kat and her family for their successful business.

Great place to catch a glass of wine! Woman working the wine bar was super friendly. The only drawback — price. Flight was 12 bucks, but in my mind, would have been happier with ten or less, and probably would’ve stayed for another and our customary Port. Would still return and refer others…

We spent Friday evening sipping Almond Champagne with crackers and salmon spread… It was wonderful! Great atmosphere inside and out, located in Old Town Eureka, service was excellent and prices reasonable. We look forward to enjoying what sounds like a great Sunday brunch experience with exciting varieties of Mimosa’s.

We went back for Easter Brunch and it was great. I had an Irish Mimosa. and I also had a Kats’ meow Mimosa. tasty and sparkly. We enjoyed the people and the food. A great place to go. We will miss it!

VERY friendly people! We like going here best on Thursdays for pot luck night (if you can bring something to share though!) This place is not at all uppity, it’s very relaxed and the people working are welcoming. I don’t think they have a vast knowledge of wine, but neither do I. The flights are three different wines and usually around 6 or 7 dollars. Most wines here are a pretty reasonable price anywhere from 12.00 to 30.00. The best wine I tried here was the Twin Islands, which is an imported sauvignon blanc– nice peppery flavor.
It can be a bit cold and drafty in here, I wish they had double doors and also sometimes the staff leaves the door open during the day– it’s hard to relax when you’re freezing cold. But otherwise a great place I really like how friendly everyone is here. I recommend it!

I love this place! The Wine Spot is a friendly wine bar that specializes in high quality, inexpensive wines. The owners and staff are friendly and attentive. Nice art gallery with a great, monthly show. The clientele are always pleasant; nice place to meet people.

Very fun wine bar. We had the local red wine flight and it was wonderful. For the great low price you get a very good amount of each of the wines in the flight. I can’t wait to go back again.

This is a very cool place to hang out and have a glass of wine. The people are very friendly and easy going. Every time I go, I enjoy hanging out with both employees and patrons. Large selection of wines. They also have local artists display their work, and at times local musicians. It has a nice, pleasant atmosphere.
