Terrible customer service. I think the shoe repair worker (maybe owner?) doesn’t know what he’s doing. He did an unsightly job when he stitched the seam of an athletic shoe. And he had the nerve to charge me and yell at me when I expressed displeasure. I will NEVER use that establishment again. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

I took in a simple top to be hemmed, and the sewing was sloppy — they used bright yellow thread on a dark brown garment, and the new hem fell apart within three weeks after wearing it only a couple times. Definitely would not recommend.

Same thing happened to me. I have been using SparkleCleaners for 5 years because it was convenient to my work. Always has been mediocre at best, no blocking of suits with tissue, shirts on hangers always with creases, smashed buttons on cuffs from pressing (told me they were going charge to replace but then only did not a couple of occasions which is crazy since they smashed them, but they were convenient.) about 6 weeks ago they lost a pair of Guess dress pants. Said they would look for them, went back for 3 weeks and the owner was never there. After 4 weeks, I said if they had not found them by now they would not be found and wanted them paid for. Numerous people working there and never the owner. Always told you that «You have to take it up with the owner». Left my number and asked that the next time he was in to call me and I would come right down. No call (Suprising!) I had the credit card statement from when they were purchased. (Bought them at a Guess outlet so they were not expensive $ 54. Bought less than a year ago.) Finally, after 6 weeks, I got so frustrated that I told the worker to get the owner on the phone. This had gone on long enough. The owner had the nerve to raise his voice with me and said I was trying to cheat him. (He lost the pants and I had the credit card statement.) He said he would only give me $ 30. Are you kidding me? for $ 24 more dollars he MAY have saved a customer. Finally settled on $ 35 and a $ 10 credit at the cleaners. He will have that credit for the rest of his life because I will NEVER go back there EVER! I have a business on the street and am very well respected. I am telling everyone that will listen what has happened and to not to go there. This guy should not be in business with this kind of customer service. We will have to see how long this guy lasts with this type of service. Almost the same thing happening to two different people within a month!

I have been a happy customer for 10 years. Then in Nove, bet they lost the slacks to a custom suit. I followed up weekly with no luck in finding the slacks. I asked to speak to management with no response. I finally hand delivered a letter asking for reimbursement. That was a week ago, with no response yet received.

Nice to have a business like this in the neighborhood. The owners are friendly, and the pricing is great, especially on their tailoring.
