Long lines, spotty service, often don’t do the normal Starbucks promos(they don’t do refills here, even for gold card members). If it wasn’t so darn convenient, I would never give Norbucks my business, but alas, it’s a much better option than Dunkin downstairs.

The infamous Norbucks… isn’t all as bad as it’s made out to be, in my opinion at least. I usually drop by if I’m in the area during my lunch break, meaning the lines aren’t nearly as long as they are in the early mornings. Baristas aren’t the friendliest, but they aren’t rude either. If you’re really seeking a pick-me-up in between classes, Norbucks will suffice. In any case, it’s a Starbucks — your expectations can’t be too high anyway.

If you have any time at all, literally twenty minutes on your hands, or you’re on your way in, or you’re on your way out, do not go to this Starbucks. Take a five minute walk to the Starbucks in Evanston. If you absolutely need the caffeine right away, be prepared for basically flavorless drinks — like my chai tea lattes, which are pretty consistently just warm milk.

One star for serving me a half empty drink and for no treat receipt. Oh and very snotty service! No thank you.
