Our favorite pizza for sure. Love the ambiance of all the locations. Cheesey bread is our go to app.

Best thin crust pizza ever. Good craft beer selection. Fast, attentive service, and a classic atmosphere in the bar.

The pizza is excellent and for the ingredient portions, well worth the price. The locations all look clean and well laid out. I will order take out usually at the Weinbach location mainly because just about every time I have been in to eat I have had a server who is absolutely chomping on gum or eating behind the bar. I also wonder why the management doesn’t correct the bartenders unsanitary habit of scooping the ice out of the cooler with the glass they are serving beverages in.

Great pizza. Great beer. Cracker thin crust and really cold beer. Bite size mozzarella bread pretty awesome as well. Worth the $$$.

Food is awesome, but they seriously need to improve carry-out order accuracy. Last two orders have been wrong. Make sure you check your order before you leave the lot. Makes me not want to return considering I also had to wait an extra 20 minutes.

First time at this location in probably 30 years, and not even sure if it was turonis yet at that time. I have just ordered, and the first thing i got was water and the waitress went right up to the bar and grabbed a glass(plastic) and jammed it down into the ice bin. Isnt that like super unsanitary? Other than that, this place is super cute and clean as far as i can tell. The waitress is saying to another customer that the newburgh and main st locations have switched to a brick oven style oven and this location still uses a pizza pan. She is saying the locations have many different things and she doesnt know why they are different. I love the food at the main street location so in about 30 min i will rate this locations pizza. … So, i like the crust here better than main st. But the top has less flavor. I still like the pizza alot. Id definetly come here again.

I have 2 daughters who attend Univ of Evansville and play sports for them… we are often forced to go to Turoni’s b/c by the time we get to see them. not much else is open. The pizza is adequate but everything else is just not very tasty. The service has always been good… just lacking on the food. They really need to come up with a good salad… even a quality Cesar would be helpful… and a coupld of good sandwiches… a grilled Chicken breast, pulled pork or french dip. If you have time there are alot of better options in Evansville. I hope they upgrade their menu

Not even sure if this place is open an longer — this review was started in 2012, I am just trying to catch up on my reviews from out of state — I had the 9“turonis house special pizza… Cracker type crust, fresh toppings, nice servers but if you are from anywhere near the North East you might want to pass

Best pizza in Evansville! Always good service, but always very busy. Also Turoni’s has some very great beers that are made at the Main St location. My favorites include the iron man and greek pizzas served with the Honey Blonde ale or the Thunderbolt Red.

We picked the food up via the drive through, a plus a I guess. Didnt really like the pizza, thin crust, but low quality cheese. A bit disappointed. But check it out if you want, rest of my crowd enjoyed theirs…

Definitely one of the best pizzas in the country, assuming you’re a fan of thin crust. Turoni’s, albeit in the small town of Evansville, are actually very innovative in terms of the art of creating a specialty pizza, and micro brews. Turoni’s, long before it was the cool thing to do, starting brewing their own beer. And, is it ever some damn good beer! The atmosphere is dark, which I actually like. The service is generally decent, or better. Supposedly, Turoni’s pays their employees a higher hourly wage. If true, this is pure genius on their part, as it keeps their employees faithful, and they spend less time rehiring, and instead, focusing on the business. Great pizza(traditional & specialty), great sandwiches(must try the Stromboli), but the prices are ridiculously high, in my opinion, for a small town restaurant. But, even with the insane prices, I do still return every time that I’m back in Evansville.

BEST pizza and beer within a 50 mile radius! And not only that, the atmosphere of this place is not only hoppin’ but reminds you of one of the good olé pizza parlors with the dark wood and feel of the place. I love everything about this restaurant! We’ve been here a couple of times but this last time we were really able to experience it. The service was excellent and we were seated almost immediately, much to our surprise, since the place was packed(and always is). Note: it’s usually the larger parties waiting, so don’t let the lines fool you… if it’s just 2 or 3 of you, make sure you check before driving away. We ended up ordering cheesy breadsticks, which I abstained from but the 12 year old son gobbled down faster than I could return from a bathroom visit, as well as a ½ meatball and ½ house thin crust pizza. HOLYMOLY I was in pizza heaven! Both were good but the meatball was exceptional and it was such a wonderful surprise to get anything but cardboard for pizza crust for once!!! PERFECTION!!! Our server was great with my bi-polar beer choices… ended up bringing me several samples before I chose. The beer is always good especially since they brew it themselves… I’m SO sick of the normal Busch/Bud Light options! Microbrew heaven here. The topper for us was the magician that came around… yea, these guys can be over-the-top annoying sometimes, but he put a huge smile on my son’s face and put us all in awe! Great addition. Know before you go: Two entrances. One is the family side and one is the over 21 bar/restaurant side. Both croweded.

Best pizza in town. There is no pizza like a pie from Turoni’s! I like that they stick to what they know and have a limited menu. If in Evansville, you must stop at Turoni’s. Food: 5⁄5 Service: 3⁄5 Location: 4⁄5

Overpriced and burnt! Jerry Turner has forgotten what made this business successful when he started. This was so bad we might as well had pizza at Chuckie Cheese’s or CiCi’s(at half the price).

THEBESTPIZZAONPLANETEARTH. Pizza is always quality when eating in at Turoni’s. Highly recommend the Pepper Planet pizza. Beer is always ice cold and served in a frosted mug/pitcher. Definitely one of the better pizza places I have been to and will consistently visit.

Whenever I’m in Evansville, I always make it a point to hit Turoni’s. It’s a real gem of a joint in a city that is pretty devoid of good, locally-owned restaurants. The menu is limited to a vast array of pizzas and a few sandwiches, which is a good thing. They have obviously focused their efforts in creating a great pizza. As an added bonus, everything is very inexpensive. The building itself is also pretty cool. It’s very dark and woody inside and there’s a decent sized patio facing Weinbach that isn’t too bad.

While Turoni’s may not be my favourite place to eat in Evansville or even my favourite pizza place, I still enjoy the occasional visit. I do enjoy their beers… in fact, not a fan of the dark ales, but the Ol’ 23 Stout is really good. If you like coffee, this has a hint of that, but not heavy like others. The garlic cheese toast is nice to start with. The Stromboli is ok, although it can get really messy and the bread tends to get pretty soggy. Pizza is what Turoni’s is known for, but I’m not really a fan of the thin crust and wish that they would offer a thick crust option. The Greek pizza is my favourite by far. The nice thing about Turoni’s is if you are doing a group meal, they have the giant 29″ pizza. I haven’t been overwhelmed by their customer service. I did try their pick up service once and that was ok, although the lane for the cars is slightly awkward, although so is the parking lot anyway. If you don’t call ahead, beware that you may end up waiting for quite some time on a busy night. There is seating in the bar area, but you have to be 21 and over in order to sit there. Overall, not a bad place to stop into.

One of my top 5 places to eat. I look forward to every trip. The pizza is great and the beer, in my humble opinion, is top shelf. I also love the ambiance of the eclectic posters and all of the woodwork. Drinking here just feels right. I just finished a Buffalo Chicken pizza with an ice cold Honey Blonde. Fantastic. The Buffalo Chicken doesn’t pull any punches. Unless you just like the punishment, keep some Ranch and a few beers handy. Make sure to bring a friend or two, trips here go better with some buddies and a pitcher. My only complaint is that there is no way to fit this much beer into a single trip.

Every year at a minimum we make a trek from North Carolina to Kansas to visit my family. Most often over Christmas but also sometimes in the summer. We discovered this place(and its sister location) because my kids are picky as heck and ‘pizza’ is an easy win. Not wanting to do the usual chain place as most are delivery only these days we looked up pizza in the phone book and found this place. Since about 2006 we now make this part of the tradition of the drive to Kansas. I’m a big fan of pizza done right or done uniquely, and Turoni’s has a unique style. They have an extremely thin crust. Some would say ‘cracker’ except it’s not dried out like a cracker. It’s crisp and thin, but the center retains a bit of chewiness that I like a lot. They have several specialty pizzas and we tend to go with the ‘all meat’ one for my wife and I while the kids do their traditional half cheese/half pepperoni. We’ve been to both locations now, usually we went to the other one but I got turned around and found this one first so we tried it. This one has more room/parking than the other location but the food was just as good.

Great pizza restaurant! I really like the setting; atmosphere here; they have the large tables and wood banquets that make them great for a family or friends outing. Great beer selections by the glass, bottle of pitcher… Pizzas are thin crust and very tasty; they have different sizes that can fulfill anyone appetite but the best part of all this are the prices; so cheap that you may want to come here every night!!!
