Baja Fresh

My crew from work decided to try this establishment as it was something new for us. We usually order large orders and give a lot of business and we all critique each place with scrutiny to avoid future fails. Baja Fresh did not meet our expectations. The food was cold (even though it was sealed in containers), the receipt was very unorganized and difficult to understand when splitting the bill, the chips were stale, the side orders for the burritos was served in large containers instead of smaller individual containers for each item (they claimed it was «easier» that way… easier for who? You guys?), ingredients were skimped, and they sure as hell did not get a tip. Not recommended.

4 stars for fast Mexican Food. This is not a gourmet Mexican restaurant, so if you are looking for that, don’t go here.
Baja Fresh is a family favorite, and we drive all the way from Bothell to eat at the Everett store. My usual is the Baja Steak Burrito, and I almost always get that. It is excellent. The restaurant has a fantastic variety of salsa’s, and all are good and each offer a distinctive flavor. My ki8ds like the cheese quesadilla, and they have a good selection of soft drinks.
They seem to have stopped serving their Tortilla soup, which was excellent. I did not see it on the menu the last time we went.
If you ask them for fried peppers, they will make them fresh for you with onions, and they are complimentary. They are fantastic!
This place beats Q’doba and Chipotle hands down. If you like fresh Baja Mexican food, give this place a try. My only regret is that there are now only two in the Seattle area that I know of.

Delicious shrimp salad and great service every time! Servers and cashiers are always very kind and attentive!

One star. Because they don’t follow the Baja fresh guidelines, apparently. CANNED (I call them pickled) Jalapeños at the salsa bar… when I asked the moron behind the counter, they said «what… they’re fresh!»
Fresh. Fresh from a effing JAR? I’ll give this place another shot, and if they actually have fresh «everything» I’ll revise my review. Otherwise I’ll leave it at 1 star as well as complain to Baja fresh corporate.

No can openers, no freezers, no lard, no msg, no microwaves!!! Their food is the FRESHEST by far, and I feel NO FASTFOOD GUILT! everything seasoned well! and you cannot ask for a kinder and friendlier family of people who create the food and serve you!!! excellent!

It was very difficult to place our order because the person taking it kept trying to sell us so many «extras.» When we said no, we were asked more than once if we were sure. It was pretty frustrating because we just wanted to order some food.
There were three of us, but one one of us was given the chips and salsa even though they typically come with each order. We just let it go because we didn’t want any more sales pitches. The food was good, but nothing special.
Finally, two days later I called to see if I’d left my credit card there. The person that answered spoke such little English that I couldn’t communicate to her what I needed. If you don’t speak English, why are you answering the phone? It’s not like this is authentic Mexican cuisine, it’s Baja and there are plenty of other people that work there that could have taken the call. If not, let it ring! I live 45 miles away so it isn’t like I could just pop in to check.
Overall I was really unimpressed, which was disappointing because I’ve visited other locations that I’ve been really impressed with. I think this franchise gives the whole brand a bad name.

We come here a lot and the food is great. The customer service is outstanding, always greeted and feel welcome.

Just went there for a late afternoon lunch… Good lord. So I will say the food was pretty decent, but the customer service was not only horrible but sincerely maddening. The shmarmy guy at the till was rude and smug. I mean really, you shlep burritos for a living. You don’t get to be smug. He cut me off every time i was trying to say something, i had to tell him 4 times i wanted it to go, and on the forth time i was trying to explain I wanted a fucking bag for my shit he looked and me like i was from mars. He turned around and said a bunch of things in spanish to the guy at the grill and they both laughed hardily. When my order was up he threw it on the counter and said «special for you sweetheart.» Which was just the cherry on top. I was surprised i didn’t find semen in my burrito. Seriously though, guy, if you are reading this-​i don’t know what you’re doing in life, but don’t mess with a fat chick and a pregnant lady when it comes to their burritos. UHG.

I didn’t come here much before I worked at Sports Authority (which is right next to it) but every time I would come in, the staff was always so friendly and welcoming.
Now that I work at Sports Authority, I come here during my lunch break quiet often.
I order the kids meal sometimes to save money and they give me a little extra every time!
I ordered kids meal with taquitos and they gave two extra taquitos. Nicest thing ever!
I came back a few weeks later and ordered the kids meal with burrito and they gave me a free drink!
This place is truly wonderful and right when you walk in you just feel so welcome. I love it. The lady at the register that greets me saying, «Hello Señorita!» Hahah I love it! Maybe it’s those nice Mexicans with kind hearts working back there, I don’t know, but I love it.
Would definitely keep coming back!

Baja Fresh produces delicious fresh-​Mex food at reasonable prices. The fish and steak tacos, quesadillas, and nachos are wonderful and always freshly prepared. The salsa bar is awesome with the warm chips served. The shrimp burrito is fantastic as is the guacamole. The staff at the Everett Mall location is responsive and friendly. They keep us coming back for more! Top-​notch munchables!

Loved Baja Fresh when it was in Redmond. Placed an order for pickup over the phone and it was ready in 10 minutes when we got there.
Sweet salsas (mango or pineapple) are great along with Salsa Verde. The other salsas were meh though.

I go here at least 3 times a week for lunch, one of the employees, Brenda, knows me on a first name basis. She bought me a beverage to go with my lunch once, and whenever she is working, I get my food pretty fast. However, I got my lunch there about 2 days ago, and the employee that was working kept yawning, and criticized my order because I asked for no beans or jalapeños. I’ve never had any complaints about the food though, and they have never messed up any of my orders.

We used Baja Fresh to cater our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. We ordered one order of the chicken fajitas and one order of the steak fajitas! Everything was amazing and there was plenty of food for 22 people! Thank you for the great experience.

I absolutely love this place! I have been a customer for quite a while and my new favorite dish is the Shrimp Lime Salad. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Price is very reasonable and the best part is their free salsa bar.

I’m a fan. Wish it was closer to my house but when I’m up in Everett I stop by. Great tasting and healthy option food. Staff is nice and friendly and I can grab my Starbucks to next door :) Pretty easy to get to and quick. I recommend the steak and chicken tacos.

Had the baja bowl with chicken today. Very good flavors with lots of chicken and in general a great size. I had more than enough for dinner too.
I like their salsa bar. Its smaller than other salsa bars I’ve seen… I believe there was 6 or so salsas plus lime wedges and cilantro.
The place seems clean but I didn’t use their restroom so I can’t speak to the cleanliness of it.
They have outdoor seating for nice days. No umbrellas for shade — FYI
The food was fairly quick and staff was nice. The cashier and I had a bit of a hard time understanding each other as her accent was thick but she got my order correct the first time.
It certainly doesn’t feel like you’re eating nasty fast food. I appreciated the healthier option when I’m looking for a quick meal. Will be back

Had the three Ono tacos, rice and beans which were pretty good. The service was quick, free chips and choice of different salsas to chose from. If you get a water comes to a pretty cheap meal. The salsa seem a little blander than I remember. Overall a pretty sure bet.

Not as good as Taco Time, not as bad as Taco Bell.
Very tasty chips and guac and I love their mango chipotle chicken salad!

We were excited to find a Baja Fresh here! We used to go often when we lived in Las Vegas. My favorite part is their salsa bar. So many yummy salsa’s to try! The food is fast, and yummy. I see many complaining about the price, but I think it might be slightly higher than going to McD’s. BUT WAY BETTER FOR YOU AND TASTIER!
The staff here were very friendly and the place was clean. We will be back for sure! So happy to have a Baja Fresh near by!

If you’re in a hurry for something different for lunch it’s not a bad place to stop by. Not the best value. Paying $ 10 for a burrito and drink just seems like a ripoff to me.
They give you a paper tray with literally 5 or 6 chips to take on the salsa bar. The burrito just didn’t have much substance to it. Needed some beans, sour cream and additional cheese to give it some kick. The food doesn’t have any flavor unless you dowse it with plenty of hot sauce.
