Denny’s

Today we went in with our child after his hockey game for breakfast. While the hostess was trying to seat us one of the waitress is yelling at her to seat us in the other section as some regulars want to sit in her section. That was no problem. I understand that. So we got put in the other section. Sat down, figured out our order, took my son to the restroom, came back and colored a whole page in a coloring book and still no one has come to our table. Then the people behind us get seated. A waitress goes over immediately and takes their drink order. OK that was enough. We got up and walked out. Told them how displeased we were that we had to wait so long to even be greeted. But you know after reading all these Unilocal reviews I am glad we didn’t stay. It would have probably been hours before we even got our food. Don’t waste your time or money.

WHATEVER U DO, DO NOT EAT HERE! We waited 45 minutes for food that was cold. Then they over charged us by $ 10. I asked too speak to the manager and she refused to come out of the back. I ended up having too pay the bill.
I then called and wrote Denny’s headquarters. They took my complaint and said they would have the management and or owner call me as soon as possible. I have never heard from anybody. I have left messages at the restaurant and again attempted to contact Denny’s headquarters. Again I was told someone would call me. It has been a month and I have never heard once from the owner or any management from this particular store. So in my opinion this Denny’s stole $ 10 from me.
Finally do not go to this Denny’s as you could be literally robbed your cash and time and then forced to pay the bill.

Everything about it was terrible last night. Including the worst service I have ever had somewhere. The food sucked, we didn’t even finish, and some of us didn’t even start our food because it didn’t come out till the last second when we were trying to leave

I went here with my family and was very disappointed. We were waiting for about 20 — 30 minutes to be seated and there was no one in front of us at all. There were about 3 server that were seemingly busy constantly saying they would be right with us.
We finally got seated and I stopped the lady as she was trying to run away quickly and asked if she was our server because we knew what we wanted (we were looking at menus before being seated). She said that the area belonged to someone else and ran off.
After waiting approximately another 20 minutes a guy looking like the manager came over and asked what we want to drink, we told him we were already to order for some time and without apologizing said he was only doing drinks. About 10 minutes later the server finally showed up and at this point we actually finished talking about leaving and going to I HOP down the street. We did go to the I HOP. It was way better there!

35 minutes to get a burger. When it came the first thing I noticed was the fries — colder than the ketchup. The burger was not burnt, just overcooked until extremely dry. Tried to flatten the whole concoction a bit to get a bite without dislocating my jaw, and the very crispy, dry bun disintegrated in my hands. Waitress was friendly, though. One other thing, when someone orders water to drink, please don’t serve iced tap water… It only took 3 bites, 2 fries, and 1 sip of water to send me looking for a Mickey D’s.

This place transforms into a homeless shelter around 1:00am. The front door is blocked by homeless people just congregating there. The staff don’t seem to be bothered. The homeless order coffee and just sit in the dining room, talking to themselves with their cup of coffee. Their worldly belongings are parked at the cashier stand. You have to squeeze around all that crap to walk into the dining area. As you sit in the dining room, the homeless are frequently coming and going into the bathrooms… the employees could care less. While you try to eat your meal, the homeless are looking at you through the window.
As for the food, it sucked. After paying and walking out to my car, the homeless are dumpster diving in the Denny’s dumpster. This is the worst Denny’s I can say I’ve ever been to.

Gross. We sat waitingfor a table for a Long time while many tables sat clean“somewhat clean“and unused. The silverware was dirty. My straw wrapper was wet and nasty soaked from top to bottom with some pink stuff on it. We got one soda out of 5 drinks to share for a while then arrives our coffee with no cream… and still no water while we see two other tables still waiting for their food. I guess it’s about what you would expect from dennys. But its nice to be surprised once and a while with these franchise breakfast places. I will say however my server was doing her best and kept her section from going down in flames despite a incompetent staff and manager «the blue shirt guy».

Fail.
It’s a misnomer to call them chicken tenders when they are mostly bouncy tendon.
Four veggie burgers and chicken strips. 55 min. Seriously. At some point this isn’t a business or even a job. Apparently it’s a pastime. You can’t claim to «serve» customers when it takes just under an hour between taking an order and then fulfilling the order.
Fail.

It’s a really great place, and the staff was really friendly. The only problem i had was the burger. It’s like they charred the meat and put it on a bun. Otherwise, really awesome place.

I love going to a restaurant and actually hearing the waitstaff talking about all their customers! We were referred to as «mjerk asses who sat in the bar» and the waitress covering the bar replies «i font give a s*$! About them!» «Ill take their order when i can and theyll get their cold food in an hour just like every other $#*! In here» we left and will never return!

Still sitting here 45 minutes later and still no food. But hey, It’s a party of 3 in a restaurant where we’re one of three tables and we DID order eggs and pancakes so I know that is a hell of an order.. Can’t wait to eat this invisible food with the spotted silverware my «could give two shits» waitress brought us.

Disgusting! I went to this Denny’s to meet a client before a meeting in Everett. Usually Denny’s can be counted on to be clean and workable in a pinch. Not my favorite joint, but usually reliable. Not this one! When I walked in the front door, there was a weird stench in the building. I wanted to go to the ladies’ room before being seated. I walked in the lady’s room, and walked right back out! It was absolutely FILTHY!!! If they keep their «public» areas this disgusting, I can imagine what the back looks like. We left immediately and drove a couple miles down the road to the — thankfully clean — IHOP.

As I sit here in the booth I wonder why me and my family came here in the first place horrible service dirty tables 10 min to get seated in a half empty restaurant then 15 min for anyone to come take our order drinks or food! If my kids weren’t so set on eating here I would have left 20 min ago will not be back to any Denny’s in the future

Wait wait wait. Expect to put some time in to eat here which is pretty normal.
They have a sign in sheet when they are busy but I didn’t sign in not knowing this was something they use in the AM when they’re busy. My wife pointed it out after someone else signed in ahead of us. I personally think its a direct reflection of their management and organizational abilities. Yes there are other ways to look at this list and how it helps the customer, just my opinion here.
Management (older guy) running register and checking in with customers but not very effective and looks reactive more than proactive not to mention not very friendly.
Older male waitress is outwardly rude especially to the elderly which really inspired me to write thus review. Only saving grace is Rosie our waitress trying to do her job undoubtedly with very little support.
Food came out hot but smaller than usual rushed portions. Wife had her over easy egg popped and Rosie said another replacement was coming out which did arrive just before she finished her meal. I have to say I thought if did show up it would be long after we were all done.(just the overall feeling I was having.)
To Dennys: please spend some time reviewing your pay structure and management this place really needs help.

Me and my sister have been there twice in the last 2 months each time we got a waiter named Sean and even though it was extremely busy both times and we could tell that he was frustrated he was always so nice professional and even made us laugh. He also tried to be as quick as possible

Waited an hour to get our food. By the time we got it, it was cold. The waitress was extremely rude and the manager didn’t seem to care.

This is my second time to this location but my first time doing a review. I went at about 6:15pm on a Wednesday night so things were gettin’ pretty busy.
I don’t think they were adequately staffed to handle the rush as it seemed to only be two ladies working the entire restaurant. Don’t get me wrong, the customer service and attitude was great — they are all very nice here. But when you are stretched thin, things get dropped. It’s all little stuff like I asked for grilled onions on my build-​your-​own-​burger and got raw red onions. Fine. I was having Coke and by the time my first refill came around (which took a really long time… like 10 or 15 minutes) it was a Diet Coke. Easy mistake when your swamped.
Anyway, in the end it’s the customer that suffers and I’m sure the server’s tips suffer, too. Maybe if there were more folks to help out during dinner hour it wouldn’t be so bad.

Horrible service. Forgot toast. No refills on our drinks. No waters that we asked for. Gave us the wrong check. Get it together !

Would be 5 stars because everything was perfect besides the fact that they dont have soup or mac n’ cheese at night :(will go again however since theyre always open and delicious

They have a bar in this location, a few do but it always seems weird to me that a Denny’s would have a bar.
I remember this place from my early college days since it was close to everyone.
Remodel is nice and the service is always really good.
