This is a perfectly nice place to get your MRI done at. The only problem with them is that they’re affiliated with EBJ Surgery Center, which is a total nightmare…(see my other review for details) This is why they only get three stars from me. The building also houses a shoe store, which is interesting, but I guess makes sense for folks with orthopedic issues. Lewis was the technician, and really couldn’t be better at his job! He’s straightforward, calm, reassuring, and smart. If I had been nervous about having an MRI in the first place, I imagine his ‘bedside manner’ would be quite comforting. He made the whole process very easy and explained things enough so that I had an idea of what was going on. Top notch! The lady in reception(whose name I didn’t catch) is also very nice, right on top of things, and did a great job. The equipment appears to be new, and basically looks like the MRI machines you see on tv– big, white, tunnelish… If you can get your MRI done here, and then have another clinic handle the results, go for it! At least this portion of Everett Bone and Joint knows WTF they’re doing.

The previous review is so wrong, as he even posted to the wrong place. This is the MRI facility, there are no doctors here. They do no surgeries here. Just a small operation with one long time employee as reception and another long time technician. They are funny and get you in and out with very minimal wait if any.

This place and its associated«surgery center» is run like a trainwreck. From admin on up. This was a big lesson for me on why we should never just blindly accept a Doctors referal. Eg; The next one on the list. EBJ hosed everything up on my visit(s) from initial visits, scheduling, consultation, presurgery visit, billing, insurance… name it. And yes, the day of my elbow surgery I was by that time nervous as hell. I calmed down a bit when I actually saw a real RN type nurse doing the bit of prep and questioning. My story is long and involved and I won’t bore you with details but if you have choices, dont make this place one of them. Yes, I’m sure the Doctors are all just fine(I guess) but EBJ operationaly is a flippin’ mess. One quick example: The day of surgery I went into the waiting room for my morning appointment. At a small room just off the waiting area, the employees were apparently celebrating somthing, a birthday or some special event. I didnt ask. They had brought in a couple of huge platters of mexican type dishes for employees to help themselves. It smelled great. Real great. It permeated the place. If you’ve ever had surgery, you know what the requirement is 24 hours before the knife. right? A water diet and thats it. To put it all in persepective, think of the staff at EBJ this way; Those commercials on TV for places like Bryman College that teach young, just out of highschool types a «career in the medical industry»??? EBJ is where they get their first job. Footnote to this review and the comment from the other poster. Yes, the address IS for the MRI center. I dont know anything about that location. Never been there. I didnt notice the address until after the post. My review is an observation at the clinic and surgery center down the street, next door to the hospital.
