Closed down! Boo. I liked it here. One star cause they are gone! They had the best fried oysters.

Came here after a Tilted Thunder roller derby bout for a late meal and drink. Service was laid back but friendly and they had some really good beer specials running. Love their blonde! The food came out quickly, possibly because it was not crowded. We started with the nachos, which I thought were just ok. They satisfied our snacky cravings without causing a rapture. The«Cubano» sandwich is absolutely scrumptious! It is a beautiful gut bomb of pulled pork, pastrami, and cheese. I don’t like their fries, so I subbed onion rings and they were pretty good. This seems like a good spot for a leisurely lunch.

Grabbed a bite to eat here prior to the Seattle Thunderbirds and Everett Silvertips game. No one at the door to greet you. We sat ourselves. Our waiter was meh. He wasn’t nice, definitely didn’t seem like he enjoyed his job, and he was kind of rude. The food was average. The nachos were served with fake nacho cheese. The batter on the fish and chips was ehhh and the fish had no taste whatsoever. I also asked for a side of balsamic vinaigrette for my salad and they gave me something that looked like bacon fat drippings that were cooled. Yeah, safe to say it was probably a better idea to eat at the arena. Save your appetite for somewhere else. You won’t be sorry.

This place used to be great, but it’s definitely gone downhill. Oh the food was still good, but the menu has been changed quite a bit; they used to have schwarma and a lamb burger, but now it’s just basic burgers and sandwiches without anything interesting anymore. They also used to serve a chocolate cheesecake that was fantastic, but that’s gone too. We went there for dinner tonight and the service was definitely subpar. I don’t know if we’ll be back, which is sad because it used to be our go-to place for dinner in downtown Everett.

Beer selection is good. The place wasn’t that clean. Service was friendly but slow. They put cheese on fish tacos which is disgusting. All the food that came to our table was subpar.

I’ve never had a bad time here. Beers are great and always please. Had the BLAST sandwich and it was delicious. Highly recommended.

Stopped here with my family, but should have gone next door. The place is clean but the food was definitely substandard for the price. The fish in particular was soggy and flavorless. Not a bad place to stop for a beer, but skip the grub.

This place has become my new Tuesday ritual. The pale ale is my favorite, and the coders are fantastic. I’m not usually a cider drinker, but the spire pear cider is amazing. The staff is always fun and happy and helpful. The food is pretty good, and comes out quick. I’ve been here many times now, and have never had a bad time.

Went here again recently and had dinner and drinks. I have to drop a star because I wasn’t impressed with the service and food. Drinks were still good, ordered the Spire Mountain Dark and Dry Cider. Also ordered this Asian Stirfry dish, that sounded good in the menu, but was way too salty and drenched in sauce. Not what I was expecting at all. Service was spotty; it was hard to track someone down to get a refill on drinks.

Craft Beer Craft Beer and Craft Beer. They make a Good Porter and a Pale Ale. Also Go For Happy Hour, and The Pretzel was tasty and a nice addition to the beer. Lots of Seating and TVs spread throughout for your viewing pleasure. Across from the Comcast Center as well.

I don’t know if this place has grown on me, or if it is better than it used to be, but I think it is the latter. I still can always find a delicious beer here, and the fries are still greasy, thin, skins-on goodness. Tartar sauce rules, too. Two things are new for me: BLT, with in-house smoked bacon, was great. It wasn’t the best BLT ever, but I’ll get it again. Also, the atmosphere seems more welcoming, lived-in, and happening than it used to. Whereas my wife and I used to go there because it was the best so-so place around, now we go there because we actually like it.

Fish Tale pub was a very cool find that originated from a «Man Deal.» We went in for the tasting and growler that was included in our deal, and ended up staying for food and more drinks! The garlic fries and sausage sampler caught our eyes. The garlic fries had a LOT of Parmesan cheese, which helped cut the bite of(mostly) raw garlic. The sausage sampler was the star — it came with rye bread, sauerkraut, spicy mustard, and 3 half sausage links. The sausage was killer! My favorite was definitely kielbasa. I asked the manager where they got their sausages, and he said they make it at their Olympia location! Cool and sad at the same time — cool because they’re made by the brewery, but sad because I can’t buy them at the store!!! The beers were tasty. There were 3 organic beers available, and beers by Leavenworth brewery, Reel ale(a division of Fish brewing), and Spire ciders, as they’re all owned by Fish brewing company. We chose a Reel ale beer to take home, and we were pleased! The bartender was awesome, and it was fun hanging out at the bar and looking at the tap handle collection and other décor. The pub is also right across the street from the Everett hockey stadium, so stop by before you catch the game!

Local brewed pear cider! Smoked salmon clam chowder and fish tacos… not just bar food but a culinary experience everyone should have once before an event at the arena! Friendly staff, good food and ready access from the venue across the street!

I really liked Fish Tale! We bought a living social deal where we got 2 pints, a growler and a growler fill for $ 12. What a bargain! They not only have their own beers, they also have several other local breweries on tap as well. Estimated they had at least 20 on tap… so a lot to chose from! My favorite one was the Mud Shark(Their own porter). We had to get some food while we were there too, of course. I asked for a special sandwich, a BLT minus the L and T… plus bacon with Swiss. So basically a grilled cheese with bacon. It was amazing!!! I loved it. I am glad they were flexible and let me build my own sandwich! Good service! Attentive bartender. In fact he was the only one there and he still gave great service! I wish Fish Tale was closer to my house, cuz I would be going in a lot!

Good service. Average food. Great Beers Great beer selection. Pretty average brew pub menu. Had the arctic cod fish and chips lunch. Fish was slightly was deep fried and only received two SMALL prices of fish. However, large serving of fire and coleslaw more than made up for lack of fish.

I’ve made two attempts here, both unsuccessful. The first time I went, probably a few months after they opened, service was mediocre while sitting at the bar and the food was less than desirable. I don’t think it helped that the odor of cigarette smoke permeated everything near the bar. But that was a while ago. Recently I went back to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The group of about 6 we were meeting had been there for 30 minutes or so before we arrived and were just finishing up their first round of beers. Start the clock. And keep watching the clock. After another 20 minutes, still no server. This is 20 minutes of us not getting to order, sitting empty handed, and the rest of the table sitting with empty glasses. A friend went to the bar to order a couple beers and ask about a server. He came back and informed us one would be right over. 10 server-free minutes later, we decided it was time to go elsewhere. This wasn’t a pre-game, busy time. The restaurant was less than ½ full. I was really hoping to like this place, as the original in Olympia is outstanding.

I’m torn. I would give them a solid four for their beer and service. They have a casual brew pub atmosphere. Heidi and Sadler P. were nice enough to let me tag along with them to Fish Tale. I had their house stout and really liked it. It was only $ 4.25 for the pint which is very reasonable for a regular price. Apparently the pints are only $ 3 during happy hour. Nice! The bacon bleu burger I had was just ok but I really enjoyed their fries that came on the side. The baked chips were also tasty. The bacon bleu burger was advertised as having all-natural meat. The burger was around $ 12 I think. The server asked how we wanted our burgers. I ordered medium well because usually medium is too rare for me for a burger. The burger was well done and pretty dry. The bleu cheese helped balance this out but it was still a little disappointing. I really liked the bacon and pickles though. They have a handful of organic food options, as well. I think we all thought the food was just alright but the beer was good. It does look like they have some good menu options like the Hama Hama oysters and chips which I would like to try next time. I’d definitely come back. Their beers were tasty!

No, no, no, no, no, no, noooooo. The worst food I’ve ever eaten. EVER. Where do I begin? The sweetie and I ventured in here with the wee tot to use the Amazon Local voucher I purchased.(2 Food items, two beers, two pint glasses and two Tshirts). Probably one of the coolest coupons I had purchased so we were excited! The décor is pretty cool, its very spacious with a great bit of seating. It was pretty empty when we arrived. The waitress got to us promptly and was VERY friendly. We ordered our pints and perused the menu. I ordered the oyster shooters as an app. The other half being the soup fanatic he is ordered the clam chowder. We ordered the Fish & Chips for the wee one as an entrée. I ordered the Lamb Burger as an entrée. The other half ordered the BLT as an entrée. And I ordered… Garlic Fries. They were all awful. The oysters tasted warm, as if they had just been rinsed in lukewarm water to cleanse them and the oysters retained most of the warm water. The clam chowder was so peppery that my other half couldn’t eat it. We both LOVE spicy foods. However this was just ridiculous. It was as if the pepper had been added to cover up the taste of something. We talked about sending it back, but once we began to taste our other food we realized it would be a waste of time as everything was terrible. My Lamb Burger… oh gosh. Where do I start. I understand that Lamb is very difficult to cook as it dries out easily. And this lamb was dry, dry, dry. What was worse was the AWFUL Feta cheese that was crumbled on top. I am a cheese lover. And the Feta was so soggy it tasted closer to cottage cheese than feta. Also, the«sun dried tomatoes»… were watery and tasted as if they had just been dumped on the top of the sandwich from a tin can. Overall it was the blandest most awful lamb burger I had ever tasted. And. the garlic fries. The fries were covered in huge chunks of raw garlic. It was unlike anything I had ever seen or experienced. There was a huge pile of raw chunks of garlic just plopped on top of the fries. I will say it one more time. huge piles of raw chunks of garlic plopped on the top of the fries… How did these fries even make it onto the menu? The other half stated his bacon was very dry and tough… Not really crispy, or moist, or anything. Just dry and tough. Like bacon flavored jerky. I love me some bacon… and after trying my dry cottage cheese covered lamb burger and the peppery clam chowder and lukewarm oyster shooters… I couldn’t bare the thought of ruining my palate with the taste of their bacon. No Fish Tale… I will NOT allow you to ruin my love for bacon. As for the wee tots fish and chips, he said he enjoyed them. However the piece of fish I tried tasted as if it had been overly deep fried in oil that definintely needed to be changed. The color of the fish was not a beautiful golden fried brown, yet a deep dark burned oil brown. Hey, but the waitress was nice and we did get two T-shirts and some beer glasses! Oh, and the beer was okay. So I can confidently give one star for the service and the beer! That was my first time ever dining out in Everett. And I made the trip specifically to try this place. Never again.
