I Love Lilly’s, This place has the best service and food. I love the atmosphere and Lilly herself is always so kind and greets you with a smile. This is the only chinese food that I will eat in everett. You will not be disappointed!

I’ve passed by this place sooo many times throughout my entire life but haven’t gone in yet. Finally did recently and the staff was nice. It didn’t have many people in which made service quick. I got simple vegetable fried rice… And it was to die for. I’ve been fantasizing about it entering my mouth ever since. Go here! Good prices.

I usually don’t do a review, especially a bad one, for any place I visited. But I feel the need to warn people what they are getting themselves into. First, we were greeted by a lady who was doing a facial during their business hours.(At almost 10 pm) Second, soda in soda machine was room temperatured because they didn’t even plug in the thing. Third, my fried rice was lukewarm when I got it. They probably just heated up whatever left over they had in the back. Lastly, and the most important one. The fried rice was one of the worst fried rice I have had in my entire life. I am a Chinese myself, and I always order fried rice when I try a new Chinese place. It says a lot about a Chinese restaurant, when they can’t even properly cook one of the most basic and signature Chinese dish. I rest my case.

Damn. Meanest service have ever experienced in my whole life. I asked if I could trade fried wonton for an egg roll for free, she said yes, but then when i was paying she added $ 1, so I said i dont want it if i have to pay more, she gave me dirty look and started raising her voice with me. She said she already cooked it?! How the hell she started my order when i just order 3s ago, and she didnt even write down the order for the kitchen yet? Liar! You know why your restaurant is so damn empty? Because you are freaking rude. Food was under average. Thank you for ruining my lunch.

Only went here because it was so late at night and they were the only Chinese place open and they served our food to us cold, there were flies everywhere, and you can taste the gallons of oil they must use on everything. Overall, I would not recommend to anyone at all… Gross.

Ordered for takeout. Sweet and sour pork was terrible. You could taste that the oil in the fryer needs to be changed. The Mongolian beef was bland, as was the hot/sour soup. The shrimp was very clean though, no ‘black lines’ lol. It was some of the most expensive Chinese food I have bought in a while. I only ate half the food on my plate due to being pretty hungry, and threw the rest out. The inside of the restaurant was a little outdated in décor, pretty dusty, with cobwebs even in the waiting/register area. Staff member that greeted us and cashiered the order was polite, but will not be back there for lunch or dinner.

Friendly service! They truly care about making the customers happy. The décor is beautiful. Love the yellow and red napkins. My favorite dishes are the crispy duck, wonton soup, Dragon and Phoenix, honey walnut prawns, moo shu pork, and sizzling lamb! They also have a fun bar to watch sports and delicious drinks! Must try!

The food is fabulous with fat and friendly service. The coconut prawns are unbeatable. The restaurant is clean and very comfortable, linen tablecloths and serviette. Pricing is very reasonable for the neighborhood.

ZERO stars! I ate their with my husband and ordered the cashew chicken. The waitress brought me my order with peanuts instead of cashews. I told her that I cannot have peanuts due to a mild allergy and asked her to bring me a fresh order of CASHEW chicken. She returned with the SAME food only they picked most of the peanuts and poured a pile of cashews on. I sent it back again this time pissed. The cook came out and asked what was wrong with it. I told him that the order was cashew chicken, explained that I cannot have peanuts, and told him just picking them off was completely unexpectable and he was comprising my health by doing so. Ended up at Lily’s after a night of bingo because everywhere else in the area for Chinese food was closed. Definitely a star + because they’re open late. We were greeted by Lillys husband who does have problem with the language barrier. Lilly is a little aggressive and can come off as rude but all in all it was a really great experience and they took very good care of us. Hot n Sour soup and the wontons were some of the best I have ever had. Really the best ever. Not a big fan of the almond chicken it was to soggy and to salty. We ordered the garlic chicken wings and the garlic chicken, they were both amazing dishes. The bathrooms and the building overall could use a little maintenance/cleaning. We all ordered drinks and they were very good even a little on the hard side. I did have a fruit fly in my ice cube but honestly it wasn’t such a big deal that I even consider dropping a star.

This is the third Chinese restaurant we’ve tried in the last little while in downtown/North Everett — and Lilly’s(as compared to the other two reviews I’ve written) is by far the best for décor and for service. I was stupid and didn’t snap photos but then again it was a birthday dinner for my brother in law so there’s my excuse. Lilly’s isn’t entirely easy to access but you can’t really miss it — across from a Starbucks as well as some mall which includes EVCC(Everett Community College). Parking is limited, but if you are dining in that shouldn’t be a problem as it seems to me the majority of their business is done as take out and pickup orders. When we went in(table of 8) we were the only ones dining inside the restaurant. Service from Lilly(yes, the namesake!) was friendly and extremely prompt — so much so that she came to take our food orders before she even gave us menus! She was chomping at the bit to take our orders once we had been given our menus, but we were still waiting for one person so we delayed as long as we could. She literally started taking our orders as the last member to arrive was opening the door to the restaurant. If found that kind of annoying as we were in no rush, but as compared to crappy service elsewhere it was somewhat humorous and appreciated. As I said, service was extremely prompt and drinks came quick followed by appies. I started with a cup of hot and sour soup, which was not included with my mu shu chicken dinner(soup is only included with combo meals). The soup was quite tangy/sour and just enough ‘hot’, and was flecked with pieces of soft tofu and bamboo shoot. For $ 1.99 per cup, it was tasty and well priced. My mu shu chicken was good, though not the best I’ve had. It was served piping hot and they use chicken breast which I really do appreciate. The mu shu chicken also was served mixed with bamboo shoots, onions, cabbage and carrots. At $ 8.99, it was a hearty meal and I enjoyed. My husband had a combo meal, starting with a cup of the(included) hot & sour soup. His combo plate came with an egg roll, General Tso’s chicken(subbed for Kung Pao chicken at no additional charge) and some pork fried rice. At $ 10.99 I was good value but he wasn’t raving about it. Where I have to knock points off is what occurred during refills of drink service. They reuse a patron’s glass for all beverages which I suppose in theory isn’t bad if you can keep track of who’s glass is whose — but the alcoholic beverages were the same at our table(2 rum & diets, 3 whisky &7up) and with similarly colored neon straws it WAS hard to tell the difference. And even though we all know each other, let’s be real, who wants to drink from someone else’s glass? Especially since two of our group are recovering from an illness that they didn’t want to pass onto others. Anyways, it wasn’t a deal breaker but definitely weird and would have appreciated fresh glasses for the multiple drinks ordered(3 per person!). Service was slow at the end of our meal, we waited several minutes(10, or more) and we were completely done with empty plates or food needing to be packed up. Keep in mind no one else in restaurant so who knows what the delay was. I think we’ll keep going to our usual Chinese food standby in Lynnwood on the 99, but this is a good alternative when convenient for our group. Oh, and they don’t play Chinese music which makes for a very quiet restaurant and lacks some ambience.

I give them 5 stars because they were the only ones open after 11pm on Christmas Day. Thank you!!! I am here visiting my family and come from Los Angeles. My husband and and his brother and nephew were starving. Not only were you open but we thoroughly enjoyed the food we ordered. I highly recommend the Orange chicken and chow mein!

Waitress offered to bring us an organic bean salad as an appetizer, making it sound as if it was going to be a free sample. Neither of us liked it, and almost none of it was eaten. The rest of the meal was OK, but noting to write home about. There was food left over, and I gave the waitress very clear instructions about how to box it up. She didn’t even come close to doing it the way I told her. When the check came, the yucky bean salad was $ 11.00. We complained, but were told that because some of it was eaten, we had to pay for it.

Bad.Sad. food. The food was cooked fine but we bought 3 different items and there was zero flavor. Zero.flavor. The egg foo young and lemon chicken were so bland, the sauce for the egg foo young had the consistancy of elmers glue and probably not far off on the taste either. The lemon chicken sauce was was equally tasteless and the only difference was the color and consistancy. It was given to us in a folding carton.which.lets just say did little to contain it and spilt on the carpet of my vehicle while driving home. If looking for chinese food while in everett. Go elsewhere.

Our first visit to this restaurant. My husband and I ordered pork fried rice, sweet and sour pork spareribs and chicken with snow peas. All three dishes were great! The snow peas were fresh and crisp, the chicken tender. My husband is a huge fan of spareribs with sweet and sour sauce and he said it was the best he ever had in any restaurant! We will plan our next group dinner here!!!

The food tasted days old. We ordered take out tonight and it was nothing worth remembering. This is my first negative review on Unilocal and having worked the restaurant industry for a decade it’s tough to day this but the food was awful. I’m a typically a forgiving palate but this food was stale, obviously frozen, and just lacking flavor. Chinese should never be this bad. I expect a little margin but this was just bad. I will never go back.

I was a bit disappointed in this place. The décor is pretty but their prices are too high considering the portion sizes. When i say the portions are small… one of the items we ordered was sweet and sour pork(which was good) and we got a small plate with ten little pieces of fried pork. We found that horrible considering with my husband, me and our 5 year old our bill was 45 bucks. Plus it was a Saturday evening and we were literally the only ones there. I wouldn’t recommend them and we won’t be going back.

I love this place and it seems to be one of the only places open late in Everett. I find their food a little expensive, but I have always enjoyed it, so no big deal. The only thing that bothers me is that on 3 separate occasions I have called during the week around 1AM and no one has answered the phone. One time I even drove there to see if they were open because there was still a good hour before they were supposed to close and they were indeed closed. Their website says that they are open until 2AM Mon-Sat and I just wish they would update that if their hours have changed because I keep getting my hopes up and then just end up disappointed. Recommendation: Honey Walnut Prawns

This is more like 3.5, but since Unilocal has yet to augment it’s star rating feature to accommodate the half-star review, it will have to suffice to say it here. Lilly’s Garden is the best Chinese restaurant in Everett proper that I have tried thus far. The restaurant itself is very large, clean, well-lit with many windows. The tables are set with real linen, and fancy fan-folded cloth napkins. The décor is typical old school Chinese American so a big plus to the kitsch factor of this place. They also serve you tea(Jasmine) in a pretty china pot. We came on a holiday weekend(Saturday) during lunch hours(Which incredibly run from 11 – 3 here, most places stop lunch pricing well before 2:30 so bonus points for that) And ordered off of their lunch special menu– He went with the Kung Pao, I tried to play it safe, and ordered S&S Prawns. None of the lunch specials were priced over 6.95, so it’s extremely affordable as well. The soup wasn’t great, but it was prepared properly. It was a little under seasoned for me. The rice that came with the lunch special also lacked enough salt, but some soy sauce remedied that problem, and it was actually quite good for fried rice, not too greasy. There were 6 big, juicy fried prawns in my order, with the atypical neon sauce– it was more on the sour side than the sweet. And, the dish really could have been enhanced with some onion, bell pepper, carrot and or/pineapple. It was just straight prawns with sauce. It was such a large portion for lunch, I really couldn’t complain. I’ll be back if I don’t find anything comparable– I had a worse experience at a competitor not far from this restaurant, and although the food wasn’t spectacular– it was fill the need Chinese in the right part of town, for a great price. Stop in and see them!
