I would not suggest this place. I’ve given them 3 try’s. They are terrible. This is a place that was voted 2010 and 2011 Best Of Washington. I think that was forged

Bad bad bad. Rushed the pedicure. Only put one coat of polish on my toes(you could see through the polish to the nail). I’m pretty sure they used an old well used file(you could see the filings of other people nails on it) on my nails. I won’t be back.

They did a horrible shellac job. The young girl who did my nails was obviously inexperienced & the owner Kim was there supervising. I was their only customer the entire time. They removed my previous shellac with an electronic file used for acrylic. They didn’t clean up my nails, trim cuticles or do any preparation before they started painting the layers. Instead of putting the UV dryer at the manicure table I was sitting at, they had me move to a small area where it was plugged in elsewhere. She sat next to me(no table between us) & proceeded to paint the layers as I held my own hand steady while the other was in the dryer. It was awkward. I noticed it was being painted on really thick. I told Kim that I hadn’t ever had it painted over my cuticles like that. She said it’s suppose to go on that way, that it looks better as the nails grow out. I left not realizing how bad they really were. The next morning I woke up with an entire corner of my middle nail chipped. I went in to have them fix it. She said, «Oh you must have bumped it». When I told her I woke up with it like that she said, «Oh you lie to me now?» I said, «Uh, no and that’s never happened before.» They fixed it by removing the the shellac with a combination of rubbing cotton soaked acetone and filing it off with a regular fingernail file. I felt my own nail getting thinner. By the time they were finished, it was sore. I was really mad and didn’t want to waste any more time there so I left. The next day I decided to go to my usual salon(KD Nail Spa across the street from this place next to Albertsons) to show them this terrible nail job and have them redone. KD Nail Spa did an amazing job as usual. I will be posting a 5 star Unilocal review for KD Nail Spa with a before and after picture. Apparently Kim has a reputation for being rude to her clients and employees. Painting all over skin and cuticles is regular complaint as well. If Kim was smart, she’d educate herself on how to do a good job with shellac. Not only do people love the way it lasts, it’s expensive! I only went to this salon because it didn’t look busy & it was close by. Every time I drive by they have NO customers. There’s a reason for it.

I started going to this salon about 7 years before it recently moved. the last time i was in the salon i got acrylic nails with gel powder and gel top coat, i explained i wanted regular acrylic because the gel seems to lift, the owner Kim said to try the gel powder one more time(it is more expensive) as she did my nails she explained to me how bad business was and practically begged me to come in more often and help her out. a few customers came in and she gave them a wait time. as more came she began to rush my nails and paid very little attention to them at the end. i was not happy with the quality and went back a week later to have them fixed, this time she buffered them down and then put a basic top coat on instead of the gel,(which she blamed for the lift, saying the gel was too close to the cuticle and that is what caused the lift) she then put a regular nail polish top coat on, I explained to her that it would peel off, she said«gel looks like shit» after 2 days, the regular polish top coat has all peeled off leaving a dull look where she«cleaned up the lift» if business is bad and you are begging your customers to come in, you would think you’d give an all star service vs. poor quality that needed to be corrected, and once«corrected» was still terrible. i will find another salon.
