Orange Julius

I have to agree with pretty much everything Isaac said. I loved the Orange Julius at Bellevue Square when I was a kid, but these stores seem to have become extremely rare now. Luckily there is one here at the Everett Mall. I wouldn’t say this store is outstanding or noticeably different from competitors Jamba Juice or Emerald City Smoothie, though. It’s smoothies in a blender. Not much you can do with that to shake it up (like my pun?).
Basically, Orange Julius is more of the same. Drinks are of course expensive, and there’s no way I would have been able to get these all the time back in the mid-​1990s at these prices. I paid $ 5.45 for a large 24-​ounce, although you really shouldn’t need any larger than a medium. Not sure whether that was even worth it considering how the drinks are just heavily mixed with ice in a blender. Still debating whether reliving my nostalgia was worth those thousand extra calories.

Every once in awhile you need to treat yourself to drink that reminds you of your youth. I haven’t had an Orange Julius in many years so when I saw this place I decided to give it a try. The drink is what I remembered; very refreshing and tasty. I love this drink when I was a kid and the kid in me loves it now.
