Soundview Tavern

This bar has absolutely no respect for their neighbors. They sell alcohol passed 2am and let motorcyclists rev their engines until 3am and gang members «bump» their music outdoors on weeknights. There has been rumor that the liquor board is trying to shut them down. I have witnessed a multiple of fights and police activity at this Establishment. Terribly slow service. I can’t see why.

I love this place. Is it a dive bar… yes it is and the best one around. The drinks are good and cheap. The food is great, awesome burgers. The patrons are fun… the service is good. Great for people watching. The staff is really friendly and I love Sophia the little dog! One of our favorite places to go for a bite and a drink!

This place is a DIVE. It’s a perfect example of a dive — cheap booze & cheap food. The outside seating area is really nice especially in the summer. This place always seems to be full and it’s a favorite for my friends who are locals.

Such a wide variety of people come here. From bikers, hookers, drug dealers, 97 year old men, young people, gay people, you’ll see it all and I can appreciate that about this place. They have very cheap stiff drinks. I wish they had more indoor seating though. It’s an experience.

Great bar to come to after work to get food and drinks. Always greeted when I walk up to the counter to get something. They have bomb «stuffed cheese bread.» Big shots and beer for cheap price. Enjoy it and recommend to friends. Bartender is really nice.

If you are playing pool with a drunk patron you will be cut off. Drinks will be pulled and you will be kicked out. As I was. Sad. Will not be back.

This was the very first bar I ever visited when I moved to Everett 2 years ago. It is your classic dive bar with great bar food. Their sliders are delicious and SO cheap! Another great menu item is their salads, the crispy chicken one being my favorite. I’ve heard from several friends and locals that the crowd here can be a bit rough, but I’ve never had that experience. I’ve been here a few dozen times on different days and the patrons have always been mellow. Their staff is very friendly.

When I first moved to Downtown Everett I loved this place. Great food and stiff drinks at a reasonable price. I found all the bartenders to be friendly however they do tend to over serve, but what dive bar doesn’t. My issue is with the crowd that hangs out there, It’s a shady, Meth-​y crowd. It can change from day to day so if you can catch it at a good time it can be a wonderful experience.

Nice little dive on Hewitt. Drinks are reasonably priced and were stiff enough for my liking. We were hungry so we ordered chicken strips and the halibut and chips. Not too shabby. l’ll be back for sure.

Worst service ever by bartender denise! I will not ever go here again. First time in my life that I was treated like crap before I even ordered my first drink. i promply. cancelled order and spent my $ 100 elsewhere. i just moved to everett. my guy is a cab driver. Neither he nor I will be saying anything good about this place. I hope nancy (the owner) reads this and takes it to heart. I have seen denise overserve her good friends and cut off ppl whom just get there. Please note that I had not had one single. drink anywhere else before this happened. Plus she lets ppl walk out on their tabs.

They have everything right. Best pool tables, cheap drinks, food and atmosphere anywhere in Everett. The back area is great for summer time shenanigans and some fresh air. It’s a dive bar don’t be such a pussy and enjoy yourself.

Strong drinks at a very reasonable price, food has always looked good, but it’s a pretty divey bar. The back patio is great for those (few) really hot summer nights, but if a breeze picks up, beware: you may get a gust of homeless-​meth stink. The crowd is a little «hard» for my tastes.

Place is a dive. Drinks are strong. Maybe too strong. But is cheap. Outside out back seems better than inside front. And can you do something about the restrooms? Only fits one person!

Delightful! Seeing a show at Anchor Pub down the street, but Anchor wasn’t serving food because they had the concert. Only some sad looking bratwurst. So we took a walk looking for food. And the Soundview was perfect. You order drinks and food at a window towards the back. The woman working (seemed to be only her and the cook) was wonderful. Great attitude and VERY strong pours. My gin and tonic was ALL gin with a float of tonic on top. She let us know they didn’t serve «fast food» but that they served «good food,» and she wasn’t kidding. For only $ 5.50 the ham and cheese melt was delicious (high quality thinly shaved ham, too) and it came with choice of sides (tater tots, fries, or onion rings). Portions are VERY generous. Also, dipping sauce choices (tarter, ranch, ketchup, etc). Came with a TON of tater tots, and my pal’s onion rings were really really good. The boys got Fish N Chips and they were raving about those, too. So, for really tasty pubgrub/​diner food, this is the place.
Lots of «flair» on the walls, a great mix of patrons (lots in biker gear) and many who felt like regulars. Also someone brought their dog into the bar, which was great fun. There’s an electronic jukebox and this one guy kept buying Taylor Swift songs, which was unexpected and kinda funny. Maybe he was suffering a recent breakup? The carpet on the floor is sticky and the chairs are old/​worn. But it’s a very COMFORTABLE bar and the surfaces and restrooms are clean. They had printed signs up advertising a bar potluck on Saturday at noon, which is adorable. Pool tables were active the whole time we were there. Definitely enjoyed the vibe here.

This is a really fun, unassuming place right near the waterfront in Everett. There’s pool, cheap beer, pull tabs and a very unique outside area. Bars like this are a dying breed.

After I left my work. I work at the Naval Station. they were so respectable. I got a nice cheap beer, I bought some dude and this chick some drinks. I stepped outside and had a smoke. This place is a great bar. If you’re looking for a place to hang out with people that will show you love and respect. This is the place to go! Bandidos are everywhere, but they’re gentleman. All around excellent people to be around. I had a good time. Thank You for your hospitality Soundview, and God Bless the Bandidos, and their genorerosity… I had fun…

Super strong super cheap drinks + a really cool outdoor area + fried food of all varieties + a come-​as-​you-​are atmosphere (this atmosphere ensures that the Soundview always has «characters», including of the unsavory variety) = a pretty darn awesome dive bar.

The friend I came here with informed me that this would be the bar in Everett you would most likely be shot at.
I normally go to the Anchor across the street, but since it’s closed on Mondays, decided to come here. Everyone says it’s sketchy, but it didn’t bother me and seemed perfectly fine. Apparently it’s a popular hang out for the Banditos Biker gang, Everett crust punks, bros, and just your average regulars. Cheap drinks, super nice bartender, and the food looks great. Typical dive – TVs, pool tables, vending machines, and not to mention pinball! Have been looking for a place to play pinball in the Everett area, there is a room in the front with two pinball machines (Medieval Madness and Elvira and the Party Monsters)
I would come here again, for sure, but the Anchor will always be my first option.

Bandidos or not, this was a great place to finish off our evening at!!!
I guess it all depends on what your perspective of what scary is.
The bartenders are amazing!!! Great women that made the place well worth going to!!! Love their antics and laid back attitude!!! Wish I could remember their names, but by that time in the night, I had been introduced to so many people that my head was spinning!!!
Sure, it’s a little worn down inside, BUT the food is EXCELLENT!!!
I had these mini Cordon Bleu bites and my friend had their sliders (which he swears by).
Both were scrumptious!!!
Quite a few pool tables to keep you occupied while you eat and drink.
I’d love to go back!!!
