Taco Del Mar

I love this taco Del mar! The staff are super nice and always get my order right. It’s great food for a good price as well.

Exactly what I want and expect from a fast food Mexican joint: consistently good food for a minimum hit to the wallet. Also, the place is fast and efficient; this is no wine and dine!

Great food and I believe family owned. Good service and clean store in a nice location of Everett. They catered our wedding a few years ago and it couldn’t have been better, plenty of food and service please consider them for a wedding event you can’t go wrong. Referred them to other events since then and had great compliments.

Went in yesterday with less than 15 minutes before closing. We felt bad walking in so late & the guy working let us know it was no big deal and he was happy to help us! He was very friendly & it was nice cause he asked if I wanted hot or super hot salsa, I went back and forth and decided on the hot but even after making my decision, he let me try the super hot salsa so I felt confident in my decision. It’s the small little things like this that make me want to go back to places so I appreciate it! The place was clean, food was delicious and service was great :)

I went in today and the gentleman working made no eye contact, talked with no enthusiasm in his voice, and I swear he even snickered at my meat choice.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. The man that always serves me is very nice and has a nice sense of humor. It may be a chain but it’s good food and good service, I’d say give it a shot

We recently got married, and had the owners cater our wedding. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! They included nice plates, napkins, the works… not just low quality paper products, really nice dinnerware (of course still disposable)!! I was sooo impressed with their customer service! When we went in to put a deposit down for the wedding food, they comped our lunch! Great owners — they deserve the business and they do an amazing job catering! I will say, however, that if you have them cater, you should ask to take the leftovers home… I forgot and we had so much extra food leftover it would have been nice! Plus the groom and I were STARVING at the end of the night and could have used a couple tacos!
Overall, great couple! They have great customer service and really go the extra mile for you.

Dirty restaurant — slow service — lousy food and a very small portion of lousy food (2 tacos for $ 4.25 — a 4yo kid could have ate 6 of them)

I’ve been a fan of Taco Del Mar since the burritos were $ 3.95 and that’s been a while. I had a good experience at the Taco Del Mar on Hewitt today. Ordered a burrito with guacamole (75 cent up charge) but noticed as I ate that there was no guac on it. Upon mentioning this the manager handed me a small cup of guacamole and ask if it would be okay on the side… of course it is!
A moment later he was at my table urging me to take a $ 1.00 refund for his mistake. I told him this was totally unnecessary but he was insistent, so I took the dollar and on the way out I simply dropped it into the tip jar. Well you know this guy now has a customer for life and it only cost a buck.
The quality of the service varies from store to store but c’mon these are franchies. Ya can’t police ‘em all. If you don’t like one place go to another.

I’m keeping this review short b/​c I didn’t have much of an experience here.
I had a chicken burrito here and it was okay. I expected there to be more flavor but I was sincerely disappointed. The lettuce, beans, sauce including the chicken itself tastes plain. It was as if I got a burrito at McDonald’s b/​c it was quick, tasteless, and non-​filling. The service was decent considering that I was only there for ten minutes. I will stick with Chipotle.
Save your money and walk 20 steps further to Brooklyn Bros Pizzeria, Gordito’s, or some Indian food. It’s worth the wait.

My review is more for the CRAPPY SERVICE at the Everett location.
The owners are nice but the TWO GIRLS working have hideous customer service skills. I wonder if they know the customers are looking right at them as they roll they’re eyes or give eachother knowing looks as if saying ’ this persons an idiot’. I even saw them do it to a girl probably in high School ROTC and i almost lost my mind. They are just so rude, I want to say something and maybe one day i will… They don’t deserve even having the jobs they do.
As for the food, I like that I can get what I want, without making a ton of subsitutions. However, they are too quick to assume you want rice and cheese, which I don’t ;)

I’m a fan of Taco Del Mar because it’s good and simple! I can get a nice filling meal for not much money and get served quickly. The company that franchise TDM went out of business because they didn’t keep good control over location selection and they didn’t keep a close watch on how the franchisees operated. Taco Del Mar started on a pier in Seattle and in the Seattle area I’ve had great luck with all the locations I’ve gone to. The only problem was that the Tulalip location stamped the buy 10, get one free card, with there name and address on it, so I couldn’t use it in Everett.
If you want more options, go someplace else. A lot of options, make it harder to operated a restaurant and it will make your meal worse… just like McDonalds or other big chains, the more complicated things get, the worse the food gets. Just about everything at the big fast food restaurants taste over processed now. Taco Del Mar isn’t perfect, but for fast food it’s pretty darn good.

Love the fish taco with black beans. Overall a good meal and somewhat healthy. Love how it is wrapped in foil and easy to eat. Good prices for what you get.

Place doesn’t recycle it’s glass?! Is not worthy of a single star. Same corporate food, too.

They are finally going out of business down here in Vancouver, two have closed already. They are horrible, just as bad as Muchas Gracias. Nasty food and rude workers.

I agree with buck w. yucky, yucky, yucky. Something happened to this place a couple of years back. It used to be good, then I think the original owners sold it to someone else. Icky, sucky and yucky.

Icky bad. hard tortilla, bad meat, poor service. complained and got no satisfaction. I’m really surprised I didn’t get food poising there. Stay away from this Taco Del Mar.

I have ate at a variety of this local «chain». The old motto of «We roll ‘Em Fat…» made up by long-​ago manager… well yeah, back then when they cropped up, it was FAT… now… HAHAHA, might as well pretend you just had a partial meal and wasted a little under $ 10 bucks. The bright side, at least the food is still good for it’s type of joint, but overall, NOT impressed as time passed!

Taco Del Mar is one of the few chain places I really like. I could eat the fish Burrito every day for a about three days before I would get tired of it…
Any way, staff is friendly at this location and it’s always been clean when I’ve stopped. Prices and selection are standard for the chain.

I like the concept of quick and fresh Mexican food. But what I don’t like about Taco Del Mar is that they only have a few standard items. The chicken is just chicken, the burrito is just a burrito with too much dry rice, and the chips are just plain chips.
I eat here a lot, but have learned to avoid the burritos, instead get soft tacos, and not get the hot sauce which is too hot for my taste.
Del Mar means ‘of the Sea’ so their specialty is a fish burrito with fried fish (cod, I think) and cabbage with a creamy, spicy white sauce. It is good, but is not so healthy.
I go because it is convenient and I like how it is bright and cheerful inside. Not good enough because I never have cravings for Taco Del Mar.
