Target

This used to be our go-​to Target but it has become a disaster. Sure it has more room than some of the stores closer to the city but the inventory stinks. I’m done with this one.

Got two of the same items from our wedding registry with no receipt, we came in one day to ask about it then returned two days later to complete the transaction — Jake took care of it on both ends.
Went to the Pizza Hut and got pizza fresh from the oven; I can live with this treatment

Baby Registry disaster. To many issues to list.

Definitely a useful place to go if you need most things (though this one isn’t a full on grocery store like some other Targets) The biggest downside to Target in my opinion, is that most people go looking for low prices and generally it’s not always cheaper than other sources. It’s definitely a good one stop shop though, but if you are really looking to save money stick to buying only what you planned on because they are pretty awesome at sneaking another dollar or ten out of you from the dollar bin area, Starbucks, or their shiny end cap displays.
If you have time to shop around, do Target for their paper goods and cleaning supplies and go to TJ Maxx/​Marshalls for anything home (bath mats, towels, décor, etc), and
or
for shelf stable food, toiletaries, cleaning supplies (great value) Also, consider going to a consignment store or thrift store for clothes because not only can you find Target clothes for a fraction of the price, but you generally find mall brands as well. Or try Primark for clothes.

Went here last night for a TV for my salon, very happy with the service. the young man was being very helpful and seemed happy with what he’s doing. too bad I didn’t catch his name, it was very late around 10 pm, when we went back again for another purchase, he just sold an other TV, and once again, he was very happy and friendly helping us to look for what we need, I have been here so many times and always happy with the service but only this young man made me want to write a review about this store. WELL TRAINED!!! Will continue shopping here!

I ordered two wifi routers on
and selected the pick up in store option. Less than 15 minutes later after placing the order, I got a text telling me that the items were ready for pick up same day. I went to the store, picked up my items, and got back home within 45 minutes. Nothing but great service. I initially placed the same ordered with Walmart, but I cancelled it while I was at the store because of the horrible service I received. Please read my Walmart review.
This was my first pick-​up-​in-​store experience at Target and I loved it. I would order again from Target and pick it up in store. I experienced same day in store picked up at Walmart before and I usually have to wait 2+ hours before the item was ready.
Like SERIOUSLY Walmart… how long does it take your employee to grab an item off the shelve and have it ready for a customer? I know it takes Target employees less than 15 minutes.

Worst Target ever. I worked in a Target for two years and I am surprised ANYONE goes into this one. Our visit 6÷14÷15 was so bad I had to write a review. The toilet area in the men’s room had feces smeared on the floor and the 5 $ gift card I was supposed to get at checkout for buying $ 20 worth of product did not automatically show up so the cashier would not inquire further for me and an attached «1 $ off now» coupon he would not honor. I could not go to customer service because my husband needed to use a restroom so I paid and we went to Petsmart to buy pet things and use a restroom. We had been in this Target at Christmas time and remembered how poorly managed the place was with mismanaged shelf fronting throughout and lines with more than 3 waiting parties (two things you should NEVER see in a Target) but I was looking for a bunch of bathroom products so we took a shot… BIG mistake.

This is one of my favorite Target locations in the area. It’s big, clean, and the staff is actually really friendly. It’s a lot bigger than the Somerville location and it’s got the grocery section.

Not a very good target. I was in the neighborhood so I stopped by to buy some fresh groceries. I did not buy anything because all their fruits were moldy and more expensive than what you’d pay at whole foods. I noticed the prices on most items were 20 or so cents more expensive than other targets. I don’t understand why considering the neighborhood is nothing to write home about. 3 stars because parking was easy and they had short lines.

Came here on Christmas eve… big mistake.
The place was a madhouse. The parking lot was a asylum for the criminally insane drivers and it didn’t help that it was pouring outside which only added to their madness.
The interior was disheveled because of the high volume of last minute shoppers so I can’t really fault the store for that. It’s your typical location not withstanding the holiday rush.

This is the 3^rd time in 3 months .
Of course target management it doesn’t have to do anything with Starbucks or maybe ??

To the cashier who apparently found it too hard to bag my whole two items. I have no words. A pair of underwear and a bag of Jax — well the Jax made it home. You had the worst selection of everything. No sizes except xs or xl. No la Croix grapefruit seltzer but all the other crappy kinds. Get some real polar seltzer. Or don’t, I’m coming back to get my money back for what I’m rightfully owed and then I’m never coming back!

I was browsing some other target reviews and realize some people nitpick too much.
This is a Target. Expect it to be fairly busy most of the time and annoying people/​somewhat lackluster customer service. If you’re expecting customer service rivaling a fine restaurant, you will be disappointed.
I go here daily and will get asked if I need help every so often. So there associates to pay attention.
The lines typically suck, but depending on who is running the register area, they call for help pretty fast. (2 of them are great, 1 of them is horrific). If you have a couple items, here’s a tip… go to the returns area if it is not busy. You’ll get checked out asap.
Parking…well it’s a huge lot. If you’re the type that cries over little dents in your car, then don’t park close. Don’t be lazy, get some exercise
Has a pretty solid selection of groceries as well as the normal amount of stuff you’d find at a target. However, I don’t think I’d do my grocery shopping there.
Oh and get CartWheel. You can find some pretty decent deals on there if you’re in coupons and whatnot.

It was Sunday morning, the store was quiet, so we decided to drop in to pick up some goods and look at their selection of cell phones.
When we walked in it was obvious that it was a quiet day because most of the shelves were pretty well stocked. The only area that was lacking was there outdoor department. We looked for a particular brand of charcoal that they had in the past but that was not available and they had a limited selection of other types.
When we went to look at their cell phone department we ended up waiting around for about 20 minutes while they tried to find the employee who worked in the cell phone department. Later we found out that he never showed up to work and no one had realize it. That was a bit frustrating but overall the other staff members were polite.
When it came time to check out we didn’t have to wait in a long line which was nice and the cashier was polite. Overall, it was an OK shopping experience at Target and obviously there was some room for improvement.

This review is a reflection on Dr. Anoiske of Target Optical only. I have been to this location multiple times over the last few years and dealt with the front desk associate, Chris, and he has always been fantastic.
I had a scheduled eye exam with Dr. Anoiske today, however, and she was anything but.
I came in for a routine eye exam. Upon filling in my information, I went into her office for the exam at which point she told me, from a cursory glance at my card, that my plan «does not cover routine exams.» I told her this was not the case and that I have had a routine exam under this insurance, including one visit to this very office, in each of the last two calendar years.
This is to say nothing of the fact that I had confirmed my insurance was accepted with them when scheduling the appointment and that I had confirmed my appointment would be held after realizing I would be about 15 minutes late.
She condescendingly stuck to her stance, calling the insurance to confirm (Mind you, this was a holiday, so they were closed), initially fumbling with her phone which was unplugged for who knows what reason.
Upon meeting with failure to confirm one way or the other, she told me she was «100% certain that my plan didn’t cover routine vision, it’s medical only.» She in turn refused to see me.
I work in health insurance, something she could readily see from my registration. Most medical plans have a routine vision benefit.
Her demeanor was inpatient, condescending and rude, to say nothing about her apparent clerical incompetence.
For the record, I reviewed my benefits online upon returning home and lo and behold, I’m covered at 100% for a routine vision exam once per calendar year.
I am infuriated to have wasted so much of my time on this matter and will be taking my business elsewhere for my exam. I will still likely order replacement lenses through Chris, (Assuming I can confirm that Dr. Anoiske will not see a dime of my order) but I will not be considering Target Optical for my vision exam in the future.

The one thing I found unsettling was how proper and friendly our older female cashier was to a fellow white woman ahead of us in line… but when we reached her, were given the silent treatment. Not even a greeting. Just our total. It took me chatting her up for her to talk to us. Maybe she was prejudiced? Thought we were Asians who didn’t speak English? If so… pretty ignorant of her.
The setup is unique, in comparison to other Targets. The beauty aisle in particular.

This Target reminds me of Florida.
Product placement seems counterintuitive but the quantity is impressive. Starbucks and food, clothing, groceries, furnishings, plus more, all in one space. It’s big and it’s Target. Family-​friendly pricing and easy navigation, the aisles and central walk way are wide and accommodating.
This Target is the opposite of a City Target.

HUGE, maybe too huge.
I was only looking for 1 thing – hand lotion – and there wasn’t a section just for that – it was mixed with lots of other products which made the search kind of a pain.
Looked at tons more things because everyone was looking for something different and lost everyone at some point or another. Everyone got what they wanted though – and I even got a cupcake! The frosting was a bit dense but still good for less than $ 2 and just buying one.

Things are not set up well at this target… honestly, the trash bags and such are in the pharmacy and no where near the cleaning supplies, etc. So odd.
The place isn’t kept clean (not like dirty but all of the stocked areas are in shambles… things everywhere)
I am not sure if they are understaffed or what but I barely saw anyone to help me or ask questions to and based on how the store looked, they need more people.
The few people I did talk to were nice enough, but honestly, where was all the staff?
Not a fan.

When there is money needed to be spent and nothing to particularly spend it on, come to Target.
It’s always smarter to come here during the weekday when it is empty. So empty in fact one can race down the aisles & do a somersault.
Unfortunately less people doesn’t equate to a faster checkout. On this past Wednesday, 4 lanes were open & all 4 lanes had customers who apparently had items without prices. I felt as if I was playing a game of musical lanes by bouncing around to all 4 lines but kept losing after discovering that one line was worse than the other.
