Really enjoy Terracotta Red… I’ve gone about 5 times now. Sometimes, even if not that crowded, the service can be slow… water is always refilled quickly but some waitstaff is slow. I don’t know if it’s the kitchen or not because sometimes the soda refills were slow too. Last night when I went, we were having our Valentines date and went in early… right about 5:00. We had a little blonde waitress… maybe middle aged. and she was fantastic, friendly, and fast… she even made me a special fruity off menu drink :) I ordered the Sweet Basil Beef for the second time and really enjoyed it and husband also liked the Candied Walnut prawns. We ordered the chocolate mousse dessert too and I didn’t love it… felt like it had been refrigerated and pulled out .the mousse was cold and denser instead of creamy and light. We also had the appetizer chicken lettuce wraps and they are really flavorful and lettuce fresh. I have also tried the Mongolian beef before but it is too sugary for me and comes with green been which I didn’t enjoy. Oh… and they have a great coconut chicken soup that has a thai curry ish flavor to it but not too strong. really yummy… lunch specials are great cuz you get the soup with your meal :)

Good size dishes, easy for lunch or dinner, and with a big group. Also loud enough that taking kids is easy.

Amazing dinner. Our friend recommended us going here for my husbands birthday. We came after the hockey game, the place was busy but the staff kept up. The only issue we had was our salad didn’t come out for a good 25 minutes, but we were so busy talking we didn’t notice until our waitress came. The husband had the Mongolian beef and I had the honey sesame chicken, we got one side of rice and it was enough for 2. I had the iced Chai tea to drink, and for dessert we had crème Brule and deep fried ice cream with huckleberrys. AMAZING meal. The staff was amazing. There was a guy cleaning and setting up tables and he did such an amazing job making sure we had refill of water and all our dirty dished were cleaned up. AMAZING staff. I recommend a date night here and I hear the lunch specials are even better. We will be back

I really enjoy this restaurant. It’s one of my favorite stops in Everett and seems to never disappoint whenever I have the opportunity to enjoy it’s fine cuisine. A broad array of Asian fusion dishes create delectable choices and I’ve had the good fortune to sample many. If you’re in Everett you won’t go wrong visiting Terra-cotta Red!

One of the best places to eat Asian cuisine in Everett. I have never been disappointed with their food. Sometimes their service isn’t the best however-occasional lengthy waits for food.

Terracota Red is never a disappointment. Whenever I get to Everett, I make a point to have at least lunch. Today I tried the Korean Rice Cake with Beef. I asked if I should expect the crispy rice cake thing from the store… Noooo! This is soft and cut into medallions. Perhaps like a polenta, only made from rice. Such an interesting dish this is! The rice cake is creamy with a firm texture, there are onions and peppers and green onion enveloped in a brown sauce that is delicious. I shan’t embarrass myself by trying to spell it. I shall just savor the flavor! First bite and my tastebuds said«wow!» The beef is perfectly tenderized, the peppers still slightly crisp and the onions done enough so as to not overwhelm the dish The rice cake medallions do stick together a bit too much but who cares! Sooo delicious! Absolutely delicious. I do believe I shall try the ginger crème brûlée for dessert! I almost thought about having that first! UPDATE: the brûlée was a dissapointment. The top was too caramelized(brown not black is preferred) and the brûlée itself is runny. Great presentation, tasted ok — I won’t order it again But not everything can be perfect!

Tried this place for lunch today and thought it was pretty«meh» overall. Got the pineapple fried rice, drunken chicken and rama chicken. Food was decent, but nothing to write home about. Service was very good and friendly, drink refills prompt and they packaged up our uneaten food to go quite nicely. Doubt I will come back.

Such a hidden gem in Everett!!! Hands down THEBEST drunk orange chicken ever!!! Heard about this place from a coworker and decided to order take out. Ordered drunk orange chicken with the fragrant fried rice. Instead of the steak on the rice we substituted chicken. Arrived and the food was packaged and ready to go they even have paper plates and utensils if you ask. The design of this restaurant is so amazing! Nice lobby area for sitting and eating and a more private restaurant in back with a bar. Will definitely be back for eat in!

Went here tonight with my boyfriend, and we were VERY impressed. First of all, our reservations were somehow missed and not put in the book, which would be a negative if the woman working the counter hadn’t handled it so gracefully. She immediately found a table for us and had us seated, even though the restaurant was incredibly crowded and our reservation had not been written down. The great service continued with our server– she visited our table just enough, but not too much, and was sweet and welcoming. And the food. The food here is incredible, and I always leave feeling full and happy. Tonight, we ordered the candied walnut shrimp, crispy drunken chicken, and fragrant fried rice. Each dish was exceptional, and the bill came to about $ 45 before tip, which seemed reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. Overall, the service and food were comparable or even above what you would expect in a nice Seattle restaurant, at a fraction of the price. Highly recommend for a nice, delicious dinner and experience that won’t break the bank!

This is such a gem! I don’t live in the area, so I stumbled on this gem when I was looking up places to eat between Seattle Premium Outlets(Tulalip) and Seattle. I’ve been here twice for lunch now and both times, they were busy. We didn’t have to wait for a table, but our food came out slow. The place is very modern and almost swanky, okay… definitely swanky for Everett(sorry, Everett, it’s true!), but the prices are very reasonable($ 10 – 12 per entrée for lunch). Service is excellent: genuinely friendly and attentive. The food is modern Asian fusion, so you’ll see a better version of most of your favorite(Americanized) Chinese food. Everything I’ve tried here has been good, although a bit heavy on the sauce. I really like the soup that came with the lunch entrees, it was a Thai-inspired coconut chicken soup. I’ve tried the famous drunken chicken, which was good, but not my favorite. You’ll need a knife to cut through the thick chunks of chicken breast. It might be better if the chicken was sliced thinner or smaller, but it was still damn tasty. I like the pork belly: crispy, thick slices of pork belly with just the right amount of fat, sitting on a bed of bok choy. The bok choy was very fresh, with a hint of smoke to it(or I could be imagining things). They also do beef really well. I tried the tangerine beef, which is lightly battered and fried, so it’s crispy and yet still tender at the same time. I think I’ll try the Mongolian beef next time for a slightly healthier option. Lunch portion is a bit small but still satisfying. Definitely come early(they open at 11am) and/or allow for a longer, leisurely lunch if you’re planning to come for lunch. A great stop on your way to/from Tulalip, and a must-try if you live in the area.

I am not sure why I waited to try this restaurant but I wish I would have tried this place earlier. I’m a big fan of the international district and frequent several Chinese restaurants when I am there. I have tried a few Chinese restaurants outside the area but they are not the same. Terracotta Red has changed my perception about Chinese restaurants outside of the international district. I really was impressed with the selection the menu had to offer. We had a very hard time choosing but we tried the drunken chicken, the fragrant fried rice and the beef broccoli. All of the dishes were delicious and very flavorful. The portions were also huge and we ended up taking some home. I ate the leftovers the next day for lunch and they were still very good. I can’t wait to go back and try all of the dishes. Good atmosphere and great service round out this experience.

Great dinner spot in Everett! My husband and I were visiting my brother and his fiancée and needed a last minute, late dinner before heading to the airport for our red eye flight back home. Terracotta definitely delivered on that. There was no wait on a Saturday night at 8:45 and our server was super friendly. We got a bottle of prosecco, which was pretty well priced(as well as the other wine and sparkling bottles). The 4 of us split an appetizer of Bahn Xeo(Vietnamese crêpe), which was enough for us to share. Entrée portions were quite large and prices definitely fair. The drunken chicken and spicy pork fried rice were favorites. Only thing I wish I had been warned about when ordering the drunken chicken entrée is that it doesn’t come with any rice, etc. so just a heads up!

This place consistently impresses! We have been here 3 times now and every time it’s amazing! The food and service are top notch! Our faves are the crispy drunken chicken and mongolian beef. There is something special about the green beans in the beef dish that is to die for! This is our new«special occasion» spot! Everett needs more places like this!

WOW! Terracotta Red is my new favorite find! Went for lunch with some lady friends today, but ordered off the dinner menu so we could share. We had the Mongolian Beef, the Terra Fried Rice and the Drunken Chicken. Lunch would have come with a choice of soup or salad, but we didn’t miss it given the generous portions off the dinner menu. The Mongolian Beef was $ 16, and was flank steak in some sort of soy sauce reduction, with perfectly cooked green beans. The cut of steak was a bit fatty for our liking, but the flavor was amazing. The Drunken Chicken($ 14) was sweet and slightly spicy battered pieces of chicken breast. We were given several(probably close to 10) very large piece of it. Also excellent. The fried rice($ 11) had egg, BBQ pork, chicken and shrimp. Very, very good! Not greasy at all. Only one person had an iced tea, and the rest of us had water. Our bill came to a mere $ 48. Incredible value! My infant daughter made a mess and the server refused to let me help clean it up. She tended to our table flawlessly. Couldn’t have asked for better service from her. The one thing I will say could use work is in regards to the girl who seated us and refilled our waters. She was dressed in gym attire. Seriously, not just casually dressed, but in GYM attire. I’m surprised that is allowed, and I’m not sure the Health Department would be ok with it either. I’m talking about a spandex tight tank top with spaghetti straps that come together in the back, exposing a sports bra, also spaghetti strap, and tight spandex mid calf workout pants and tennis shoes. Her hair was pulled into a ponytail — like she just worked out. It seemed unusually unprofessional for this kind of establishment, but what really kind of grossed me out what that when she reached over our table to fill our glasses, her exposed armpit was within inches of our food. I didn’t like that at all. Ick. That’s a hard one for me to look past… I won’t dock any stars though because the food was really THAT good. The ambience was nice, too. Not casual, not formal, but somewhere in between — perfect for a business lunch or a first date. Can’t wait to return!

The food, atmosphere and friendly staff made this a great date night out. The prices are comparable to PF Changs but the dishes are so much better. We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps which were unforgettable but the Chili Spiced Calamari was really great. For the main course, there was Mongolian Beef, drunken chicken, fragrant fried rice and Emerald fire noodles. All of these were mouthwatering, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Large portions as well. It’s nice to find an Asian restaurants a bit different from the standard Chinese places around. It’s also 15 minutes from our house so that’s awesome. It’s a must go!
