Awesome juevos rancheros! The best. I head there every time I have an AM flight into midway. Kind service and the guacamole and salsa are delicious. This is a no frills diner. So they get right to the point of filling your belly.

A family owned restaurant that makes awesome breakfast food. The Mexican breakfasts are the best, and large portion. The staff is friendly and do a wonderful job.

Great little café with all the standards, omelettes, blts, skillets, Etc. While it’s a small place and could use some updating in décor it’s also part of the charm. Waitresses at friendly, checked on us many times, and are used to special orders. They have a Mexican type skillet with salsa and chorizo that’s to die for. I warn the salsa is pretty hot on its own and does not need any hot peppers added to the dish. That was my mistake! My mouth was on fire lol. But simple good breakfast fare here, I would go for takeout or a quick meal. If your looking for fancy avant garde dishes or focus trendy décor this is not your place.

I want to like this place but something seems off. The food just doesn’t taste right. The last time I ate there I took off the tortillas from the tacos and the food tasted better. But there was still something weird about it.

Food was really good. Kind of quiet when we went but overall I would definitely go eat breakfast again there.

I absolutely love this place! Although for breakfast I usually order the same thing(a Denver Omelet), I have had Steak Tacos for lunch, Club sandwiches, and their great soup! The servers are friendly and attentive always! The food is cooked well, and brought to you in a reasonable amount of time! I can’t say enough!!!

I love the home made salsa, it’s wow! I always get the spinach and feta omelette, with potatoes. I also get a side of retried beans. They make super fresh and real lemonade.

The food was excellent. I had an omelette and it was almost bigger than my plate! Food seemed very fresh and the staff here was very nice.

I went to this restaurant September 2014. This was such a disappointment from last year when we visited. The waitress that waited on us, had on a uniform and apron that were very dirty. I asked that all the food would be cooked well. She brought me undercooked pancakes and when I mentioned it, she yelled at me, «you said well down eggs» only. I had said well done eggs, bacon and pancakes. When we went to pay the check, the owner was sitting eating and totally ignored us. Finally when she did come over, she acted like she was doing us a favor. I would never go back.

Came with a larger party of 6 during the breakfast rush. Be prepared to wait if you’re coming in a group of at least five. Mostly 4-top booths, a row of 2-top booths, and a few bigger tables. We got there around 10:30am and were seated before 11. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. I ordered the spinach & feta omelet with hash browns and buttermilk pancakes. I loved that it wasn’t overly greasy. The potatoes were cooked just right and were the perfect consistency. I knocked off a star because service was slow, understandably because they were busy but my breakfast companions had to wait a while for a coffee refill. I also didn’t get my pancakes(probably for the best, I was full off the omelet and potatoes). I would definitely come again, maybe plan to get there earlier or after the morning rush.

I’m here for breakfast just about every other weekend. My wife and I and some of our friends like to stop in after running. The food is excellent. I always have a hard time deciding between the Mexican skillet, huevos rancheros and steak and eggs. The staff are friendly and give excellent service.

In this area there is not that many breakfast places that aren’t fast food drive in shit.. Having a mexican chef, I would recommend getting something mexican tho. But overall this place is good, never had anything bad for breakfast or lunch even tho service is slow at times.

Was looking for a place recently for a late lunch… since I had to run an errand in this area, I saw the review on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. Got there and seated myself right away… after looking at the menu several times I decided to try their Country Skillet as it sounded good… I was not disappointed… the skillet was very flavorful… seemed to have some kind of extra seasoning(almost tasted like taco seasoning) which made it a bit on the salty side(with the addition of sausage and bacon too). All in all a good place… got that sort of home cooking vibe here… only minor complaint was that I didn’t get a refill on my pop… but then I did have a nice sized glass of water to go with it…

Been driving past this place for years but never went because its so close to OHOP and my fave breakfast place Lumes. This is the first breakfast place where I was asked if I’d like a paper to read, which was nice. The service here is kinda slow. I think its because the waitresses have been working here so long and talk a lot. Took awhile before my order was taken. They only had one cook in the kitchen, but he was fast, not the fastest but fast. I ordered fresh squeezed OJ, a medium T-bone steak, and O’Brien potatoes with a side of avocado. The tbone was very thin, which made since for the price. I asked for it medium but it arrived well done, which also makes since because it was so thin you cant really say it had a middle to make lightly pink. The eggs were like a scrambled fried egg if you can picture that. Besides that everything taste like seasoning salt, everything except the fresh avocado and OJ of course. I think I’ll stick with other breakfast places in the general neighborhood. The furniture needs to be replaced in here too because its at least 15 years old. My table was very wobbly. And the places smells like a hint of Helmanns mayo. You get a wift of that smell every few minutes.

Love this place! Great servers and killer salsa! Cheap prices and a lot of food. They always decorate for the current holiday. They also have great specials.
