My wife and I love this place. Some of the best take out your can get in the area. Egg rolls are very good. Have had many items from the menu and can’t really can’t think of anything that was bad.

Simply the best Chinese food in Chicago. Truly a hidden gem. I know that a «so called» zagat rated Asian restaurant is literally a few doors North, but see for yourself. If you want ambiance and overpriced Chinese food go up the street to «the other joint. But if you want the best Chinese food at a great price with HUGE portions, give Lucky Bamboo a try. You will not be disappointed.

I really liked this place. If your looking for a Chinese restaurant that has quick pick up service this is the place. We were looking for a place other Chi Tung. We feel Chi Tung is good but Highly over rated. So when we looked up the Unilocal Reviews we decided to try it out. Great Choice!!! There chicken wings(drumettes really) were amazingly seasoned and perfectly broiled. I had the General Taos chicken was very flavorful. My companion had the Mongolian Beef and it was equally flavorful and Delish! Highly recommend for the those looking for excellent flavor, NOMSG, Chinese food.

I’ve been here several times, and every time the food was great. I’ve had the wings, egg rolls, and many other dishes and everything is always very good. The food is prepared fresh so the wait time is ok with me.

Good food! Hot and fresh. If you walk in and order take out, it takes a little longer because they literally make everything fresh to order — this is not a bad thing. I always call ahead. Lunch combos are super reasonable. My only negative is that they don’t have an online presence. I would like to be able to access the menu online.

Just wonderful! The food is done perfectly and the flavors really pop. The Orange Chicken alone ranks better than most because of the actual presence of that much orange flavor. It just wins so much. Needless to say, the other foods are made with the same craft and skill. This is what a Chinese place is supposed to be.

The food here never seems to be prepared in a rush; each meal tastes like the cook really took his time in making the flavors all come together harmoniously. The beef is great, the szechuan chicken though is my favorite as it’s not too spicy but has enough kick to remind you you ordered right. Recently I saw they’ve begun serving Pad Thai and cannot wait to visit here again. Parking isn’t a a problem here and it’s fine to even place an order then just sit inside while waiting. The owners are very friendly and sincere and I’ve never had a bad meal from here. There’s a reason this place is still going strong and I’ll be a customer for a very long time!

We order from here all the time! The Mongolian Beef is amazing! It is a husband and wife couple who own/run this restaurant, and they are always very friendly and personable. Everything we have tried on the menu is good, comparable to Chi Tung without the headache of it being as busy. Delivery can sometimes take a little long, but if you can make the trip to pick it up, it can be hot and ready in ten minutes. Most Chinese places are hit or miss, but this one is definitely a hit!
