Great healing experience at Dr. Aki’s. I have been to many Chiroprators and he is one of the best I have experienced. EXTREMELY THOROUGH and KNOWLEDGEABLE and uses the latest cutting edge technology. Dr Aki & Chua always make you welcome and I always have a pleasant experience. Minimalized the pain in my upper back on my first visit and prescribed exercises that were helpful in reducing and eliminating my pain. OUTSTANDING.

Since my accident in April, 2015 after seeing a Physical Therapist I still had pain in my neck and back area. With just a few weeks of treatment with Dr. Aki my pain is gone and feel so much better. He is such a blessing and recommend him to everyone.

Dr Aki is very attentive and caring. He offers monthly workshops to assist in better health. Choua is very welcoming. If your looking for a great chiropractor, look no more. Dr Aki will work out the kinks very quickly.

Dr Ami is very knowledgeable and knows what he’s doing. His wife is the receptionist and She is very welcoming and friendly. I went there the first time and he already did an adjustment for me. And I already started to feel better with the kink that was in my neck. I seriously went from having my kids massage my back everyday to nothing at all. I recommend everyone to go for a consultation with Dr Aki!

I’ve been to numerous chiropractors before and most of them adjust you and feel pretty good for a day or two then the problems come back. That is until I started going to Gonstead Method Chiropractors and I must give credit where credit is due. Dr. Dennis Ronduen in the Aiea Medical Building was my first Gonstead Chiropractor and I have the most awesome results. I would still go to him If my schedule would allow it. But with me no longer working at Hickam and Kaneohe, I try to avoid going anywhere past Pearl City because traffic is so horrendous now.
And now to Dr. Aki and Cornerstone Chiropractic. They just opened a few weeks ago and I was needing an adjustment as it’s been a few months so I wanted to see if there were any other Gonstead practitioners closer to me. I was estatic when Dr. Aki popped up in Laulani village of all places which is about a 5 minute drive from my house and about a 15 minute drive from my work making it totally convenient for me.
I made an appointment right away and my first impressions of the place was that it was very professional very clean and very Feng Shue.. Chua his wife runs the office side and she was very pleasant to work with. Everything is new and he even has his very own xray machine and each of his Chiropractic Equipment is brand spanking new.
They had a new client special and on my initial consultation Dr. Aki was very thorough. He checked my entire spine with his handheld machine that pinpointed the problem areas along my spine. He then marked them with bb’s and taped them so that he could xray them and the next time he could go over a plan of action with me and then get my first adjustment.
Yesterday was my first adjustment and again he was very thorough with both of us devising a plan. We went over payment options and prices and after breaking it down, it’s very affordable.
After all that, he adjusted my lower back /​tailbone first and I immediately felt release of tension. He even told me and showed me the proper way of getting up. He then moved me to another piece of equipment and adjusted my mid back. Again instant relief and felt my spine shift to the left as its curving too much to the right. Lastly, we then moved to one last piece of equipment and he adjusted my neck and shoulders and again instant relief. He even showed me proper posture to massage as he was a massage therapist prior to becoming a chiropractor, how cool is that. Dr. Aki is a very well rounded individual.
I can’t wait to get adjustments 3 times a week for the next 4 weeks and correct all the problems on my skeletal system.

My 5 months son received his first adjustment by Dr.Aki. He smiled the whole time when Dr. checked his spine and gave him adjustment. After his adjustment, he nursed and slept really well. Dr. Aki is very professional and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend getting your child checked by Dr. Aki, no matter how young they are!
