Um, this is the best shave ice I’ve had on island!!! Tiny little Mom and Pop shop that I wouldn’t have known about without seeing people outside enjoying shave ice. Soft shavings, lots of flavors, some sugar-free Very reasonable prices! The small is huge, btw

Love this place. Still the same mom and pop friendly vibe. Prices are worth the amount of shaved ice that is in the cup. A lot of flavors to choose from. Definitely giving it 5 stars and will be back on another hot day.

Such a little place but it’s so charming. The Ice is huge for the money. I enjoy all of the different combinations you can make depending on what you are in the mood for. I love this little place.

Large sizes, plenty of flavor juice added, great service, and a variety of flavors. We were planning on going to a different place but this was closer and our kids were losing it after a long day at Pearl Harbor. Glad we found it! We will continue to go to this location.

I have been coming here once at least a month and this is the best shave ice place in the Ewa Beach /Kapolei area. This is the usual mom and pops place that has a huge assortment of crack seed stuff. Many of which can be used as toppings for their delicious and inexpensive shave ice. Ewa Seed Co. also gives you the option to put in many various toppings such as ice cream, azuki beans, snowcap(basically watered down condensed milk), and li hing powder. Each of which gives a distinct and unique feeling to their hundreds if not, thousands of combinations of flavors that you may order. The business owner is very friendly and he tries to help you with your every need. You very rarely see someone with exceptional customer service such as him to be such a personable guy in an environment such as a crack seed store.

Does it hurt that the guy behind the counter happen to be sporting a SF Giants’s 2014 World Series cap? No because it never hurts to be an SF Giants’s fan. Does it influence yours truly when writing this review? Hells no because their shave ice was in and of itself pretty good(well that’s according to me, the wife, and our little one). So we missed going to the bigger, more well know places like Waiola, but since I’m not a big shave ice aficionado, I was totally okay with that(it’s the whole ignorance is bliss kinda thing you know?). Anyways, it was really more for the little one than us, so if she was happy then we were happy. And after her keiki sized shave ice that kid was hella happy. .. and maybe a little sugared up. The wife and I shared the root beer and vanilla(I wanted to try a variation of a root beer float) while the little one had blue hawaiian, banana, and cherry. Like I mentioned earlier, it was good: refreshing, not absurdly sweet, and retained its form. Should have I dressed it up with ice cream on the bottom or drizzled it with condensed milk on the top? Sure. .. and maybe next time I will. Overall, I’m feeling the local mom and pop corner store vibe of this place, shave ice was good, and the guy is a Giants’s fan. What else can I say but, win, win, win.

Great little store for shave ice and dried plums(the ‘seed’ I guess) treats if you’re anywhere near ewa. Say hi to Dean and go for the condensed milk The store is in the back of the strip mall and can be hard to spot so keep looking!

Owners/workers are really nice. Made small talk when my indecisiveness kicked in while trying to decide on my 3 flavors of shave ice. Quality of the shave ice was fine and I got Mochi balls, azuki beans, and ice cream. Sooo good! They have a lot of flavors to choose from and they aren’t stingy with the syrup. They also have a lot of local snacks that can be sometimes hard to find. They don’t accept credit/debit cards unless its at least $ 10 worth, but I had no problem grabbing some goodies to go. Definitely coming back.

Great place in Ewa Beach that serves shave ice. They have a wide variety favors and some yummy add-ons. I had the Melona flavor with ice cream, mochi balls and ice cap. The Melona tasted just like a Melona ice cream bar. The mochi tasted just like mochi — and not the kind you put on top of Frozen Yogurt. These tasted like authentic mochi you buy from the grocery store. The ice cream was okay. It was put all the way in the bottom and was the vanilla flavored ice cream you can find elsewhere. The ice cap was good which was the sweetened condensed milk on top of the shave ice — not overly drenched but just right. The shave ice is cheap and less than $ 3. For add-ons, it’s an additional $ 0.50. The shave ice piles up so be careful when you dig in because I spilled mine all over myself haha. Luckily I had extra napkins and was outside. The location has available sitting outside. The shop also sells tons of local snacks and a few toys like the rubber band guns, which you can tell this place is fun for kids and the whole family. The atmosphere had a very«Mom and Pop» feel and there’s always parking. Definitely a must-try for anyone that lives nearby!

this place is awesome… it’s always good to have a nearby place to get shave ice on the last minute type of thing and they are open quite late… it’s love it that the prices are completely affordable… no matter who works the customer service is always on point. never ever had am issue here.

Good place! Little mom and pop shop. Good prices. Small, but benches outside are perfect to chill and eat your shaved ice in the shade. Hidden in the Foodland shopping center, but be persistent till you see it. It’s well worth it. Tip: It’s by the back driveway to the shopping center ;)

This is the perfect little shop to go to on a hot day. They have all sorts of little snacks and toys lining the walls. This place is just as good as Matsumotos without the drive. Super cheap prices and I love the raspberry shave ice. They offer it with condensed milk or you can ask for ice cream at the bottom of the cup. I love walking down here with my husband at night. The owner is awesome as well, really chill dude. A must visit

Excellent shave ice with a long list of flavors to choose from, friendly service, generous sizes and cheap prices! We stopped here 3 times in four days. It was my first time trying shave ice with a snow cap– sweetened condensed milk poured over it– raspberry cream heaven! What more can I say? Try it– You won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been in Ewa for about 5 years and surprisingly, I’ve only been here twice! It’s located in the same shopping center as Foodland and Longs. It’s a really small shop so as soon as you enter, you’ll notice that there’s hardly any space, especially when there’s a bunch of people waiting for their infamous shave ice. They have shave ice, and everything else that your typical crack seed joint would have. Li hing mui everything, chocolate covered gummi bears, as well as hot dogs, saimin! Anywhoos, we came here today for some seedless li hing mui for my sore throat and figure we get their shave ice since it was hot & my son saw people walking out with it. You can’t go wrong for big portions for a cheap price! But make sure you have cash on hand, cause they don’t accept credit cards.

When you have your 3 year old nephew begging for shave ice due to the weather burning your scalp, this would be his first choice pick! Ewa Seed Company is located in the Ewa Shopping Center by ASB(American Savings Bank) it’s a little tiny shop that serves huge portions of shave ice(with other little additions like lihing mui, gummy bears, mochi balls, ice cream etc.) It’s super worth getting for a small price amount. Due to the hot weather & barely coming here(I’m a Baldwins shave ice fan which is located in Waimalu) but for my sister and her kids since it’s down the street from her house, this was the place that my nephew raves and nags about when he wants a shave ice, so since he behaved well I decided to take him for a treat. When you enter in, you are smacked in the face with the amount of space they have, or should I say lack of… not to mention with the amount of seeds, snacks, toys and knick knack they have it’s a clutter joy –__-« We both ended up coming mid-afternoon around 330pm & it was jammed packed with families and kids of all ages wanting the 1 thing they are mostly known for… yes shave ice! The line was so long it wrapped around the entire inside of the store(yes imagine the lack of space there was) and to make matters worse, you thought the heat outside would kill you? No, the heat inside was unbearable! The guy in front of me looked like he ran three miles with the sweat patch he had on his shirt, not knowing it was caused by the body heat and lack of air condition there was!(I mean they had 1 regular standing fan in the back and it blew just hot air and they had 2 air-conditioners that only 1 person could feel, and that’s if your the lucky person in front by the cashier! It was a complete sweaty mess! Oh & what made matters worse they have a sign that says«We accept cash & checks» like what is that suppose to mean? I mean many stores accept those! They should at least place a sign outside of the door saying in bold letters«CASH&CHECKONLY!» Had to get out of line to wait back in line for a good 20 – 30 min which pissed me off smh(next time I’m checking the tips on Unilocal before entering anywhere lol) Overall, horrible experience of heat, clutter, and lines BUT I rated 2 stars due to the cheap and huge shave ice they serve, I mean the keiki’s size ended up being shared between my nephew and I & it was very satisfying. So hopefully when I do update this review it would be a better experience! But get they’re shave ice, & pray that your not waiting in that hot mess of a line in that hot mess store! Haha Happy Shave Ice Eats Unilocalers!
