All I ordered was fried rice, and you can tell it was lazily made. The rice doesnt have any seasoning at all, all there is, is light soy sauce and a little bit of eggs and veggies. Not much taste at all.

The restaurant was a bit run down and honestly was a little on the«do I really want to eat here» vibe. I got a roast pork plate, which was basically the Chinese pork with gravy. It was a bit dry and the gravy was thickened as if it had been sitting out for awhile. Husband got a chicken plate and it was a disappointment. Mac salad had way too much mayonnaise(noodles were basically swimming in it). Customer service was lacking. I would not recommend this place, nor would I come back. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere!

Hands down this is my favorite Loco Moco on the island! The food prepared here has the best recipe or ingredients. You see, it’s not like McDonald’s where all the food looks and tastes the same but seriously this Loco Moco gets their food taste right every time I go. Their loco moco plate has big and juicy hamburgers, their mac salad tastes better than L&L and Zippys. If you are dining alone, you can choose a mini plate but if you feeling extra Hungarian, then order a regular plate. Another stand out dish is their shoyu chicken! It’s sweeter but in a good way. They serve brown rice for no additional cost and if you feenin’ for duck, roast chicken or roast pork, they got that here! It’s a Chinese family that runs the place. The cashiers and cooks tend to yell out their orders since the cooking/stove noise is drowns the sound. Every day has a new special and they do party pans/catering. If you are ever in the area I strongly suggest to get their Loco Moco plate with eggs over easy, with their mac salad. If you are weird like me, you mix it all up and add tobasco or Siracha sauce. It’s perfect for the after beach or post work out. They take card as payment when you spend over $ 7. Parking is not bad, you are also in the shopping center next to a Korean BBQ, Shiros and Longs Drugs so if during dinner time it tends to be busy but there is usually stalls available on the Shiros section or near the Chevron which is across of Loco Moco in the same shopping plaza. Enjoy your next kanack attack here!

I love this place! We usually get the«dry» noodles with chicken, teri beef, furikake fish and a few other dishes and it’s always good. They’re definitely NOT stingy with their servings. The staff is friendly and has never messed up an order. HIGHLYRECOMMENDED!

I’d rather come here than L&L. The cash register who takes our phone order/in-orders is nice most of the time. There’s this other Asian guy who also takes orders or cooks/prep the food ordering & he’s very fast paced with everything and they can multitask! Wait isn’t that long when we go there and the food is defiantly hot fresh :)

Tried the roast port. I thought it was going to be Filipino style but it turned out to be more Chinese style. It was seriously the best roast port I’ve had that I can recall. Tender, moist and not too fatty. I’ve enjoyed the teriyaki steak, mochiko chicken and furukake fish before and give all these selections high marks. I will have to go back again to decide which is my favorite.

To pricey for food that taste like you came make better at home on your own. I’m speaking of the hamburger steak I ordered. Not to mention when I got home the mad salad had that boarder-line smell of getting spoiled.

My husband wanted to try something new so we decided to here for dinner one night. We’ve gone back a few times to try different things, but their food is just OK, I really was not impressed. We got the garlic shrimp with mahi mahi and rice once and that was probably the best thing I’ve ever had from here. We also got a combo plate which was pretty good too but nothing special.

This is my favorite place to pickup food. Everything is cooked really well. The employees always greet you with a smile when you walk in. If you go there enough times, you’ll get to know the workers and they’ll remember you and your order.

Wife and I stopped her touring the island. She got the Loco Moco I had beef chow mein. Hers wasn’t the best. Hamburger Patty was straight out of the freezer, very cheap tasting and bland. My chow mein was okay, although noodles around the edge had a crunch too them but the meat was good and noodles under the meat and sauce were perfectly cooked. The place itself wasn’t in great shape, but not nasty either. Other locations may be better, but we wouldn’t go here again.

I personally love this Loco Moco. Right off of Fort Weaver, in the same area that McDonalds and Longs are located. My fiancé introduced me to here when we first started dating because he often came here with his friends in high school and always shared stories with me as we ate. Plate lunches are the typical $ 6+ just iike anywhere else. Just take note that you have to spend a minimum of $ 7 if you plan on using a card as payment. The workers here are always nice, and very patient with us while we sit down and take forever to figure out what we wanna eat, even if we always end up ordering the same thing every single time. But I must say, they have the BEST mochiko chicken on the island. Not sure what it is, but it’s most def the tastiest. Another difference with it is that they don’t cut their chicken up into smaller pieces which I thought was odd at first but you grow used to it.

The food here is delicious! My favorite dish is the teriaki roast pork. They only have it on certain days as a special. The staff here are always so friendly and the prices are very reasonable. There is a bathroom here for customers and employees and a lot of seating for you and your family. People tend to come in around 8:30pm, half-an-hour before the place closes so i would avoid that time, if possible.

Ordered take out once. Minimal customer service. No smile. No thank you. No eye contact. Just called today to ask, «Hi! How many pieces are there in the deep fried shrimp side order?» I ask really nicely and lady says with a sassy voice, «What do you mean how many pieces?! In a plate or in a platter??» And I said, «Sorry, a side order?» And she snaps, «Side order is one piece!» Oh, ok thanks sassy lady.

You must and I mean MUST try the roast Chinese meats here… and yes, this is a Loco Moco Drive Inn! Owner Eric Wong made the best business decision to add these to menu. The Chinese Roast Pork is the bomb. Its super delicious, tender, fatty, and crunchy bits of heaven. It is some serious competition to the mainstay Chinese take out. The Roast Duck is killer. And again its a Loco Moco drive inn with all the foods we all know so well. Roast duck saimin anyone? Its so good, I picked up a tray for a Super Bowl Party in Aina Haina! Don’t doubt, stop in and try, it wont disappoint and there’s brown rice for those that feel guilty.

A local favorite, and I have no idea why this is. Clearly, the local standards are low when it comes to fast food. This is Hawaiian fast food. Got it. BUT, some foods are not meant to be quickly prepared, like, say, a steak for example. And this is why you won’t see Burger King serving steaks. Burger king doesn’t know much, but you don’t see Burger King trying to sell fast steak. We tried the teriyaki steak plate and the grilled ahi plate. The steak was marginal. It wasn’t offensive or anything, but it was clear the focus of this dish was on the sauce in which the steak was bathing and sorry, but you don’t have to go very far to find good teri sauce. The ahi was just rubbish. It was dry and unpleasant to chew. That’s about as nice as I can be with the ahi. Typically I’d give a pass to the plate if at least the mac salad is decent, but to my dismay, the mac salad wasn’t even good. I also felt like the wait time as excessive given the condition of the food. Not sure we’ll be back to this place.

One of my Fave«Local» eateries!!! The Prices are Very Reasonable, they do have a Wide Array of Choices to choose from. And, they Even have Steak!!! They Serve Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. And, if you need a quick, no frills out the door kind of meal? Try their Hot Dog Bento… Which entails: Hot Dogs, Furikake Rice, BBQ Meat, and a Slice of Spam(I believe)! The Take out Restaurant is a little old, but then It’s been at that location for a while! But, they do try their best to make it clean… the ladies that work there are always Friendly & Smiling! And, a BONUS for me… It’s Close to My Mom’s House! The Food is Very Good, and it does get busy during Lunchtime… So My Suggestion: Call it in, so You don’t have to wait too long! The Parking can be a Hassle since it is in a Shopping Mall, but if You’re Patient… You can find a Good Spot! =)

This place has been here for as long as I can remember lol. The pricing is decent, you get a good amount of food. The quality of it is really good! I think you get more than what you pay for The mac salad is on the bland side, which I think is great because I like to add spices(black pepper, Tobasco). If you’re not a mac salad fan, I recommend getting all rice or getting toss salad. If you have children that gets easily distracted and you’re trying to get them to eat, it’s best to avoid this place right after school hours. it’s packed with loud and obnoxious kids from the schools located nearby. I used to love coming here when I was pregnant because it was cool, comfy, and clean. I love their roast beef, I get it quite often. I still love coming here. Located in the Ewa Beach Shopping Center, there is a lot of parking available. There’s a few other eateries nearby. If you’re on a budget but feel like having some good eats, you should check this place out :)

To be honest, I was debating about going in because there are some pretty bad reviews on Unilocal about Loco Moco Drive Inn. Well I sucked it up and went in. The restaurant was not dirty(they were actually cleaning the floor) and the staff was friendly. I was curious about the roasted turkey but it wasn’t fresh so I opted for a small Mochiko Chicken. The food was okay. Nothing spectacular, but very edible. Even though I ordered a small plate, I had left over food. The portions are generous or maybe I was really not that hungry: p
