Best salads around, food is always fresh and the staff and owners are always friendly.

I have been a customer here for 20+ years. Not the best place for pizza. The subs are the best in the area by far. Fresh ingredients and most of the time made by the owners. The Italian sub with the works including hots is the best around!

I’ve been coming here for 25 years. The pizza is thicker crust than I care for. They excel on subs. The salads are healthy and dressing taste homemade. It is a simple, basic place where we get take out or where I used to take my son after an athletic event. The prices are very reasonable. The owners are usually close by and are easy to chat with. They are an Exeter institution.

I was pleasantly surprised, had little expectations for a no-table service joint, but the food was pretty darned good! Those at my table enjoyed the steak bomb, meatball sub and lasagna. Large portions and tasty! The steak bomb had many peppers and onions so if you’re not a fan, steer clear. Only things missing are good beer on draft and a small wine list.

New resident to the area and stumbled upon Romeo’s…Great subs and salads!!! I haven’t tried the pizza yet but both the Meatball and Italian subs were AWESOME and the salads were full of fresh veggies(and warm chicken). Have been back a few times and told all out neighbors about them!

Dropped in for a slice and all they had was veggie. As one of previous reviewers mentioned, the staff was very nice, however, it was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I can only hope their regular pizza is better but I won’t be going back to find out.

i dont usually write reviews but i must say that i went in here a few weeks ago and ordered a sloppy joe for my son and a tuna sub for me. it was the absolute worst food i have ever eaten. they are nice people so i feel badly saying this but the tuna was so bland and tasteless. i ate ½ and couldnt manage to get down the rest. my sons sloppy joe was also tastelss. no salt or flavoring of any kind. worse than school lunch. and the fries it came with were loose, and soggy. we would NOT go back sorry to say. it used to be okay. now it is just plain BAD.

I stopped by Romeo’s on a sunny Saturday afternoon. I also went with the Chicken Finger Sub that James K. raves about in his review. And let me tell you, it is truly rave-worthy. Crispy chicken, super fresh roll, melty cheese, and crisp lettuce all lovingly put together by Mrs. Fotinos, the proprietress. Yum! Their Greek-style pizza is also delicious and I hear wonderful things about their home-made Greek dressing(will definitely have to give it a try next time!). Romeo’s has been family run for decades, and it really shows in their friendly customer service and quality of food. Overall, a great place to stop by for lunch or pick up a pizza for dinner.

This is the home of the Greatest Chicken Finger Sub. I get cravings for them regularly and wish I was closer to Exeter, or my matter transporter wasn’t on the fritz.
