Came here while in the area for work. Great pub, with delicious food! Our server Jen was awesome and super personable. We had the BBQ wings and crab dip, would do the wings again. I had the hangover burger which was perfect and we shared the the skillet cookie and brownie for dessert! Hey, it was a long drive from NYC, we were hungry!

Amazed I haven’t written a review for this place before, because it’s fantastic. All of the burgers are amazing(the second coming is my favorite), and this restaurant easily places in my top five, maybe top three places to get a burger. The draft list is always impressive, with a nice mix of some staples and deep cuts and some interesting local contributions. The bottle list is also remarkable and fills in any possible gaps for something you might want not available by draft. The service has always been excellent and everyone that works here that I’ve interacted with have been very pleasant. Highly recommend.

A sports bar for kids??? That’s what we found when we walked in. Over 30 beers on tap, plenty of TVs tuned to sports, and children everywhere(families, youth league sports teams, etc.). Well, family friendly certainly isn’t a bad sign… … but there’s just a lot about this place that’s incongruent. Like a menu dominated by burgers & sandwiches, yet a seafood raw bar stand sits off to one side inviting an order of freshly shucked oysters(buck-a-shuck on Wed.). This eclectic mix makes it hard to get a handle on the essence of the place. I would guess it has a very different feel depending upon the day/time and crowd. We had the beer-can chicken salad and shrimp tacos. While there was little to complain about, there was little to excite, either. Good service made it a satisfying, above-average experience: B /B– = 3*

I have to give this place 5 stars, as me and my family go every month and we never leave disappointed by either our meal or the service. Incredible tap list, updated by the second on the electric chalk board. Killer small bites like pretzels with killer cheese dip. The burgers are always cooked perfect to order and come out piping hot. Want to eat a little healthier? Try the beer can chicken salad. It is fantastic. It’s not diner cheap, but you get the full experience here with the awesome artwork from all of the great artists in rock and roll and the music is loud enough, but not overpowering the ability to have a conversation either. You can catch local artists performing on some nights too. The only negative is the parking situation Thursday-Sunday evenings. The place is very popular and you may need to park across the road near the other shops. Not a huge deal breaker, just worth mentioning. The place is very large, so I have only had to wait for a table one time on a weekend night and the wait was less than 15 minutes. Very attentive service gets you in and out as quickly as you desire.

I have to say that for this particular location that it is nice to have The Pour House and not a lousy diner. They have a good selection of food, classics and then some. I really like the chili and burgers are also a great choice. Overall, service was good and I would totally visit again. Although stay away from the steamed clams as they are just way too salty and flat in flavors. Also don’t order deviled eggs, I am sure you can make that yourself and better.

Did not expect this gem during my travels. Was in town for business and stopped in as it was next door to my hotel. Environment was upbeat and had a modern pub feel. Beer selection was out of this world! Great things on tap and 100+ on bottles. Food was delicious, had the burger with egg and bacon it, cook temp was as ordered. To top it off the service was great, it must have been a requirement to have a great personality to work there.

Delicious food, kind staff, and relaxing ambiance. Everything about the place is nice from the look to the food. The wait staff is also extremely nice as they checked with cooks to ensure my girlfriend’s food was entirely gluten free. The little things like that can make service from good to becoming a regular. Menu is modern bar food. I am a fan of all his restaurants so far.

I like this place. The only thing that I could find wrong is the music selection. Not my type of music. Lots of different beers if that’s your thing. The menu is pretty big. The appetizers are good, quite a few to choose from. They have oysters and I haven’t had one that’s bad yet. Very good. The burgers are very good — I get one every time I come here. Finally, the service is always good.

This place is really great for lunch. The service is quick and efficient. I ordered a burger which was really good and the shoestring fries were outstanding. I would definitely go back for lunch.

We have heard by many people to try this place out & man were we disappointed. The food wasn’t very good, the service was horrible, our drinks were empty 90% of the meal. We don’t drink so maybe if your drunk the food tastes better?! Who knows! We won’t be returning.

The Pour House is a solid go-to spot for my wife and I when we’re shopping in the Exton area. The service is typically good and the craft beer selection is fantastic. They rotate taps pretty often too, so always something new to try. The restaurant is large so there’s typically not a long wait — even on Fri or Sat nights. Really enjoy the smoked BBQ wings. Tons of flavor and good sized wings. Burgers are solid as well. Nachos were so-so(a bit too much sour cream and not enough cheese for my liking). Overall, standard pub food but they do it well and if you like beer, definitely worth checking out.

I see a lot of fellow Delco Unilocalers making the trek out here for this(yo Jim and Tom). So now that I’ve found it too, let’s get more of Delco out here to judge it. I just found it because I was in Exton after a doctor’s appointment and needed a bite. It seemed like a good idea to come here. I didn’t go special with the beer. I do enjoy the good beers, but this time a Yards Pale Ale worked well for me. But I did splurge on the Second Coming Burger which they tout so heavily. At $ 14.99, which is in the range of what places like Rouge charge for burgers(about $ 3 less currently), I expected something close to greatness. I got goodness at the very least. The burger is insanely juicy, which is a plus. I enjoyed the sauce on it, though I had expectations set for more tomatoes on it as they seem to bury that part of it. The fries that come along with it are nothing terribly special but good enough. I don’t think it’s worth the price they charge. But I’d eat it again if it were handed to me for sure. I do like the atmosphere and the classic rock motif they have going. I’d come back.

My boyfriend and I have come here Many times but every time I find the food to be tasteless he just comes back for the craft beer selection. The bar tenders are nice and the girl We had today was especially sweet and attentive. Overall I like the place but the food is lacking.

I’m a city girl that used to delicious food and neat restaurants in the city of Philadelphia and I was very impressed with this place! The atmosphere is great, its styled very well, great music. On that alone, I would stay here and hang out. In addition, they have a great beer list and food was great. We had a great waitress and a really enjoyable time. This place is a hit in my book.

Great food, friendly service and chill atmosphere! No wait on a weeknight. We got the steak salad, fish tacos, short rib stroganoff and bratwurst and no leftovers. Everyone cleaned their plates off. Unfortunately, did not get a chance to try any of their beers and burgers on this trip but will definitely come back!

What’s not to love about The Pour House? I appreciate a good pun, great beer selection, delicious food, and good looking servers. The Pour House has it all. The bar is huge, there are plenty of TVs, a raw oyster bar, and standing tables near the bar/TVs for larger groups that still want that rowdy bar atmosphere, but can’t fit at the ever-so-popular bar. Rock and Roll flows from the speakers and its paraphernalia decorates the walls. It’s definitely my kind of bar. They have buck-a-shuck($ 1 oysters) Wednesdays and $ 4 beer specials everyday. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. I recommend any of their burgers(try it on a soft pretzel bun) or fish tacos.

Was in the area for work late and decided to try the pour house as it looked jammed and with a name like that I would be able to find good grub and the Guinness I had been craving all day. They were on a 20 minute wait and the hostess staff seemed busy but super friendly. Bar was crammed, but Friday evening, what did I expect… I did not expect to see kids less than 10 years old sitting at the bar during happy hour, bad parenting but the bar shouldn’t allow that anyways. I was able to find a seat at the bar with a good view of a few sports options on tv. Bartenders were quick but told me no Guinness! Damn! So after placing my beer order and taking a look at the menu I end up with the Pour House burger with Vermont cheddar and GUINNESSGRILLEDONIONS. this is peculiar as they do not offer Guinness as a beer option. The burger was grilled right but a bit greasy and the 1 $ up charge shoestring fries were just fries, and not very hot, but they were flavorful. As this place is over an hr from me I probably won’t be back but it is a good option for some good beers and pub grub.

Found myself looking for a place to eat with me and the family. Started from Norristown and ended up in Exton. Don’t ask, it was one of those nights. Got to the Pour House and the wait was 20 minutes but the placed screamed give me a chance. The ladies up front were great. Buzzer went off and we got the booth I asked for to help corral my 5 year old. Crayons followed which were ditched wanting the tablet as the wife and I browsed the menu. Burgers were on the greasy/buttery side. Also, shoestring french fries have no place in a restaurant any longer. Burger was cooked as requested and the roll was fantastic. Just can’t get over the butter though. I think they may have buttered the roll on the grill for a bit. Ordered the Pumpkin beer they had on tap which was served cold. Multiple bartenders but beers were on the slow side. Place was packed with drinkers though. Probably not a stop if your just interested in food. WiFi is on the slow side but available. Staff is great and very professional. This means when it is busy they don’t fall apart or look like they just been through a 15 hour shift. Mainly a craft beer location. Frankly, I can’t recall if they had domestic swill not that I drink that stuff anyway. Bathrooms are on the clean side. Place looks like it can be busy at all times so be prepared to wait a little bit. Outside seating is available.

Decided to have a beer with the wife, so chose the pour house. We were pleasantly surprised when told it was buck a shuck on a Wednesday night. As an oyster fan i was delighted. They had 10 oyster options to choose from. The menu was helpful by having a brief description of each oyster. The Pour House also has an extensive beer menu. They offer about 30 draft beer options as well as, bottle beers. When i ordered a frothy beverage it arrived extremely fast and cold. I didn’t order any food, but sitting next to the kitchen exit gave us a first hand look to all the yummy dishes that came out. The menu offers beer pairing with your dining option. I appreciate that as a beer drinker. I have nothing but a great experience at the Pour House. Hence the 5 stars, if you love beers and love good food options the Pour House is the spot.

Stopped in this past Saturday afternoon. Place was not too busy for a change. Liked the classic rock memorabilia all around the walls — had a Hard Rock Café vibe without guitars hanging in glass cases. Unfortunately, the food had a Hard Rock vibe too. Beer reigns supreme here — over 100 different bottles and roughly 30 on draft. No kolsch choices seemed odd this time of year. But found an ice cold bottle of Brooklyn Lager fit the bill. My lady had the house Chardonnay. It was typical of a house wine. Nothing special. For lunch we started with house made onion rings to share as an appetizer. Very nice choice. Tasted fresh and one of the better onion rings in the area. Next time we will order the sauce on the side. My lady had the beer can chicken salad. Nice big portion. Fresh lettuce. Was happy with her meal. I tried the Second Coming Burger. Supposedly this won some kind of award as Philly’s favorite burger. I demand a recount if this is true. Our waitress didn’t know how they won that honor. The Shake Shack, Five Guys, 500 Degrees, Rouge — these are just a few better burgers in my opinion. Included fries and a pickle. Our server Carolyn was great.
