Tried Timothy’s for the first time tonight. It was okay — nothing was over the top spectacular. The outside seating area is nice with a nice lounge area with couches, etc. Our server was very friendly. I don’t like when bars have a practically nonexistent wine selection. For red, there were only two options– Merlot or Cab and it seemed pretty low shelf. Might go back but only if I’m in the area.

Been back here a couple of times. Still underwhelmed. Generally not impressed with the food. Buffalo chicken flatbread rather plain. My wife and daughter had a salad they really liked on one visit. They both ordered it the next time and both said it was nothing like the previous visit. Consistency is critical when it comes to food. And unfortunately, we’ve felt that the staff was less than friendly and happy to serve us each time we’ve been here. Hope they can up the level of food and service, but we’re in no rush to go back.

This place is average. They have a decent beer selection and just average bar food. The TV’s around the bar area are located at odd places where it’s hard to see them. When you’re sitting at the bar, they are directly overhead, and the ones across the bar on the wall are too high and are cut off by the top of the bar. The place is clean and the waitresses are nice. My biggest complaint is the fact that the bartenders don’t know how to pour a Guinness. They just sit the glass under the tap and let it pour. It would be nice to get a glass where I can drink it right away instead of waiting 20 minutes for it to settle.

Been here a couple of times, it’s close to my job. The food is always good and the service for the most part is good. My favorite dish is the shrimp flatbread, has a little kick to it. Yummy!

This is a very good place. Service is extremely friendly, food is amazing, and the atmosphere is just right. Highly recommended!

The food and sports screens are 5 stars but the music is just way too loud. I don’t like shouting over it and you can’t hear the servers.

Really not good at all. I couldn’t even imagine this food tasting good if I was to drunk to stand. I don’t know who the chefs are but they need to taste their food because it’s absolutely disgusting. I would actually recommend going to the wawa that’s right next to it and get a hoagie, bag of chips and drink and call it a night instead of eating at Timothy’s.

Been here a few times now and each time they get a bit better. Will continue to visit as it looks like the service has improved. Food is your typical bar food with a little flare here and there. Cajun Meatloaf was tasty! We will be back!

Not a fan. Been here three times. Each time, they were out of at least two beers that I ordered from their«updated» beer list. Food is mediocre. Too many other great beer spots in town.

Another great night. Don’t let the negative reviews turn you off. It’s a great staff and they have their legs under them now. Sit at the bar and you won’t find a better place in the area. Thursday’s are trivia. Best I have ever played!

So this is probably the third or fourth time I’ve been here and I’ve only ever had drinks. Drinks are fine – it’s hard to mess up draft beer and cocktails. However this time we decided to have a little bite to eat. The nachos we ordered were below average. The service was great – Taylor was a doll but this place is not a great place for food.

If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve been a waitress for 10 years now. This was absolutely the worst service I’ve ever receieved. This was our first time visiting the establishment. The waitress(Kelly S) was the worst waitress I’ve ever had. There was literally only one other table in the place and it wasn’t hers. It took her a while to come to our table then when she finally did she didn’t know what was on draft and this was due to us putting our order in, my fiancé ordered a drink and she had to check if they had it. Please understand she came to our table drop chips and waters off said shell be back(took literally like 6 minutes until i looked over and she was hanging out at the bar talking) then she asked for the drink order, didnt know what was on draft and this took forever. They ended up having his but not mine. This whole process of getting just our drinks took 23 minutes!!! Literally. Because she came to our table like 4 different times. We attempt to place our order, while we are placing it they were out of a total of 4 of the items we wanted and there was only three of us. One being the mozzarella fritta… how are you out of mozzarella sticks. We asked for a minute. We decided we didn’t want to give this establishment our money so we asked for the check which included two beers and one soda. The check came with 3 beers(including the one they didn’t have) and one soda. Not that long of a receipt to review. We told her she gave a lame apology and came back. I will never visit this establishment again.

I’ve reviewed this restaurant before. It looks like they’ve tried to try again. Decent food. Not great service. Avoid.

New restaurant. My coworkers wanted to try this place. We came in a group of 9. They have a lot of space. It looks like they have a full bar. They have lots of tvs for sports. I got an order of sweet potatoe fries and a bowl of shrimp and seafood chowder. The chowder was a little grainy for my taste. The sweet potatoe fries were decent.

Might be time for new management, we ordered sweet potato fries and there was a hair in them. When we mentioned it to our server he said he was very sorry. When the manager came to ask us about the fries he first said«I heard you had a problem with your fries» we said yeah there was a hair in them but it’s no big deal we just wanted to make you aware of the situation. He says«oh what color was the hair? Cause none of our cooks have long hair. I’m thinking it might have been one of yours» Really? I have never in my 39 years been to any food establishment that has not had the manager apologize and ask to replace the food with no question let alone accuse the customer for any reason. By the way we were charged for the fries. Won’t be returning.

When the neighborhood gets a new neighbor, you visit them. That is what my friend and I did. We decided to visit Timothy and we sat bar side to enjoy some adult beverages. When we sat down there were 2 bartenders working for about 20 guest. You would think that is a favorable ratio. Nope! Most of to time our pint were empty. There is nothing worst that having an uninterested bartender. If that wasn’t bad enough. When they finally grabbed our empty pints to refill. Our cold beers we left under the taps as the bartender turned his attention elsewhere. This practice was done several frustrating times. Ok, when you have a few drinks. You tend to get a bit hungry. We ordered the crabby fries and the buffalo wings. A safe bet we thought. We were distracted talking over some adult beverages. But we noticed our food did not arrived. When the bartender finally arrived with our order. The crabby fries were soggy and cold. If that wasn’t bad enough. Our fries appeared to have an entire jar of old bay seasoning dumped on top. Yuck!!! The wings were also somewhat cold. Not as hot as you expect it to be coming out of a frier. Just as the bartenders failed to realize our glasses were empty. They also failed to realize our order was up. This is definitely not the service I expect from a newly opened restaurant. It is safe to say that I will not be patronizing Timothy again.

This night I was with my lovely wife on a date and we wanted to try some place we haven’t been before. We heard that this new place called Timothy’s just opened up and we thought that it would be fun to try the place out. To our surprise it was Timothy’s grand opening. Let’s just say it was a bit crazy. We get there and luckily I called early in the morning to put my name in for a 6:00 arrival. They do not take reservations but they do accept call aheads. We were sat down on a hightop table near the outside doors. It was a bit cold because as the grand opening there was a bouncy house and a ton of kids within the place. They kept going in and out of the doors. That was not the restaurants fault but is was a bit annoying. Besides the door situation my wife and I were sitting at our table for about 6 to 10 minutes before anyone came up to us and served us. Luckily, our server Amber came to our rescue. She noticed that no one had helped us so she took the initiative and took charge. Thank god she took the initiative. I understand that a grand opening can cause issues so we will just call it a first big night glitch. Again thank god for Amber, she was a gem(Diamond) as a server. She was right on top of what was going on. We started with a 12 piece order of boneless wings with their original sauce. To our joy when the wings came out they were plump and meaty. They weren’t overly breaded and they were cooked to perfection. Not overly crisp and very juicy. The sauce had just the right amount of spice that didn’t overpower the taste of the chicken. They were a pleasure to eat. We both enjoyed them the only improvement would be the blue cheese dressing could have had more blue cheese flavor. The next thing that Amber was on top of, was the available food available for the night. My wife ordered Autumn Chicken and i initially ordered the Prime Rib. Amber, wanted to check to see if the Prime Rib was available for the Grand Opening. A good thing she did because it was not being served that evening. So I ordered the Rosemary and Garlic Chicken When we received our entries we were pleased with the portion and plating. The Autumn Chicken was out of this world. It was grilled chicken breast with an apple. butternut squash and cinnamon chutney with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The chutney and the chicken breast was a great combination. The chutney accentuated and not over powered the chicken. It also helped keep the chicken moist. The potatoes were flavored well and the asparagus was seasoned well. On the other hand my rosemary and Garlic Chicken was a bit bland. I had to add salt to bring the flavor out of the chicken. Once I added the salt the dish came alive. The chicken was moist and once salted it brought out the rosemary and garlic to give a beautiful combination. Again it was paired with Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. The dish came around and was very enjoyable. We also have two glasses of wine I have the Zin and my wife had the Chard. The wine was a bit pricey compared to the plethora of beers. If you are an avid beer drinker you will have fun at Timothy’s, also they have TVs everywhere. I can’t wait for Football season to come to watch at Timothy’s. I would recommend you try Timothy’s. The food is good and it is a fun place to watch sports. I am looking forward to try it again when it is not the grand opening.

If you’re more apt to drink your lunch/dinner or be awestruck by 99 beers on the wall, then Timothy’s might not be your best bet. But if you’re longing to get back to the basics done spot-on, a «go to» place for regular occasions, then here’s your place! From the moment I stepped through the front door, I felt very welcome. Despite having just opened, it was abundantly obvious that the entire staff was focused on one thing, the CUSTOMER! The hostess was very friendly, organized and courteous, offering us a couple of seating options versus just dumping us wherever she saw fit. Our waitress did a fantastic job in explaining their soft open and was very accommodating and kept us abreast of everything despite being busy. To our surprise, after dropping off our drinks, another waiter dropped by with free chips and dip even though we ordered just sandwiches. And to wrap up our experience, the manager on duty dropped by to make sure everything met or exceeded our expectations. The establishment is outfitted with big screens on every wall playing a wide range of sports(I never understood why some places have a zillion TVs all set to the same station, senseless). Having Saint Joseph’s basketball on one screen was enough to tip the scales to 5 Stars! I would also say they’re quite a family friendly atmosphere given the clientele. While there weren’t any surprises on the menu, what they offer they do extraordinarily well. I ordered a flat bread which turned out to be very filling and went very well with my Hop Devil beverage! Others had burgers that were cooked exactly to order and surrounded by a heaping side of fries. Again, traditional but done perfectly! To top off the experience, and to non-locals this is irrelevant, but it’s location is great because you don’t have to deal with mall traffic or the hassle of finding parking! All in all, a great place when you’re just looking to go out for dinner :-) We can’t wait for the outdoor seating area to open!!!
