My favorite pizza made by some of my favorite people. Had a cheesesteak slice today that was pretty amazing along with the classic pepperoni. I no longer live in the area but I always come back when I visit a couple times a year.

Solid local pizza. Friendly family run establishment. Love the chicken parm hero and a pizza well done with mushrooms. Great buffalo wings!

My favorite for pizza and subs in the area. No frills but good food and friendly service. A true neighborhood institution.

I recently tried this place at the recommendation of my husband and I have to say I was so happy to go there… They make you feel just like family and the food is absolutely amazing… possibly the best pizza that I have ever eaten, I would easily recommend this place to anyone in need of some amazing Italian food

Not just excellent pizza! Phenomenal Italian food in the dinning room in the back, a must try if you’re in the area!

Love the pizza and the staff. Friendly and family-oriented. They are all from Italy so you know you get the real thing!

Excellent pizza. I’ve lived in or around Red Bank since I was born and discovered Umbertos in 2008. New Corner in Red Bank, and Gianni’s in Little Silver and Red Bank are OK, but Umbertos makes better pizza. As to hours, they’re here every night long after the franchise places close.

Umberto’s is a wonderful pizza restaurant with fantastic staff. We recently had a bridal shower here and they took such good care of the guests, clearing plates when needed and refilling drink pitchers. They helped set up everything and helped clean up after us, which was not really required of them. I would highly recommend Umberto’s to anyone who loves great pizza and friendly people!

@Liam Porta and Undici is artisian pizza, which is way different than a traditional«pizza place» pizza, duh. And I’ve had Sea Brights pizza, and it’s gross. «Fartbertos» omg are you 12? clearly.

This is by far one of the worst pizza restaurants in this area. The staff is rude, they close at whatever time is convenient for them rather than what time their website lists. Their restaurant is dirty and their prices are steep. With all the options in the Red Bank area you’re much better going somewhere else.

Umberto’s pizza is definitely a Fair Haven staple, but basically because there isn’t another option in town. Personally, I would rather drive the extra five minutes to New Corner, but if you need something closer in a pinch, Umbertos works. There pizza is fresh(most of the time) and reasonably priced. I wouldn’t recommend venturing too far from pizza and calzones on the menu.

I was visiting from Boston and when we walked into Umbertos I dismissed it as another pizzaria. I’ve heard the pizza was very good but there were 7 of us and we all wanted different things. The surly hostess/owner brought us to the back where we were seated at tables covered with paper table cloths — I began to wonder what kind of food we would get. The owner’s surly demeanor quickly became charming and we placed our orders. The food came and I was blow away; I found the food reminiscent of my childhood when all the Italian ladies would get together in their smocks and roll out pasta. The sauce was tasty, and the penne with vodka sauce was scrumptious. Not to mention the pizza was spectacular. Great prices and great food — I couldn’t figure out why the place was empty!
