I am a Dutch regular and understand waiting is fairly normal at every location, but today… 30 minutes for incorrect coffee was a little over board. My husband does not have the patience for chatting with friends at the window instead of moving the line along and serving the rest of the line. This seems to be an issue at this location as it happens often when I come here. Guess I will stick to the Granite Bay location and forgo coffee on my days off :(Still love Dutch anyways

wow! This place made my day! I will definitely come back! The DB Crew were all very helpful, kind and made a great coffee. I had needed something cold coming from my work with a broken a/c unit same with my car(first world problems right?). I pulled up to the window and asked what cold drink would be good for a hot-mess? Alaina at the window said she had just the thing. The inside crew got to work & Alaina & I had a pleasant conversation! Then what magically appeared was this icy cold beverage that tasted divine. Thanks for making my day! looking forward to coming back!

It’s official, I am addicted to Dutch Bro’s! I have a new baby and run on barely any sleep. So, I often go on, «Dutch Runs» with my little one. The staff is young, energetic, positive, and friendly, and loves to blast some morning tunes which is good because this little drive thru gets slammed. I also had no idea there was a «secret menu». I order«The cookie». I have no idea what exactly is in it… Crack? But it’s a sweet drink with espresso. I recommend! Don’t forget to get a stamp card for your drinks. You get a free one after so many purchases and the kiddos there love to hook it up! I haven’t been to any other locations because this one is closest to where I live, but I have driven part other ones. This location to me seems like an ideal spot considering the amount of patrons this establishment attracts. DB keep on doin what you do. Help me stay sane!

I had a coffee at Dutch Bros. It was the Worst Coffee I have ever had!!! Which is pretty bad, because the coffee at church is pretty bad, it tastes like coffee grounds and water, YUCK!

I would’ve given this one star, but I know the reason for my bad review is purely subjective and based on preference. I came here for coffee. They gave me a large cup filled with what I think is just syrup and ice. Way way waaaaay too sweet to call this«coffee.» Yipes, never again.

Very friendly and fast service. I had never been before and because I heard they were donating to Orangevale Pony Ball I decided to go check them out! They explained everything to me and I enjoyed my new coffee, even has my husband hooked now too!

Amazing coffee, iced green teas, and the staff really makes it worth stopping by. They greet you with a smile and treat you very welcoming. Consistently a great quality, as well as having a reasonable price. Growing up with intestinal issues, I have not been able to enjoy coffee with out a coat, but one of the staff introduced me to white coffee. It has a lower acid content and doesn’t put me in pain for hours. My daily has become a white mocha, add cherry flavor with the white. Often the line is long, but the staff meets you at your car and will quickly get you through. There are also some tasty muffin tops.

A coffee shop that doesn’t serve regular coffee?! The specialty drinks taste too sweet, like liquid candy with a splash of mediocre, weak espresso. Dutch Bros is overrated and obnoxious — their customers block the flow of parking lot traffic, totally oblivious to the needs of other drivers. Put your smart phone down, park your car, find some self-awareness, and walk to the window, lazy fatties!

Love coming here but today the music outside was extremely loud. I asked for it to be turned down while we were here and that did not happen. There was about 12 of us outside … Needless to say, disappointed.

We stopped by the drive thru a few weeks back to pick up some gift cards. We were helped by Jennifer. While at the window we decided to try it out and figure out what the hype was about. Jennifer took a few moments to get to know us and give a little treat for our dog in the car. Our dog enjoyed the little treat. She made a suggestion to try out the white coffee white denominator a rather. It was a later night and we didn’t want to overdo on coffee tastes. The drink was made in a good time. It was cold, sweet and as she described. Good open late, friendly and quick staff. Bad not in my neighborhood. Overall great first experience. Definitely made me a fan.

I am a big fan of the coffee and this specific location is the best. The drive thru is on both sides and when they are busy, the staff comes out and takes orders to make it speedier. I really prefer Dutch Bros over most of the local alternative coffee places like Starbucks, La Bou and Panera. My favorite drink is the hot chocolate mocha — yummy and the morning boost that I need. The employees are overall really nice and good at their jobs. I am rating this a 4 because every now and then my change is not given back correctly. I either get too much or too little back.

I’m not a coffee kind of person, so my review is based solely on my experience with their hot chocolate and Italian sodas. About a year ago I ordered hot chocolate and asked how they made it. Maybe I didn’t hear the guy correctly, but he said it’s make with chocolate milk and then they add whip cream on the top. I like chocolate and all, but when I drank it I thought the drink was sickly sweet and difficult to enjoy. I love making Italian sodas at home, but sometimes when one is on the road it’s easier to have someone make it for you. The first time I ordered an Italian soda I came back to this location twice because the drink was too sweet. I now know to ask for ½ strength of the syrup. My biggest issue is with their policy concerning ice. Feel free to look at my pictures and see what I’m talking about. I asked why they put so much ice in it(«light on the ice please») and have been repeatedly told that they always put«that much» in it. They don’t use a soda gun, but rather individual cans of seltzer/soda water and therefore, they would have to open 1.5−2 cans if they didn’t fill up the cups with a ton of ice. $ 3.25 is way too much for a $ 0.25 can of seltzer water, a dash of syrup, and a boatload of ice.

The family was so happy that a Dutch Bros opened so close to home. Its proximity to Bella Vista high school is another plus. Always excellent coffee and blended drinks.

9.8.15 — I haven’t been to this one in a while so I thought I’d give it a try. Staff is definitely better than I remember but the coffee was still the same. I ordered a med kicker w/an extra shot & it tastes like hot, steamed milk. :( Auburn’s DB is def better tasting. 3stars bc the staff is definitely better than I remember.

***UPDATE*** After I left the original bad review the service has gotten better and faster!!! Idk if there was just a training gap or lack of organization but it’s better now. I do like Dutch bros coffee and my husband and I used to love coming here. Recently every time we go it’s a huge disappointment. Customer service has really gone down, and they’re so SLLLOOOOOOOOWWWWW now. I did have an incident recently where clearly one of employees friends was in line(most of the employees came out of the building and were joking and laughing with this guy-in the drive thru line) I waited 15 minutes(second up to the window) for the employees to stop chatting and joking with this guy as 4 other cars drove by on the other side. I was very annoyed and told the employee who was completely rude and said well«were busy so…»

This is one of my fave locations. There lines are long but they get you through pretty fast. They always have someone outside talking to you to keep the time going. The drinks come out correct each time. Definitely recommend this location in a hurry

I work in Folsom, which is only 10 minutes away from this DB, so it’s pretty convenient for me to get here. The employees are always friendly and full of energetic as this is the 2nd day in a row I’ve visited here. They are fast, effecient and makes my drinks on point! I’ll definitely be a regular here. There are two sides of the drive-through as well as 2 walk up windows, make sure if one of the drive thru line is long to drive around the loop to the other window as I have done that each time and it sped me up 2 cars faster. Unfortunately, they didn’t have a sign to direct that, but now you know so be wise about it if there is an abundance of cars in line on one side.

I don’t know what to think of this place sometimes. I do like the flavor and options of the coffee but it seems like it is geared towards very young folk. My Mom won’t go there without me. She said she feels intimidated. Anyway, we went this morning. Got up to the window and some gal making drinks shouted out«Can someone go to the window and take the ladies order?». This very young girl walks up and says, «Has anyone taken your order yet?». I say, «No». So I tell her what we want. Two of the Caramalizers(one hot, one on ice). She asks if I want the iced one blended … I repeat … no I want it «on ICE». She tells us the total is $ 7.50. We give her a $ 20.00 and she hands us 12.00 change. And so I ask my Mom, didn’t she say $ 7.50? My Mom is old, I will give you all that, but she was like I am pretty sure she did. So I ask, didn’t you say it was $ 7.50? The gal says yes, so I ask her where the extra .50 cents change is. Then she gets all beligerant saying I didn’t give her a $ 50.00 bill. I said, no you don’t understand. I gave you a 20 … if it was 7.50 our change would be 12.50. Her response is, and I am not kidding«I just figured I’d leave it in the drawer … unless you asked for it back». I am a bartender. You never assume you get a tip … And trust I tip everytime I go here, sh*t I even tip at starbucks and sometimes fast food places(if they allow me to). But don’t just steal it and try to argue with me. And seriously, turn down the music. It’s annoying. If you can’t hear me its on too loud. I’ll give it another try. When, IDK, but for now I am sticking with Starbucks.

Only had it twice, but I like it! It was a bit too sweet(tell them you dont like it sweet) but the people there are awesome always great suggestion and very friendly. Cant wait until the Elk Grove, Ca location opens. Love the fact I dont have to get out of my car. Had the 911 and had me up all night. Great tasting coffee.
