My daughter has taken piano lessons from Jamin for 2 ½ years (she is currently 12 years old). She absolutely loves going to her weekly lesson and is learning very cool musical skills such as how to change the key of a favorite song (to fit her vocal range since she loves to sing while she plays).
She loves getting to pick her songs each week and stays motivated to practice!

We are using the the words «piano lessons» and «fun» in the same sentence at our house. My son has taken lessons for a little over a month at this point and can’t wait for lesson day.
I forced my son to take formal lessons after watching him figure out a handful of pieces on his own at the piano. Obviously he was not happy when I drug him to the first meeting with Jamin. Jamin approached my son with enthusiasm and interest in the epic movie soundtracks that he loves and soon had a beginning level arrangement of Daredevil in his hands. When my son has questions during the practice week, he calls Jamin and receives a prompt answer.

We love Jamin! He’s a wonderful music teacher and mentor for my kids. He’s also so easy to work with. We take in– studio lessons, and my kids love going for their lessons!

Jamin is an excellent piano teacher and my two love how he teaches him. We have been going to Jamin for two years and they remain motivated as he helps them pick contemporary songs they are very interested in. He records the lessons, broadcasts the recitals and before you get home you have feedback on how the lesson went.

A little about me — I’ve played drums for most of my life, with over 20 years of playing experience. I’ve tried (and quit) piano lessons in the past.
I’ve been a student with Learn Piano Live and Jamin Coller for about 5 months now taking piano lessons and I understand they offer training /​lessons for other instruments (guitar, etc)
Working with them has been a great experience for me as an adult piano student/​learner. Having a music teacher who is tech savvy, offers web lessons, and allows me to record my training for later review is a major benefit.
If you are looking for a friendly, skilled piano and music theory teacher and live in the area, you are very lucky to have Jamin and team at your service. Even if you don’t live in the area, the ability to take personal training over the internet (which I use on occasion) is both very convenient and quite effective.
Lastly, regarding their approach to teaching, Jamin & Learn Piano Live provide a great teaching approach that actually works. In a relatively short amount of time, I’m playing and learning music that I actually want to play, much more than I ever thought possible.
