This place is located in small strip mall off the main drag, but worth the effort to find. The donuts are good and always fresh, there is a good selection to choose from. Prices are reasonable.

Abbey’s Trash Donuttery is a strongly-worded abomination wrapped in the filth of the surrounding Fairborn area. If I could give negative 1000 stars, I absolutely would. The exterior of this disgusting establishment is entirely representative of the cesspool within. There is so little space for donuts that I can’t even begin to fathom why they didn’t just rent the closet space of the building they inhabit; at least then fewer people would be curious enough to wander over to this place. This is the most Fairborn place that has ever existed. If Fairborn had a face, this place would be it. And I would punch it. The most glaring atrocity this ridiculous excuse for a donut shop committed is not the outrageous attempt at spelling«Abby,» but the fact that they DONOTEVENOBSERVETHEIROWNPOSTEDHOURS. I drove from Huber Heights to pick up these horrible inner tubes of filth before work. I arrived just after 7AM. I take a look at the well-lit, clearly-posted hours sign. It lets me know that Abbey’s is open from 6AM to 12PM on Friday. There is another basically illegible sign written by what must have been a pterodactyl that read, «We will be closed March 22nd — 26th Happy Easter.» Please note that I added the period and that there was no punctuation at all. It’s 7AM, well within their hours of operation, and there’s absolutely nobody behind the counter, in the back, or in the parking lot. There’s no tell-tale smell of donuts, either, so it doesn’t even seem like they HAD been open previously and had just sold out of donuts. It appears that they just did not open. I looked to their website for an explanation. Paralleling their in-store availability, there was NOTHINGTHERE — not even the shell of an old AngelFire page. I checked for a Facebook or Twitter page. Nada. It appears like Abbey’s Donuts is straight up ghosting in real life and on the web. I was so flabbergasted that I actually checked my phone to MAKESURE I HADN’T BEENROOFIEDANDLOSTTRACKOFELEVENDAYSOFMYLIFE. It was most definitely March 11th, 2016 at 7:14AM. My only explanation is that whoever wrote the sign actually meant«March 11nd» instead of «March 22nd.» This is not a comforting thought, since I like to imagine that most business owners know the abbreviation for the suffix of «eleventh» is «th,» not«nd.» This is especially concerning since the number one has no squiggles in it. Maybe this was a practical joke. Or maybe Abbey really WAS there with her donuts, but she needed help because she’d slipped on some grease in the back. Maybe I was having a bad luck week like in Animal Crossing; I HAD fallen into a lot of holes. No. I lost an hour worth of sleep to visit a donut shop where the owner just decided not to show up for work. Anyway, if you’d like a donut shop with delicious donuts available ALLDAYWITHOUTFAIL, visit Bill’s Donuts. They even have a website.

Very few donuts to choose from. The place completely wreaked of smoke. It smelled like an old dirty bar. Disgusting! Will never go back. No matter how bad their donuts are I wouldn’t lick them and I do love America. I just love America from another donut shop!

I came to Abbey’s because another local donut shop didn’t have their donuts in yet. It was 7am and I was buying donuts for a meeting at work. The lady behind the counter was super nice. I told her what I needed and she gave me one of every donut there(the ones without crème or anything). I got 14 delicious and fresh donuts for less than $ 10. Wow! If you need a good donut, give this place your business. TIP: Cash or check only. No cards.

Oh, dear… another place to ruin my eating habits. A friend told me how good the donuts are here, so stopped by to buy a few. The chocolate cream filled are wonderful; you know how sometimes you bite into a filled doughnut and there’s just a bit of filling? This was filled all the way across the interior of the doughnut; almost tasted like buttercream. The apple fritter I bought for my husband is huge and the cake donuts look yummy as well. Way better than Tim Horton’s and about the same price. Support your local businesses!
