Worst experience of my life. The guys were extremely rude. No wonder why America runs on Dunkin. Some one needs to teach them how to talk to customers. Avoid this coffee place at all times.

Stopped in after church today for the first time in years. We moved out of the local area and returned this summer. We placed our order and was not told how we receive it. Since the place was getting crowded we moved out of the way for the next customer and found a place to sit down. Next, we were reprimanded by the cashier that she couldn’t find us and handed over our latte. I apologized and explained I didn’t know what to do. I was ignored as she helped the next customer. I went down to the left of the counter and explained I didn’t know how to get my order. The two bagels I had ordered were given but I was told to go back to my original cashier to get the doughnuts we had ordered. I stood there ignored as the cashiers were helping other customers and once I got the attention of another person explained I hadn’t received our doughnuts. The original cashier remarked rather sarcastic«you’ve never been here before?» I was irritated at this point and I’m not sure when if ever I’ll go back.

Tim Hortons has really stepped up their breakfast game! They’ve always had the best coffee. Now they have awesome new bagel and sandwich additions. Italian Asiago cheese bagel? Yes please! While this location was prompt and quick to complete my order, my bagel wasn’t nearly toasted and the outside of the bagel holder(they didn’t put it in a paper bag) was covered in butter. I’m fine not having an additional bag, I just wish it wasn’t greasy with butter when I set it down in my car. I do feel bad because the drive through is so long during morning rush hour that it flows into street traffic and I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some jams. Also, I get it Starbucks Coffee decided to have these baby sized small cups but I wish Tim’s didn’t do it to. It’s like Medium sized coffee is the new small. Whatever.

This is the best location I have visited in Dayton. They have the best donut holes and donuts. Good hot chocolate too. I love the candy cane one in winter. Looking forward to the frozen hot chocolate in summer again too! They almost always have my bow tie chicen noodle soup. The others never do. They also carry my favorite pumpkin spice donut holes and donuts far longer than there others do. Thank you!

Fastest drive thru I’ve ever been to. You don’t even have time to get your money ready before they’re handing you your food at the window. There’s only been a couple times when ordering donuts by the dozens that they haven’t had enough and I’ve had to wait for them to make them. I know they’re probably just trying to save money, but I like how they try and conserve what they hand out, things that are usually just thrown out or never even really missed in the first place. You don’t get a huge, overaized bag if you order a beagle or donut, you just get the beagle wrapped in a tiny sleeve. And if you order a coffee, they don’t give you a sleeve unless you ask for one. you also don’t get a ginormous stack of napkins, you get a couple. The hippy in me likes this.

Tim Hortons’ coffee, bagels, and donuts are consistently good. I generally use the drive-through and my order is always correct. The service at the Huber Heights store varies greatly. A few employees make efforts to smile and interact with customers, while others seem to want to get your order and be rid of you as soon as possible. The young lady at the counter inside last week acted totally annoyed to be there. One of my kids wanted a white hot chocolate which is clearly listed on the menu, and she cut us off saying that they don’t have that, then just stood there starting at us. When I pointed out that it was on the menu, she then explained that it was not available now while they had holiday flavors. OK.. how would we know that? I’m going to assume she either didn’t feel well or was having a bad day… but still, she didn’t win any marks for customer service in my book.

I love to give good reviews and give people the benefit of the doubt, this time, sadly, it’s not possible. I was not feeling well last night and soup was the only thing that sounded good. My husband went to Tim Hortons to get some potato soup. Well, it must have been the end of the pot, because it looked and tasted like it was 99 per cent water added to maybe a couple tablespoons of soup they had left. There was no potatoes in it, not even one little hunk and they didn’t even add anything but pure water. It was totally watery and absent of any flavoring, except water. I guess you can tell I was shocked. Still am. Hard to believe anyone would treat their customers this way. Well, of course he tried to call at around 9:00pm. No answer. Their website says they are open 24 hours. Never answered. Today, he took the soup back to let them see exactly what we received. The girl, manager(?)‘s response. I’m sorry and gave him his price of the soup back. Nothing in the way of trying to restore customer confidence or good relations. We weren’t looking for free food, just some accountability and maybe learn something from what happened. I know we won’t go there again. It’s a shame. Most of our experiences eating out are good. If you have a problem, it helps when management and staff act genuinely sorry and don’t make you feel like you did something wrong. We had an occasion once where we got carry out, got home and it was incomplete and when we called about it, the manager on duty delivered the missing items and gave us a gift certificate. It made an impression, and we still talk about it years later. Sometimes how you are treated makes more of an impression than the actual food.

Kudos to management for selection and training of their staff at this location. On our long journey, we stopped at 3:30AM and were greeted by cheerful and helpful staff. We wanted coffee and a few donuts and the very polite(and very busy) young man asked us if we can wait a couple minutes as he had to make them. The coffee was delightful and the donuts fresh as can be. What a difference from the State St/Polaris Parkway location!

Cheap and cheerful, tasty breakfast sandwiches and strong coffee — what’s not to like?! Try a box of mixed timbits, they’re divine!

Usually, I’m underwhelmed when I enter a Tim Horton’s in the Dayton area. I expected the worst but I was surprised. There were two people near the cash registers, and some perky blonde woman started talking with me about what I wanted.(Now, I really wanted a roast beef or pastrami panini, but they don’t have those.) I got my usual smoked ham and cheese panini on multi-grain bread. Their multi-grain is better than their other breads, and I don’t like bread. That and a drink came to $ 6.00+, which isn’t bad if you consider Panera Bread where you get a cold, tasteless slice of meat and a slice of cheese with uninspired bread for more than that. At least, that’s what I got at that other place. When I got the sandwich, the bread was a bit too toasted, i.e. black on the edges, for my taste but it didn’t have a burnt taste and I wasn’t going to wait for another in any case. They really need to take care of what the customers see. The glass at the counter was dirty and the appliances and bins behind the glass were dirty or greasy. I’m not talking about a health hazard, but a visual hazard. No one should see a food preparation area look like that.

Tim Horton’s is a chain of restaurants which provide the exact same food at every location. This said, it’s delicious. But if you’ve been to a Tim Horton’s this is definitely one of them. If you haven’t, give it a shot. Dunkin Donuts for Canadians; Tim Horton’s coffee and doughnuts are great stuff.

Needed some protein this morning on my travels and stopped in here. The breakfast combo for $ 4.39 is a pretty good deal; I had the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit with coffee and a donut. You have choices here as to the drink and side, unlike McDonald’s. The biscuit is a decent size; the McDs has been shrinking of late. I do wish they would supply those bands on the coffee cups again; too hot to handle at first!
