I worked the coffee scene in LA and I have to say that this place competes with some of ours at home. Their Wood Burl and Counter Culture beans are always fantastic and the employees are SONICE. I’ve also had their breakfast sandwiches and I think they are great. We always make sure to stop by when we are home visiting our families.

Driving from Chillicothe to South Bend on a Sunday. We stopped here for lunch with our kids, 5 and 1. It’s an easy on-off from the highway for a quick lunch. Service was fast and friendly We had three sandwiches, plus a special sandwich they made to order for my son.(Tomato and arugula on toast. They got him to eat arugula! He says, «I liked it _a lot_.») All the food was excellent! The menu has a lot of favors for a vegetarian, even if you don’t choose the sandwich named ‘The Vegetarian’. We can’t speak to the coffee, but it looked like they knew what they were doing. We had black mint iced tea and a chai latte. The black mint was especially good! The space was open and our kids being rowdy didn’t seem to bother anyone, but there were quiet spaces, and people seemed to like using the space to work.(Also, very clean bathrooms!) If we lived around here, we’d go frequently.

Here for business, on the way back to the airport figured I would stop for breakfast. Looking at the other reviews I figured this would be a good place to try. The previous reviews are 110% correct, this place is very comfortable and reminds me of home cooked meals, the staff is very helpful and I would recommend this to anyone that wants a cup of coffee/tea and a quick bite to eat!!!

I can’t count the number of times I’d passed Warehouse 4 Coffee on my way down to Miller Lane or any number of other places in North Dayton. And, pretty much every time, I’d remark on it and then promptly forget to stop. That, friends, was a mistake. Warehouse 4 is about as ‘hipster’ as it gets. Reclaimed wood, local art, a young staff rife with tattoos, piercings, and skinny jeans, but the shop and their items speak for themselves. W4 features lovely chairs, a great ambiance, and one of the most delicious panini sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Coupled with Coke in glass bottles and some really tasty oatmeal raisin cookies, and you’ve got yourself an affordable, delicious lunch. The coffee at W4 comes in numerous varieties, ranging from the Starbucks regulars(mochas, machiatto, latte, etc) to brew-styles I’d never even heard of. While I’m familar with Turkish coffee, many of the African styles they were selling were news to me entirely. I’ll be eager to give one of those a shot the next time I swing by! For a quick bite in a relaxed, modern environment, there are few places better than Warehouse 4. Enjoy some joe!

Warehouse 4 is an awesome coffee shop located randomly in Vandalia. Yes, there are a few cool things in Vandalia. This is one of them. This coffee shop is a decent sized place, it’s not as small as it looks on the outside from the front. It’s very chill inside and always has a variety of all different types of people in it. It’s not just like a hipster hangs out like a lot of smaller coffee shops tend to be. The staff is super nice and friendly. They make great coffee here. They also have awesome sandwiches and breakfast pastries. I had a badass blueberry muffin that was delicious. They have Ale 8 here which is amazing. Everything is priced fairly and you get great coffee and food for a great price. My suggestion if you visit Warehouse 4 is park in the back of the building. If you park infront of the building it’s REALLY hard to get out onto the main road because of traffic.

Absolutely love this place. The food, coffee and tea are wonderful! Definitely the best establishment in Dayton. A bit far out of town but completely worth the drive. The space is also unique and interesting. I love the big windows and drafting tables, and lots of outlets! The owner and staff did a great job furnishing/decorating the place and creating a welcoming environment. We will easily drive the 35 minutes to get food and coffee from here, even though we have at least 4 other decent options within a 10 minute drive. W4 reminds me of the coffee establishments in Columbus Short North/Downtown areas. My husband orders their pour-over and traditional macchiato, and I get an Americano with a touch of chocolate. The grill closes at 2. Make sure you get there early enough to try their sandwiches. Delicious!

love this place !!! First time i ever had a pour over. A pour over is a coffee, the hot water is literally poured over ground coffee beans, the coffee flavor can be manipulated by the way the beans are ground, the temperature of the water and the speed of the pour for a cleaner fuller tasting coffee. I chose the Ethiopian bean. LOVEIT ! The atmosphere is awesome, great music playing, staff is super friendly. If you need a place for a meet and greet, this is it.

So I found myself in Dayton and this was my first stop. We were looking for coffee and this popped up. Driving up to it, it looked very unassuming and then when you go in, boom! Tons of space! Adam was our barista and recommended lots of great options. I had the white chocolate hazelnut«something» and it was probably one of the best coffee drinks I’d ever had ever. I didn’t get a chance to visit again before my trip ended, but maybe I can try to have some of that coffee sent to me… somehow. Do you guys send orders to California? No joke: blue/purple bag that has the stone fruit in it. That’s what was in my coffee, right?

Stopped in as I was in town for work and always enjoy any kind of coffee and I hate chain places. Got an Italian sandwich and a latte. Every one was very friendly and the food and coffee were delicious what more could you ask for. Lots of seat just far enough apart to allow everyone to be cozy. I will gladly stop in again when in town.

Easily the best coffee in Dayton! The people, environment, and coffee holds a quality rare to be found anywhere else in Dayton. Unlike most coffee shops in the area, Warehouse 4 is in no way cramped. Absolutely 5 stars for this place, the quality of coffee and people make this coffee house unmatched!

This is easily the best coffee shop in the Dayton area, and no one ever talks about it, probably due to location. Works out for me since I live close to the airport so running to the more trendy spots for good coffee isn’t really in the cards for me. First off, their coffee is fantastic. They make most of their syrups in house… make sure to check this place out in the fall when they have their pumpkin spice latte. It’s made with real pumpkin purée, and it tastes like you’re drinking a pumpkin pie. It’s freakin’ amazing. I haven’t had a bad coffee there yet. High quality, absolutely great coffee. Secondly, their food is delicious. They make awesome sandwiches with great bread and quality ingredients. They can also make any of their sandwiches into a salad if you’re trying to avoid bread. The Italian sandwich turned into a salad is amazing. Overall, this place is a must try. It’s hidden away in Vandalia, which isn’t really a part of town that you go to unless you have a reason… but Warehouse 4 is a reason to go to Vandalia. Make it happen.

Hey! Decent, local coffee! Thank god! Warehouse 4 is a diamond in a sea of Winan’s and Kroger Starbucks. Which are decent. If your idea of a good cup of coffee is some sort of blended milkshake stuff. They have Counter Culture Beans that are very light in taste and not bitter, which appeals to a lot of palates, including mine. I wish their espresso was a tiny bit stronger, but my Americano still tasted absolutely fantastic, especially after I’ve been torturing myself with terribly burnt espresso shots from the«bucks that shall not be named». They offer Soy, Almond, AND Coconut Milk(!!) dairy alternatives, and I almost died and went to heaven. I can’t wait to try a coconut milk latte. However, their mocha syrup is not vegan and that bummed me out a tiny bit. They also don’t have much in the way of vegan food options, and offer sandwiches and salads. I’m sure it’d be very easy for me to add or remove certain things from the food offerings, though, as the employees are very sweet and helpful. I dream of finding vegan gluten-free food options one day soon. The shop itself is very large and very clean. There’s plenty of room to sit and read, or do some work on laptops. They offer free wifi, and every time I’ve been in I see people sitting quietly and working away. They seem to have a very loyal customer base, and greet regulars with smiles and light conversation. I felt very welcomed and nostalgic for my coffee places back in Richmond. I’ve also spoken with the owner, and very sweet and polite man, and it’s obvious he takes pride in his work. I can’t wait to come back and try different drinks. Shoutout to local itty-bitty coffee places, you guys are doing great work.

New favorite! We live in Los Angeles and have to admit that Warehouse 4 Coffee has better coffee and food options than a lot of places in LA. We’ve been here almost every day during our visit in Vandalia! Can’t wait to come back.

Just what we wanted in a coffee(tea) stop with a light meal. I ordered the spinach/egg/tomato/cheese sandwich with pesto and added bacon. Hubby decided that was a good idea and copied mine. It came as a perfectly-toasted panini with the right amount of pesto. Two strips of bacon gave it a nice internal crunch to add to that of the toasted bread. The staff were friendly and appreciated that we sought them out thanks to Unilocal. The coffee was labeled excellent by the hubby, who can be a bit of a coffee snob. I ordered black tea, which they offered to steep or in a bag(major points for this!) which I asked for steeped. It came out just right, black with a tiny hint of rosy sweetness. We also appreciated the raw sugar option as we prefer it to refined/artificial. My only suggestion would be to seek out at least one other black tea option(standard Earl Grey and Oolong were the only others offers) as well as a matcha to keep us non-froufy tea drinkers satisfied. There were about 16 herbal type offerings, for those who enjoy such things. Overall, a very good experience we hope to repeat on the next of our frequent jaunts through the area!

I’m not a coffee drinker, so I can’t comment on the core competency of Warehouse 4. But as some place to get a bite to eat and get a little work done, it is a home run. Probably my favorite breakfast spot close to home. Their sausage biscuit($ 4) is the best I’ve had in Dayton and my wife really enjoys their vegetarian sandwich. Atmosphere is perhaps a bit Spartan, but comfortable and spacious.

I’ve only been here a couple of times. The staff is very friendly, the space is quite large and well lit with sunlight in the morning. The iced tea blends I had were delicious. My friends had coffee and said that it was very good, if not particularly remarkable. One of my other friends had a breakfast/brunch sort of sandwich and said it was quite nice. Only difficulty for me about this place is that I forget it’s there. I live very close, but because it’s not on a road I drive on regularly it slips my mind. Too bad… because it is a locally owned place. I’ll have to make the effort to stop by more often.
