Don’t be fooled… this is technically on the college campus. Thus, college students with college energy and college schedules. Very loud(from music, machines, and people) but the layout is typical of a coffee shop(big chairs, couches, board games, etc). My two stars comes from this specific incident. I asked for a small Americano. The barista stared at me… I repeated myself. Again, the look of befuddlement. He said, «we don’t have those.» I should have left right then. I looked around, and sure as day, there is the espresso machine. With lattes on the menu, I said, «just make a latte with water instead of milk» and he went to it. It was pitiful. I’m no coffee connoisseur, but it was like drip met burnt shots made with dirty water. And, he didn’t know how to charge me, so it was only $ 1. A dollar poorly spent, I’ll say. But, hey, maybe this just wasn’t my jam because I was alone, not a college student, and had higher expectations. Their milkshakes did look good, I’ll cut them some slack. Definitely won’t be visiting for coffee, but maybe I’ll give it a second try when ime feeling more lively and at the college student pace.

Um… not the best coffee in Dayton, but a good one for Wright State students. This coffee shop is on campus so don’t be driving up and down on Zink looking for this place. You gotta get on campus and feel like the awkward, outsider townie trolling for undergrad coeds if you wanna come here. Service is challenging at times. Took them about 10 minutes to get me my mocha latte. They also don’t carry decaf. Like most establishments on campus, believe proximity has something to do with this café’s success… there’s also not much competition for them as most of the students coming here just walk from their apartments/dorms. The atmosphere is great though. I think I saw about 4 or 5 half naked coed walking around in sleep wear.

A great place to relax with some friends or study while you’re out. The best coffee in Dayton, hands down. They serve La Terza coffee, which is all Fair Trade(or better)! And they’re Organic as well! They GIVEAWAY hotdogs every Tuesday night, have Open Mic nights every Wednesday, and have events all the time(their website is really helpful). It’s a little tricky to get to the first time, but well worth finding. A treasure you won’t soon forget!
