Amazing! Consistently fabulous food! I AMADDICTED! I normally stick to one particular dish at restaurants, but here I’m not afraid to branch out because I know that whichever meal I pick — it WILL be scrumptious!

Food good but not as good as it was… also, meat was dry. Hopefully they change back or they will loose business

The food is well made, super authentic. I purchased the chicken platter. Customer service was good, no complaints. It is not the best I have had but it’s worth trying out.

Love love love Pita Wrap Grill! Their chicken shawarma is incredible. Their saffron rice and made-right-there garlic sauce is a must. They also own the Halal right next store, so you can buy a lot of what they make. The proprietors are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and make you feel genuinely welcome. Bonus: they usually greet you with free baklava samples!

Yum!!! Saw this place on Unilocal and it was so good. I travel for business so I eat alone alwaysand the owner was the sweetest nicest man ever!!! Such a good change from typical chain restaurants

I had the chicken shawarma combo plate and absolutely loved the flavors of my sides. I decided to be adventurous and try some things different. The rice was the best thing on the plate by far. I love good rice and this place does it right with their authentic flavors. Idk if I came too late(7pm) but the chicken was dry and I’ve had better schwarma before at other locations. We ate at the restaurant and another thing I liked is that they gave us free pita bread to go with our hummus. I’ll give them another shot at a later date since people said the schwarma is good.

Atmosphere goes a long way, but enthusiasm and good food go a lot longer. Anything this spot may lack in the former, it makes up in spades with the latter. As soon as we walked in, the owner greeted us with warm and open friendliness. He offered us free samples and asked if we had any questions about the menu. This is the kind of personal attention that makes a little spot great! We had the platters(chicken and beef) and the food was excellent! Portions are large for the price. The owner chatted with us for a bit longer, and then offered my girlfriend a free beverage!(she’s pretty cute so that may have been the reason) The longer we sat, the more I appreciated how the ethnic music playing really enhanced the experience of the food! All in all a very authentic cuisine, not a super fancy spot, but good value and great service! The food was tasty, but I don’t eat at a lot of middle eastern restaurants, so I wouldn’t know with what to compare it. I will eat here again, and recommend it to friends!

I saw this place on Unilocal and love Mediterranean food so had to try it. Unilocal reviewers said try the chicken shawarma so we got one chicken and one steak so we could try both and it was delicious. So much food ! I’m normally not impressed with steak shawarma buy it was pretty amazing. Atmosphere was great, I thought, for a ma and pa type place. Family feel, loud boisterous man, hardworking little lady cooking up her homestyle dishes. Authentic music playing in the background, cute little wooden tables, colored walls, and decorations. We were very impressed with the food and happy with the atmosphere. A 5 star for me.

This place is as authentic as it gets! Very good middle eastern cuisine. I have been coming here at least once a week for two months now. I can’t seem to get enough!!!

The chicken shawarma bowls were not too bad. I enjoyed it. It comes with tabbouleh salad, rice, and some tahini sauce. I didn’t care too much for the tabbouleh salad so I mostly ate the chicken and the rice. It’s not as flavorful as I’d want it to be, but I’d come back.

I’ve been here twice and both experiences have been underwhelming despite good food. The first time it was raining and the floor was so slippery that I kept almost falling. I could barely get to the table and then I realized I had to get up and get my own silverware, napkins, refills, etc. because while the cashier or cook will bring you your meal, that’s the extent of the wait service. The second time was tonight. I ordered the Mixed Grill with the sauce on the side(to give to hubby) and Hubby ordered the Chicken Shawarma Bowl. His came out quickly. I waited another five minutes before mine showed up with a creamy sauce all over it. I sent it back to the kitchen. The chef didn’t seem happy, but I think he was more upset with the cashier who didn’t tell him how I ordered it. At least the replacement came out quickly. The food is has been good both times. The chicken is the best. Its sooo tender! If service was a little more existent, and there weren’t just random problems it would rate at least a 3 or maybe 4. As for my dairy problem, skip the sauces and the sides. Only the hummus, and the Mediterranean salad are dairy free of the sides and sauces.

Delicious! I came here during lunchtime and it was packed! It took a while to order and then get my food, but it was worth the wait. I got a chicken shawerma bowl and it was huge! There was so much food, I wasn’t able to finish it all. My favorite thing about the dish was the tzatziki sauce. It had so much flavor! But you’ll definitely need a mint or gum after eating it, because the sauce had a lot of garlic!

Love this place. Everyone is very friendly and the food is really really good. I tried out the Mediterranean Platter and for $ 10 it’s a really good deal. I travel a lot for work and when income to Dayton I come here every time.

I’ve been here 5 times. The first impression was great! I couldn’t have been happier. It was the last three times that I wasn’t impressed. I usually give every place the benefit of the doubt with regards to the taste/freshness/customer service. Each time I’ve eaten there, I always chose the platter with chicken. The last three times I went there, the meet was hard! I don’t know if it were over cooked or they just gave me older meat that had been sitting. It was very dry and half of it I didn’t eat. Before I complain about the service, I do have to say that the first 2 times I had gone, my food came out within well under 10 minutes. Now. the last 3 times I went there, I waited longer. The straw that broke the camels back was when I waited over 30 minutes! I got there just before the dinner rush. I ordered my usual and sat down. As soon as I sat down people started coming in. At this point, I made it a point to watch my ticket as they put it up for the older gentleman to make. They had 3 single orders and one family of 4. All of their orders were fulfilled and as they were brining out the last plate for the family of 4, they brought mine out. I watched as the older gentleman looked at my ticket twice but moved on to other orders. Once he decided to make it, it didn’t take but 2 minutes to put together. It’s not like there was something he was waiting on. For some reason, decided to take on the other orders before mine. And guess what, my meat was hard once again. I couldn’t help but notice that they fulfilled the orders of what seemed to be friends of the people working, before mine. That was the last time I ate there. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and quite honestly, I’ve found better food down the street. One thing I did like, despite waiting so long for my food, was that the taller and younger gentleman was very nice and friendly.

Had been meaning to try this place since it opened. I came here hoping the food was awesome since we were looking for catering for our party. It is! They were super friendly, everyone in the kitchen and behind the counter is Arabic and that goes a long way in making the food taste awesome. We had PWG cater our party for 30 people and we got compliments on the food all afternoon. We will definitely be back to try more dishes. Thanks guys!

I was passing through late one night on a road trip from Philly to St Louis and was on the look for a quick turkey wrap at 9pm by my hotel. I found this place and it was AMAZING! Not what I was looking for but this was legit Mediterranean and middle eastern food. A real family owned place. They were all so nice and started feeding me the second I walked in like I was walking into their own home. Had a felafel and lentil soup both were amazing. They gave me some samples to try while I was picking something to order. I highly recommend!!!

pretty good. I’d have to say my favorite part is the Turkish(?) coffee that is available while you are waiting for your food. yum yum! the owner is very kind and made the effort to greet all of his customers. he even brought my to-go order to me as the cashier spelled my name wrong and he didn’t want me to feel embarrassed by having my name mispronounced. the rest of the staff seemed very pleasant, even the girl cashier who was having her first day of work. the owner also gave a box of sweet treats to a little girl who was having her birthday the next day, so another gold star for him. the only thing that slightly bothered me was that the younger guy giving out baklava. I’m a veggie and at first didn’t realize it was baklava at first glance so I asked what it was and before I could finish my sentence he said«It’s baklava»…geez. anyway, I bought the veggie platter and it was tasty. not the best veggie platter(thinking of another Mediterranean place across the street) but still very enjoyable, includes some pickled veggies! the meat(though I don’t eat it) behind the counter was also cooking on big sticks with vegetables also pinned to the poles to add flavor. from what I know, this is how this genre of meat is supposed to be cooked, so authenticity points! the atmosphere is alright. there are tapestries and traditional garb on the walls. considering the personable nature of the owner, I wonder if there is a story behind that décor. I also enjoyed the music and the store’s slogan«Your tummy with thank us!» was cute. since the place is still so new, I think the workers are still adjusting to the vast amount of traffic that can come from WPAFB during lunch. I made it right before the rush and watched the store quickly clog with customers while I was waiting for my food. overall, great, adding it to my list of local food places.

Visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this little place because it was in the same plaza as my much needed Starbucks. What a find! I ordered the Mediterranean Platter with fattoush, cucumber salad, and eggplant salad. I got my food to go and didn’t end up eating it for about an hour. Even reheated, the steak shawarma was good! But the sides were my favorite… Everything was fresh, delicious, and flavored perfectly, not like a lot of the cheap, Americanized Mediterranean food chains. I definitely got my veggie fix in. Pleasantly surprised to find this place sandwiched between a nail salon and Gigi’s cupcakes, and will probably be back before I go home!

My boyfriend and I were excited about trying this new place. When we walked in, we took a step back to take in the menu. We’re no strangers to Middle Eastern food… we just wanted to take a few minutes to review it. One of the associates was impatient. Instead of taking the time to explain the menu or ask if we had any questions he said in a condescending tone«Hey, I’ll make this easy for you. Do you like rice? Do you like chicken or steak.?» Excuse me? Do not talk to us as if we’re dimwitted, just because we didn’t make an immediate decision. I am not going to eat at a new place that patronizes customers who aren’t extremely familiar with the food they serve. I assure you I have credibility in this department. I’m Vietnamese and I work in a Korean restaurant. I quite enjoy explaining the menu to my customers and encourage them to ask me questions. My boyfriend also pointed out that they seemed to be more receptive to a few of the other customers than us. Asking them what components they’d like and interacting with them. I promise that both Allyn and I are very friendly and warm people. The way we were treated was odd. The female working at the time was the only one who was friendly. She seemed to be new and wasn’t doing much besides distributing samples of baklava and the food orders, but that’s what she was ordered to do. She seemed uncomfortable. We probably won’t be back. This steak shawarma is decent, but I don’t appreciate the atmosphere. Also, I do hope they straighten out the payment system before they get too busy. It’s counterproductive to set up a restaurant that looks similar to Chipotle and then send customers backwards through the line. It doesn’t affect the customers at all by making them pay first, but it effects the line productivity. I’d suggest a system similar to Chipotle. Starting at one side opposite from the cash register and marking the food with a code that’s quickly distinguishable for the cashier. Just a thought. I might try this place again in half a year, just to give it another shot. However, my excitement for this place is completely gone.

My tummy is happy :-) This place is AMAZING!!! Love it!!! My husband and I love Middle Eastern food. With him having traveled there and with myself spending a lot of time in Dearborn, Michigan we have had our share of fabulous Mediterranean feasts and this one ranks up there with some of the best. The staff is AMAZING! The owner introduced himself and was so kind. He genuinely cares about his customers and takes great pride in the food he serves… and for good reason… it is AMAZING! We tried a bunch of different things ranging from fattoush to kaffta and everything in between. LOVED the lentil soup! It is not something that I ordinarily would’ve tried but they gave me a sample and I fell in love. Their tabouleh was great as was their hummus. I think my favorite meat was the chicken while my husband loved the kaffta. There really was nothing that we did not like. We finished the meal with baklava which was pretty different from the baklava my family makes or any other I have ordered at a restaurant. It was a little drier and flakier. This was nice because it was easy to eat and it was not too sweet. Loved it… so I had 3 :) Add grape leaves to the menu and I may move in. You MUST try this place. It basically blows every other middle Eastern place in the area out of the water. Did I mention it is AMAZING? Well it is ;-)
