WARNING!!! This place is extremely unprofessional. They just scam girls out of their information.

I purchased 6 embryos from Fairfax Bank last year and 3 didn’t developed, used 2 for my first Fet, which failed; my doctor informed me that there was fragmentation and the quality of the eggs were poor. My doctor suggested I request for a replacement and that he will send his report to them as well. He never sent his report, only the technician in the lab sent their report. I contacted my coordinator, Melanie and was told that they will have to review my case; according to their policy, they met their requirement since the embryos developed and i couldn’t get a replacement. My second doctor told me prior to my second Fet attempt that the quality was poor and the results will be negative. I contacted Fairfax and spoke with a manager, Holly and informed her of my second failed Fet. I was told to have the doctor send his report and she notify Melanie about my concerns. The review happened before my doctor had a chance to send in his report and I was told by Melanie, that they were just going to use the lab report from the first office and that it didn’t matter if he sent his report. I spent too much money and thought that since both doctors told me that the quality was poor, Fairfax Bank would of helped with an replacement, instead, I was told I could get a $ 2,000 discount. I wasted my time and money with my first doctor and getting embryos from this bank!

This staff has no idea what their doing! My boyfriend came here 2 times and the woman that runs the place didn’t add him to the schedule for his first appointment, fortunately they were able to take him after he showed the receptionist the email the owner had sent him telling him to come in, but what if he hadn’t had that email on him? This was a horrible first impression and the receptionist didn’t even apologize for the mixup. The morning of his second appointment we’re hoping in the car ready to race off as he glances at his email to find out the place had RESCHEDULED HIM THE MORNING OF HIS APPOINTMENT to the next day without asking him if he was even available! They didn’t even call him they sent an email two hours before he was supposed to come in!!! If he hadn’t checked his email that morning we would have made a 40 minute drive for nothing! The only reason this place gets a star is because it’s kept clean and they pay okay but this business seriously needs to get their crap together! My advise, go somewhere professional… don’t waste your time here.

Great selection of DVDs and Magazines. A little Chilly, but the best part is that they pay me!!! What can I say, I love coming here.

We have been trying to have a baby for years and finally made the difficult decision to use a sperm bank. I chose Fairfax based on their very specific warranty on quality of sperm. I spent over $ 500+ per vial and each time, the quality was WAY below their «warranty». When I complained and asked to be reimbursed for the money I spent on the vials. They dragged their feet and finally reimbursed me pennies on the dollar. I gave them multiple chances to make it right and even had to switch to another donor to get better quality and that donor sperm was below their warranty level as well. There is obviously no quality control at Fairfax and when they are called on it, they refuse to stand behind their warranty. I’ve wasted so much money (doctor’s fees, shipping fees) not to mention taking fertility drugs, monitoring my cycle and taking time off work just to get in there and have the doctor tell me that once the sperm was thawed it was practically useless. Don’t use them, they have made the last 6 months of my life miserable. BTW, they still have both those sperm donors on their website… very unethical company.
