It wasn’t a terrible visit but it needs some work done. Smaller music collection I have seen in a n FYE, but then again it is the smallest FYE I have ever seen too. The service was what needed work. There was only one gentlemen there and I went to get him when I was ready, but instead of checking me out since I was originally the only one up there he checked out someone who appeared as I was getting him to check me out. I didn’t really think that was very good service, but I also don’t think it is something to make a scene about so I didn’t.

I will say that F.Y.E. does have a lot of movies that you can’t find at Best Buy and would have to maybe get online as well. However, I also like the idea of being able to trade in movies for store credit to use at F.Y.E. What I am not really impressed about this particular location is that whenever you go in and have something you would like to trade in there is a hesitation from the staff. As in «well, I guess I can help you.» This has happened several times to not only me, but also some of my friends as well.

This is a place where I buy most well all of my movies, I get the cheapest one’s like$ 3 or $ 4 something, Its a good place to buy movies, I am a movie guy, I love to come here. Miss the old manager Dontay, he was the BEST manager there! he transferred a while back to another place. But anyways Great movie store!!!

Less than impressed. Not very customer oriented as far as trying to make sure you’re happy. No one is gonna go the extra mile here, that’s for sure. Wanted to purchase a gift for a friend but the items in boxes are often in beat up condition and swapping a box is apparently a sin to this location. You have to either accept the beat up box and a perfect item or a pristine box and an imperfect item. You absolutely can not swap it so you can present your recipient with a perfect item in a pristine box. Maybe I’m too picky but moving on… I’ve worked in customer service and sales and we always would do a swap out gladly so long as the item was identical and the SKU was the same and there was no tape or anything holding the box closed. There was not in this case. Had I not been polite and asked and instead just swapped them out myself they’d of never known the difference. Didn’t want them to think I was stealing though so I asked. That said, most of the CDs here are overpriced so I opted to buy a gift online instead. The item I wanted to purchase originally was the same price online anyway. I probably won’t come back because it’s nothing special. And their unwillingness to cater to the customer leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

This would be another ZERO star review. Sure, they might have a cheap DVD or CD you were looking for — but let me warn you about how their financial d-baggery and lame customer service will scare you off forever. I bought a cheap 9 dollar CD, and the cashier — Myriam — asked if I wanted to «open an FYE membership to save 10% today». I politely declined, and she said, «Oh, it’s free,» so I said, «Ok, fine.» She asked for my name, address, email, and phone number, then gave me my card and had me sign my receipt and member slip. I noticed that she didn’t really let me read anything — it was just«Oh and sign HEREEEE…» *pointing down to the dotted line* So I made a note to double-check this at home. Lo-and-behold that FYE’s «backstge VIP pass» or whatever lame BS name they call it — actually charges you $ 12 per month because it’s only a 30-day-trial. I called the customer service number(1−877−351−2131) to cancel(and they’re only open on M-F/9am-11pm) so I called FYE to ask why and how I was told this was«Free» — when clearly — it isn’t… A guy named Mike answered and he said, «It’s free for the first 30 days» — I asked to speak to the manager. He said he is the manager. I said they shouldn’t let they’re employees mislead or lie to their customers about membership deals. He apologized profusely. But you can bet I won’t be returning, and I’ll be warning everyone I know NOT to go here.
