This is one of my favorite spot, I just discovered this place not too long ago and I have been going 2 a week. I guess I love sugar way too much. Do yourself a favor and stop by and try a piece of cake.

Genuinely confused by all these positive reviews. This location is by far the worst Shilla and that’s saying a lot because all the others ones are way below average. I don’t come here too often, but when I do, it’s to kill time because I’m nearby. Recently, I ordered a latte and sat down with my laptop. I took a sip and almost spat it back into the cup. Either the beans they used were really old or the milk was curdled. I pushed the drink to the side and was just going to get some work done, but no. NOWIFI… Save money and time, just go next door to Starbucks. At least they have wifi…

Pretty good bread but they don’t really shine in the drink section. I go to other bakeries in order to get this fix… but this is still a really cozy spot. Sometimes it is pretty loud, so if you are looking for a café to rest in after a long day and its a busy day, you may not find it here. I love the prices and the bingsoo is pretty delicious too. I come by for the convenience of quick, delicious bread. It falls towards the higher average of bread quality you can find in the area. :) Service is always pretty fast too.

I’ve heard about this place a few times, so I stopped in after work. I was expecting prices to be higher, so I was pleased to see things were proved very reasonably. I tried a few samples and walked out with a Nutella bread, buttercream bread, and a slice of strawberry roll cake. I just finished the buttercream bread. The bread was very soft and moist, and there was a good amount of filling, I just wish the buttercream was sweeter. It tasted like there was two much butter. I also picked up a slice of pizza bread. That was not my favorite. It had peas, pepper and ham in it, which I was not expecting. It wasn’t a good surprise and I didn’t finish it. They also gave me a sample of something nutty with a sweet filling that I did The cashier was a little a stand offish, and didn’t say much. She checked me out pretty fast, which was nice. The cakes were pretty and the samples were good. Overall, I’ll probably be back for some sweet things, because the prices were good but definitely not the savory items.

I’m a fun here, have always been here for its tasty bread. However I must say that they need to have more different kinds of bread if they want more business.

My husband and I love the bubble teas at Shilla. Not only that but this is a great place for cakes and pastries. We celebrated our son’s first year with Shilla’s cakes every month.

I love the Red Bean bread here. I always crave it. The place is cute, too. I love the idea of bread baskets as little carts. Reasonably priced. I highly recommend!

Wrong locatio … this should be for fairfax blvd café Haven’t been here in awhile but today was a pleasant experience. I had the chicken sesame wrap which was quite good on spinach wrap. Previous commenter was wrong or things changed because they definitely have bing soon and bubble tea. I really like the frozen yogurt… it’s for grown up tastes, not the sweet stuff. That plus samples. I’m happy.

Bulgolgi sandwich was nice to find but just so so. Good smoothue. Delicious tea and mousse cake. Annandale has a much nicer atmosphere, but a good option if you are in Fairfax, and this place is nice if you want more quiet and less crowds. Breeze in Annandale blows them all away!

The food is spectacular. The lady that is there is so sweet. I enjoy eating the blueberry bread and fallen leaf thing.

This place is so good! The staff is nice and the sweets are very moist! They have the perfect amount of sweetness and it’s not over powering. I noticed for the first time that they have a grill as well, I think I’ll be trying that next time. I’m only giving it 3 stars because it is a bit messy in there and their collection was a bit empty. I will be going back for more :)

I love everything from Shilla Bakery, either the bread or cake tastes good and fresh from me anyway. I always recommend friends come here for birthday cakes if they ask.

This is NOT the FULL Shilla Bakery & Café that you are thinking of! Take away the«Café» and cut out half the«bakery» and you’ll have better expectations. There is no bubble tea, cakes, or binsoo that the full café offer. Go to the Fairfax café location to get those things( ) There is only a limited selection of breads and pastries.

I LOVE Shilla Bakery, I just do not like this specific location. It’s in the back of Lotte and doesn’t have the full array of assortments like the one in Annandale or Centreville has. I came one day hoping to introduce my friend to bingsoo and sadly they didn’t even serve it. When asking the woman if they even served it, she responded rudely to me like i should have known that they didn’t serve it here.

I was running errands in the area and used Unilocal to find a smoothie/bubble tea place. I was so excited to see that Shilla Bakery was only 1 mile away! I have been to the Annandale location before and I love their bubble tea(boba?). My GPS kept telling me that I had arrive but I did not see it in the entire strip mall. After a lot of confusion, I finally realized that it was located inside of the Lotte grocery store. When we finally found the ‘bakery’(aka lonely consignment table sandwiched between a perfume and clothing stand) we asked the woman if they had bubble tea or bin soo. They had NEITHER! She was rude about it too. This location only had a few cakes on the display. This is nothing like the stand alone Shilla Bakeries in the area. There is absolutely no seating or extensive menu that we are used to. Based on the reviews I have read, I wonder if this place used to be bigger? Or if some Unilocalers typed the address in wrong? I noticed there is a Shilla Bakery about 3 miles from this location but after all of the confusion I was too grouchy to venture out to find it.

I treated a friend to Shilla Bakery for her birthday lunch, and we loved it. It’s a showroom full of delicacies — cute Korean treats, sweet breads, tea, boba, bingsoo, sandwiches, and much, much more. After trying to narrow down our lunch decisions(there’s a lot to choose from!), I was excited to find that they served Bulgogi — my favorite Korean dish. It was a good sized portion, complete with a side of rice, salad, and potato salad. ALL for a whopping $ 8. She ordered the veggie panini and commented on how fresh the vegetables were. We’re also big boba fans; I got the honeydew boba and she got the green tea boba. They were both delicious, and the tapioca pearls were just the right consistency. I hate when they’re too hard! I wish we had room for dessert that day because there were a handful of treats we were eager to try. I imagine they’ll be great too. So far, SOGOOD.

The only reason people are giving this Shilla 4 or 5 stars is b/c they have not been to the other 2 Shillas in Annandale or Centreville(soon to be one in MD) or b/c they are stupid. Yes, compared to American bakeries this is amazing and they have samples, etc. However, the service at this one is awful, they have the least amount of baked goods, and the pride and joy bingsoo’s here are mediocre at best. I still give it 3 stars b/c it destroys the other non-korean bakeries and the cakes here are just as good as the other Shillas.

I love this cute Korean bakery! There are a wide variety of fresh baked goods, cookies, cakes, savory pastries, sandwiches, bubble teas, hot teas, cake pops– you name it! And there are generous samples on all of the shelves. I like this location better than the one in Annandale– this one is less crowded and uses the space more efficiently, and it’s neater.
