Ummm… it’s okay. Nothing amazing and there are places that are much better. If your at lotte already then it will suffice for a quick korean food fix. Nothing fancy but is easy on your wallet. Yeah… it’s just okay.

Best kalgooksoo in town! You can truly tell that it’s homemade! Even after moving to LA (biggest Koreatown outside of Korea!), I still miss this place. I took off a star for atmosphere as it’s located inside the Lotte Market and it’s a no-​frills place. If you’re looking for a hot bowl of hand-​cut noodles, this is the best place in the DC metro area!

–Took too long for my soondooboo (spicy tofu soup)
–Soondooboo was small and didn’t come with a raw egg for cracking into the soup
–Overall taste was alright
–No one seemed to speak English; I had my friend who spoke poor Korean to come translate
Nothing stellar and I’m not a fan of their prices for the portions you get, but if I was craving Korean and in the area I’d possibly stop by.
