My go to place on the weekends … Quick and efficient service. I always get a coffee and some type of sweet; thanks to my sweet tooth. Sometimes parking can be tricking in this busy strip mall … And it is a small strip mall off of a busy HWY29.

Definitely a convenient location, but not worth it to stop by. The staff here only likes to socialize with each other and the cup wasn’t even filled to normal standards, left like 2 cm below the rim. The Iced Caramel Macchiato was meh. Very disappointed.

Everyone is extremely slow. I am here as i am writing this. Three employees are here and two of them are just standing and talking about their personal stuff.

It’s Starbucks! It’s amazing! And I love it. What else is there to say about it? Yes, it’s busy! Yes, I get impatient but when I hear my name called and look over to see that beautiful X-Large Trenta iced coffee topped with whip cream waiting for me, ugh… My heart melts and my worries disappear! I love you Starbucks! I want you to be mine FOREVER!

I usually come here for my afternoon coffee fix during work. This morning I needed another cup of coffee before heading into work so I stopped by. I didn’t know but they were renovating and were giving out free coffee, grande size ! It was a rainy morning and they were all there was smiles on their faces. When I’m in the area, I’ll never go to any other Starbucks. They didn’t have to open and be there since 4:00 am to give out free coffee and they did. Go here for great customer service!

I don’t usually give reviews at places like Starbucks but today’s experience made me reconsider. I don’t come to this location often but when I do, the experience is usually a good one. I walked in and an older lady cashier just looked very grumpy which is fine. Everyone has a bad day here and there. I ordered a drink for myself and a friend so was naming out the orders and she just looked very annoyed that I was asking for the drinks to be customized(which I thought was the whole point of Starbucks … being able to customize your drinks to your liking). She had charged and wrote black iced coffee on the cup instead of black iced tea so the drink came out wrong. That’s fine. Mistakes happen. Maybe she didn’t hear me correctly or maybe I didn’t order correctly. Who knows? The drink came out wrong. The barista, tall young gentleman, was sooo incredibly calm and nice and was like no big deal, I’ll make the right drink for you. Problem solved, right? No big deal. The lady comes back and basically said I was wrong and just looked very annoyed.(I thought customers were always right.) Anyways, I had the wrong iced coffee next to me and she just comes and snatches it away very rudely. I’m giving 3 stars because the older lady cashier was not very nice at all but the young tall gentleman barista was super nice and gave wonderful customer service!

Came in here wanting literally coffee on ice with cream and sugar and was basically laughed at by the cashier(the barista who started taking my order was very nice though, and didn’t make me feel like an a** about what I wanted). So I said, «iced coffee with 3 sugars and 2 creams,» the cashier was staring off into space, looking super annoyed that I wasn’t spitting out my order, and at the end of the transaction he said«yeah, we don’t really do ‘2 creams’.» Well excuuuuuuuuse me. I never go to Starbucks, and thanks for making it so that I’ll never come back. The customer behind me made some snarky comment as I walked away(get a life btw) and he and the cashier cracked up laughing. In the end, the americano(because they don’t do half caff iced coffee with 3 sugars and 2 creams — though now that I think of it, an iced coffee is exactly what I wanted in the first freaking place…) I ordered was a mistake — it’s wayyy too bitter. Sorry, cashier, that I had zero time to google image search pics of your coffee drinks so as not to hold up the jerks behind me. If I ever *do* go back to Starbucks, it won’t be yours.

The barista who made my drink made a very bad impression me within one minute of interacting with her. The barista at the cash register«forwarded» my order to her. As she put the finished drink on the counter, she was yapping away with the barista who took my order. Of course she did not call out the name of the drink because her mouth was busy talking. I turned the drink around gently(in case it was not mine) to read the label and nope– she did not label the drink, which by the way. isn’t that what they’re supposed to do? I have never seen any barista not label the drink with either the abbreviation of the drink or the customer’s name. Anyways, I called for her, but she didn’t hear me since she was still busy talking to her coworker. I raised up my voice to say, «excuse me» again. She did not hear. The third time I called out for her she finally turned. «Excuse me. Is this my hazelnut latte?» She glanced at me and said, «yea, the hazelnut latte,» and turned right back to her coworker to continue yapping away. How rude. Follow to procedure and call out the name of the drink or label it.

I arrived on a Thursday afternoon for a drink while I did some work there on my laptop. I asked for an Iced Dirty Chai(chai latte with a shot of Espresso). Yes, I am aware that this is not on the menu. And although the gentleman at the cash register didn’t recognize a Dirty Chai(which I was perfectly ok with, I was more than willing to choose another drink), one of his female coworkers did and offered to make it. This woman, at first, made me feel stupid. She kept asking me unnecessary questions and would rudely answer«what»(accompanied by a dirty look) when she couldn’t hear me. Not a big deal, but kind of annoying. When I got my drink, it wasn’t iced. I told her about it and she acted like she didn’t hear me at all, so I mentioned it again. Same thing happened, so I decided to just deal with it. I am never too fond of Starbucks whenever I go. I personally prefer Caribou Coffee, it has more of a personal, family-owned Café feel to it whereas I don’t feel that with Starbucks.

This Starbucks is the closest to where I live so I’m there often. But only out of convenience. There are maybe two or three people I enjoy ordering from. Everyone else always seems tired, flustered and even annoyed that I’m ordering drip coffee. It’s very rare to receive a smile from anyone at this location. I am an ex Starbucks employee so I understand how stressful and exhausting the job can be sometimes but almost every single time I visit it’s impossible to receive friendly service. The service I receive makes me feel like I’ve just ruined their day. Like I said, there are only a handful of people I enjoy ordering from. But there is nothing spectacular about this location except for convenience.

Arrived on a Saturday afternoon before having to head over and clean out my office :(In the midst of a busy schedule, I decided to get a frozen, tasty treat before the huge task ahead. After I placed my order, I realized I had left my wallet at home. I was dissapointed that I wouldn’t be able to pay for my drink and worried for my drive around town without a license. Alec must have picked up my forlorn expression because he very graciously offered to complete my order despite the circumstances. Thank you, Alec and Starbucks!

Oy ve, I have such a love hate relationship with this Starbucks. I keep hoping it gets better, but alas I am more disappointed at the service here each time I step in! I am a very simple starbucks customer… meaning I just drink hot or iced coffee. easy! In fact, this is coffee that is already prepared and should not take 10 min. to get. The starbucks is not even that busy at off times, but the lack of customer service is what is really getting to me. There are a few employes who are lovely and always very helpful. An older lady who usually works the register, a young chubbier kid who looks about high school age, and the cute guy with all the tattoos. They are the only redeeming part of this Sbux. The remainder of the employees are either untrained or too buys standing around talking to their friends while customers wait for their drinks to be made by ONE barista. Most of the employees at this location could stand a refresher lesson in customer service. I think I will continue to drive a little further to the other Sbux that has much, much, much better service.

Don’t know what the deal is with all the bad reviews for this location. I’ve never had bad service here. Then again, I don’t expect people at Starbucks to be happy to wait on me. Just sayin’. I will admit that the preparation can be a little inconsistent. Sometimes there will be more chocolate in my mocha or more ice in my frap. Not a huge deal though. This location is the closest to my house and I’ll keep going back. Need that mocha fix.

Walking in, there was no one at the register so I had stood in front of the location where people were making the drinks. Someone asked me, what are you waiting for? me: «oh sorry, I just wanted to order» I just got a grande pike’s place roast and they told me I needed to wait a few extra minutes for it to finish roasting. and boy, was it ROASTY. OVER-ROASTED, BURNT, yet at the same time, sour. i had to put in additional milk and sugar to try to cover up the over roasted taste… i didn’t even finish half of it even though I was super tired… and i NEVER leave a drop of coffee in my cup. buuuuuuuuuuuurn.

I noticed Amanda E.‘s review and thought I should update mine. Things at this location have gone downhill since a year ago. The majority of the staff is not nearly as good as it used to be. A lot of them tend to be negative and moody(in other words not happy to help), or über happy to an almost scary level. Overall, this location has gone downhill. I am almost positive that there is a new store manager, and a lot of the original baristas are gone. I still stop in because it is closest to home, but now prefer the location over in East Market by Kohl’s.

I write this with great trepedation. But I’ve had enough. Twice this week I stopped in before trekking to DC for my morning dose. Twice I was disappointed and stopped at anothother Sbux down the streat for redemption. Again NO sugar in the raw. NO simple syrup. And they burned their drip coffee. I didn’t even know you could do that. The wonderful Baristas down the street at the new drive-thru Sbux(in front of Honey Baked Ham, x the street from Dunkin Donuts) are going to be working in this location next week to try and bring it up to snuff. I hope these guys can turn it around! It really pains me to not enjoy any Sbux location…

This Starbucks has the best staff, they know many of their customers by the first name and they always try to make you feel good when you pick up your drink. I heard one barista say«I’m gonna try to get everyone to smile when they pick up their drink» that’s always a nice way to start a morning.

Stopped in to this Starbucks for some life giving caffeine this morning — got myself a Grande coffee — and something to eat that I’ve not noticed or ever had before — a Broccoli-Cheddar scone. I had the scone warmed up. I was not quite sure what to expect. But it was quite good! I was wishing for some butter to go with it — but I came to appreciate the scone the way it was — and it was a healthier food without the butter. It was crispy on the outside — but inside it had a consistency that was more a combination of cornbread and biscuit — than the more crumbly nature of many scones I have known. This Sbux is in a fairly new little shopping center off of Route 29 — the name of the complex is «Lee Plaza.» No outdoor seating at this Sbux, but plenty of seating inside, and a T-mobile wireless internet connection. A couple of folks were hanging out with their laptops surfing and working away.
