Sunshine Nails

I dropped in to have a pedicure and there was not a single customer there. In fact, the two women inside looked as if they’d been sleeping and my entrance as a walk in had awakened them. I should have seen the empty salon as indicative of something wrong, because although my manicurist went through all the motions, she was slow and disinterested. After she put the polish was on, both women went into their back room and seemed to be cooking something with a strong, noxious smell. I didn’t see them again and 15 minutes later, I let myself out. Really weird. I won’t be returning.

Hands down best pedicure ever-I’ve been going to them for years

Worst manicure ever! I was hoping to upload a picture of my nails so that you could see what they look like less than 48 hours after my manicure. The clear paint is already off on almost every nail and my nail beds are a disaster. She did a terrible job with my cuticles and now I’ve got skin peeling off under the nails of 4 fingers… ouch! She also didn’t file them evenly.
I also got a pedicure, which at this point, is still intact.
The older woman did my toes and the younger one did my nails… stay away from the younger one! Although, the older one did make comments, such as «You’re still single?» (I assume this was because I don’t wear a wedding ring), and «How old are you?» Um, none of your business!!!
Additionally, the only reason I went to Sunshine was because of a Val-​Pak coupon… which despite not having an expiration date, they would not accept! Very poor service.

Kim and the girls are amazing! Very detailed oriented and take there time. Great nail art as well! And the prices are awesome for Marin!

Sunshine nails is fairly new. The service here is friendly and of course they do great nails. I have had manicure & pedicure many times and loved their work every time. Great job Sunshine! I will be back!

That my friends is the cheapest I have found in this land of sun!
Yes the bed may be old, but you get to set your own timer! No sign this and that and you can’t sue when you get cancer. Just here you are and relax in peace!
I also had a pedi for $ 18 with my Val-​Pak coupon, it was nice. Not spectacular, but nice. The water was just right, I hate really hot water.
My nail tech (I didn’t catch her name) was funny, she made some comments that I don’t think I can repeat on here. Let’s just say she liked my white skin, I have never never had anyone say, «You have beautiful skin, it is very white.» Hence, why I came to tan! She did give a nice massage but it wasn’t the best paint job I have had.
I will be back for the tanning for sure!
disclaimer: This place is small; 2 techs, 2 nail tables, 2 pedi chairs. One room with a tanning bed and waxing supplies. This is not your high end place but what it is, is close, convenient, and the staff is funny!
