Kim is fantastic… She is an excellent hair cutter and a lovely woman who enjoys her clients. I love the service and her skill is amazing. She understands fine, thin hair. That alone is worth so much to me… Considering the amount of hair on the floor when I get a cut it was never worth the money at higher salons. She knows her profession well and it shows…

Nan is amazing!!! So incredibly sweet, kind and takes pride in her work. By far the best mani-​pedi ever. What a find. She also gives a fantastic massage, then uses a hot stone. The place was very clean also. She really spent time refining my nails. She is very reasonable too.

Nan just moved here as a nail technician from her old salon and she is the best! Been going to her for years. She does a wonderful job on both manicures and pedicures and is a lovely person as well. I highly recommend her!

Nan is now at Precision 8 Salon in SA, I’ve been going to her for years. She is the best when it comes to a pink and white, but also mani/​pedi. She is friendly, sweet and very accommodating to her clients. So, glad she has settled in SA again, upstairs at the salon.

Nan! New to this salon is an upstairs manicurist who is the best I’ve ever found. Reasonably priced, Nan does my acrylic nails, sometimes straight manicure and pedicures perfectly every time. She is warm and friendly and handles her clients time perfectly, every time.
My fingernails look perfect each and every time. I am particular about each step being done well. These nails never loosen or have spots that ‘catch’ on anything. I highly recommend Nan! She clearly likes her work and has pride in the results. Ask for Nan, you will be thrilled.

Have been in salon make highlite. result was terrible. when I sad that it was what I want, stylist answer me not politely. «it’s not my fault, it’s wrong with your hair“when I show her pictures, what I want (I show this pictures before, but she didn’t remember, I think), she say «go outside and try to find, where you can do this! service is terrible. never come back.

I recently moved to the area and took a chance on Kim’s place based on recommendations. I’m so glad I did! As my wife will tell you, I think a great haircut is very important. As I’ve had my hair cut at some of the best salons in the world and also because I’ve had my hair cut every 4 weeks for the last 20 years, I know a good hairdresser from a bad one. Kim and her sister are not just good, they are FANTASTIC! And extremely nice people with it. If you’re looking for a great haircut (and at a great price by the way) this is the place to go.

I’ve been having my hair colored 20 years and this is without a doubt the best salon I’ve tried. It’s not fancy but Kim does an excellent job at a reasonable price. She’s been consistently good.

I went there to get highlight on my hair and they did such a beautiful job! I was going to put pink color after I get home, but luckily they had the color I liked;) so they added pink after they bleached my hair. I love it!
They do such a precise job and they are very nice and friendly. I will go back in a few months for sure.

They are very patient and friendly hair stylists. This is the first time I go to Precision 8 and I’m so glad and surprised to make a hair style here. The hair stylist doesn’t fail my expectation for she is really skillful and nice. I will definitely go there once again, and the price there is acceptable!

I thought I had found a great place close to home as Kim gave me a good haircut a few weeks back. Brought my young son in here because Eddie over at the Children’s Hair Club was all booked up. I saved $ 5 by coming here, but we didn’t get Kim but rather some lady that barely spoke and simply pushed my son’s head aside when she wanted him to move his head — and overall could work on her bedside manner as she seemed to be put off by us being there. Not really sure why…
After his cut, my son asked if we could go back to Eddie next time around and if we could please never go back to that mean lady again. If I can get over the bad taste this experience left in my mouth, I might return to Kim for a haircut since she did do a good job with me and was very personable.
Oh well, could have been worse and who knows, maybe the lady was just having a bad day or something.

The 5 star reviews are right on the mark! This place is such a find… and Kim is the best! She did a perm and trim/​cut that has to be the best I’ve ever had. She was fast, professional, incredibly reasonable, and the end result was something I genuinely like and feel comfortable with. No «getting used to»…no having to let it settle down… it’s just right, right away. What a treat.
Highly recommend!

Kim has been responsible for my hair since 1992 and over these many years she established a personal interest in myself and my hair. I have gone to many hair stylists and Kim is by far the most professional and affordable.
You can go to those upscale salons and pay for the same beauty and hair treatments that you will receive from Kim and her staff and pay much less and be most pleased that you did.
Believe me, Precision 8 is the only place you should consider when wanting a stylist to address your individual needs!

I realize that, as someone who is both picky AND cheap, my values are in direct conflict with each other when it comes to finding a hair salon that accomodates my fashion and financial needs. Precision 8 is a place where I can feel comfortable with the cut I’m received while not feeling ripped off, which is indeed a rare gem.
As a note: I wouldn’t go here for a super-​styled, complex haircut. I have hair that is very thick, very soft, and very curly, so I’ll only come here for trims and general maintenance of split ends. They charge no more than $ 20 per cut, which is fabulous, not to mention that this place is a walkable distance right down the hill from my house.
Also, I’ve only had a manicure done once here, but it lasted for weeks! Loved it.

Kim is THE BEST! I have been reccommending her salon to everyone for years, as DAILY, someone says they like my hair, and where do I go!!!
My Husband, John, is also a big fan.
It doesn’t hurt that Kim and staff are SO friendly and family oriented.
The prices are so low, I almost feel guilty!

Had an awesome experience at this place. I went in to get my very long hair cut very short and I am happy with the result! Sadly I can’t remember the name of the woman who did my hair (ann or lan maybe?), but she took directions very well unlike other comments have mentioned.
It is all about letting them know exactly what you want even if it requires saying it multiple times in different ways. That is the key to getting what you really want.
I was able to make an appointment in the same day which was very convenient. When I came in I only waited about 5 minutes (I was late haha) but they didn’t seem to mind. I was done with in 45 minutes (I wanted more than half my hair shopped off) but I left with a very good experience.
