The UPS Store

I needed to ship a temperature sensitive package overnight. Even though I had purchased the required shipping label from another UPS store, this store on/​near GMU’s campus went the extra mile and ensured my package was stored properly before shipment and then packed properly for shipment just before the UPS driver picked up packages that evening. This all happened flawlessly despite employee shift turnover between the time I dropped off the package and the time it was packed/​picked up. Everything arrived to the destination perfectly. I very much appreciate the help of Ilka and Ben.

I was in sometime last week shipping documents internationally. I’ve never shipped internationally at all. Always been skeptical about the thought of it. I knew that if I shipped it through the Postal Service that it would get lost. There’s no tracking involved with their service. I had a bad experience at the Fedex at University Mall, so I was not going there again.
A young girl named Kate helped me with my shipment. She reassured me over and over again that my shipment would be in good hands. She explained to me customs, taxes/​duties, and pretty much everything that comes along with international shipping. She was also able to get me a quote for a package that I was sending to another country. If that’s not enough, she went the extra mile to call UPS Corporate and make sure that the goods that I was sending were okay to send even though I wasn’t ready to ship my second package out yet. WOW.
My package arrived on time without any issues.
This store is conveniently located on GMU’s campus. Very convenient for me since I’m a student and don’t have a car on campus. This location is RARELY ever busy. If you’re looking to avoid lines (especially during Christmas) and have quick, reliable service, you should consider making the trip here.
