We received a balloon bouquet to celebrate the birth of our newborn son from University Flower Shop. Unfortunately, the base/​anchor of the bouquet leaked all over our dining room table and ate through the coating on our Crate and Barrel dining room table. I called the shop, just to get information on what had leaked on our table to try to best resolve the problem, and the individual I spoke to said they would call me back and almost a month later, I am still waiting for the call. Not only was she unapologetic that her product had damaged something in my home, she also offered no refund or solution. For a local business that I would imagine relies heavily on word of mouth, I find that to be poor form. I would not recommend using this florist or allowing any of their products into your home on anything that you value.
