D’s Massage Spa

I needed a massage after all the shoveling I did after the big snow in the area. My shoulders and lower back were in dire need of attention. The therapist was great. She worked my shoulders and neck, as well as really loosened up my lower back. The only drawback was that she had to step out of the room a couple of times to answer the door and the phone, but it wasn’t enough to lower the rating. I forgot to get the therapist’s name, but I intend to be back, so will get it on my next visit.

Needed a massage quickly due to migraine and locked up lower back. Did a quick search on Unilocal and found D’s Massage and that it was close by. Drove direct without calling. Arrived to find all massage therapists in sessions. Was told to come back in 20 minutes. I did so and as soon as I arrived I was taken immediately. I initially took a 1 hour session, but 15 minutes into the session the therapist asked if I wanted 90 minutes with free hot stone because I was so tight. I took it and decided it was for the best. My therapist did not speak English or understand it very well, so there was a difficult language barrier to deal with, but I wanted her to use as much pressure as possible, and to go heavy. So that’s what she did. Used her elbows, knees, knuckles and feet. When I flipped I noticed that there were grab bars on the ceiling, which I know is frequently used with different types of asian massages to allow the therapist to hold on while walking and positioning themselves on the client.
When I arrived I had a migraine so bad I was having trouble seeing, and my back was so messed up I could barely walk. When I left, the migraine was gone, she made it disappear. My back, though still semi-​locked up, is much better than before arriving to get the massage. Though I’m not sure the therapist had much training in massage, I don’t care because of the end results and how much looser I feel now.
This is a close drive from my home and I plan on visiting as often as possible. Give this place a try. Its inexpensive (as massage goes) and well worth it. As long as you can deal with a language barrier, you’re ok. Not sure if the other providers are as difficult to speak with through the English language or not, we’ll see over time. I’ll update this review, as well.

Omg this place is a heavenly spot of relaxation on earth! This is my 4^th time coming here and let’s just say if I actually lived here in Northern Virginia I would be a regular! It’s clean and refreshing aroma feels the room.
Just make sure you specify your specific needs and areas you would like to be worked on before hand and don’t be afraid to let them know If you prefer lighter or harder pressure! Awesome place!

I am usually athletic and work long hours so getting a good massage is really important to me. A friend recommended this place to me so I decided to stop by. It was kind of hidden from the street. I came in and was greeted by one of the masseuse who was very friendly and escorted me into one of the massage room. It was clean and felt really cozy. I came for an hour deep tissue massage and I actually got my full hour unlike other places where they subtract 10 min to undress and dress. She started out a little soft for me. I told her she can use more power and she adjusted right away. She was attentive to me and concentrated on my back like I asked. I would definitely come back.

Oh my god. This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I love to treat ourselves, and today we decided to get a massage. Since don’t live in Fiji or Hawaii we weren’t expecting much in the area, but this place changed that thought. I’m very surprised D’s Massage only has 5 reviews, there needs to be more! We decided to check this place out due to the rates, which were undeniably amazing, especially with the kind of service we received.
Like I said we didn’t expect much due to the location being in Virginia, but once you went inside it has a very cute set up and the aroma of the place is so relaxing. Doris and Linda were our masseuses, they were amazing! You can tell Doris knew where to find every nook and cranny that needed attention, I have never felt so relaxed. My boyfriend is an athletic man so he would require a stronger person, which Linda was. He said she might look small but she worked every muscle in his body that needed smoothing out, he felt amazing.
We left D’s Massage so satisfied and relaxed. We can’t wait to go back! I can definitely say we are going to become regulars. So please, if one day you have the need for a massage, go to D’s in Fairfax, it will be worth it. Bring business to this small massage parlor that should become huge and soon! Especially due to the masseuses who work there. Experts!

Seriously the best massages I have ever gotten, and I have tried SO many massage places throughout Northern Virginia… You will NOT be disappointed! This place is the only place where I truly feel relaxed after leaving. Also, the price point is very reasonable. Don’t really know what else I can say but to try it for yourself!

DS spa is nice clean professional place I often go for deep tissue massage and I Recommend to evey one need good therptic massage therapy. With friend staff.

Very clean and professional. Polite massage therapists that can make your whole day or week. Pretty relaxing hour and something I can say I will come back to — and they don’t push out the door when the 60 minutes are up. Call ahead to make an appointment as they sometimes do get busy. Good area that is in a professional office setting. I’ve been to a few other places but would highly recommend this place over others for deep tissue. Haven’t tried any of the hot stone or Swedish massage so can’t speak for or against it.

The BEST massage I ever have had… my massage therapist was tony he is awesome. They are reasonable, clean and professional. I can’t wait to go and I’m taking my husband next time. Love this place!!!

I was in a bad back pain for 2 weeks that affected me from working out/​going to the gym. I went to a different massage place a week ago, didn’t really help until drove by & saw this place. I schedule an appointment for 60 min Swedish massage. The women that massage me did a very good job, I was impressed! For some reason i felt like she was very experienced & knew what she was doing. The place is clean & professional. $ 45.00 for 60 mins, for a first timer? Not bad ! Within 3 hours later, I was no longer in a back pain. I am definitely going back to this place !

Just had a one hour massage here that was probably the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had. They are advertising a $ 45/​hr Swedish Massage but I need deep tissue work and got the $ 60/​hr package. She worked my back and legs terrifically and then brought out the hot stones and worked me over again.
Couldn’t be happier. It’s clean, professional, and a great location. I am certainly returning to this shop.
