Yogurtini

I ordered the vanilla yogurt and it didn’t taste like anything. I thought I was eating plain ice. I heard that its under new ownership and are trying to change the name, but they need to change the yogurt. Yuck!

This is the most inept yogurt place. Take the hot fudge pot away if your staff doesn’t know how to keep it working. Yogurt is always watery. Staff always clueless. And I just threw my yogurt away and left the store after finding a piece plastic in it. Didn’t bother asking for my money back because that would surely have been a mind scramble for the child you have in charge. Thanks for wasting my time.

I went here because I was visiting George Mason University and I was really craving some boba milk tea. There was a sign in the front of the store saying that they had boba and there was a coupon on Unilocal so I figured why not give it a go… well we got there and the two workers looked so confused on what the coupon was and also our orders in general, which was thai tea with boba, pretty simple I thought. Of course, they ran out of boba! I was so sad, but ended up getting the thai tea anyways because I wanted to use up my coupon. The thai tea was so bland and wasn’t even cold. I question whether the workers have ever made milk tea or boba drinks in general… I didn’t try their yogurt so I can’t really say anything about that, but their toppings did not look that good if you’re looking for a yogurt place with yummy toppings. I would not go back here even if I could get another coupon, because it wasn’t worth it in my opinion.

Yogurtini will not tell you the actual ingredients used to make their yogurt, it’s not very tasty and their cake cone is so thin it barely holds up.
Find a better place with integrity to enjoy a yogurt treat. Isn’t it wrong to not disclose ingredients!

I came at like 2:30 today and the two workers we’re so kind and and i felt very welcomed to yogotini and they made my yogurtini experience so much better they made my day and i was so pleased with the service

Since I can no longer enjoy my Founder’s Favorite Love-​it size without serious hangover guilt, finding Yogurtini was a lovely replacement. Many flavors (cheesecake too) and many more toppings. Combinations galore. To top it off– service with a smile! The young lady who helped guide me through the maze, Norah, was patient, helpful and sincerely happy to help. Kudos to the manager/​owner for creating such environment. So if you are tired of guilt-​ridden calories, have some yoghurt! I am definitely going back to create another masterpiece!

I had yogurtini today and the froyo was so delicious and I had the absolute nicest services and greetings from grace and I would recommend this to any body two thumbs up

My family was looking for a frozen yogurt place last night and Unilocaled for something suitable. We found Yogurtini and saw that it was within a mile walk – how perfect! We read through the 13 posted reviews and saw many were positive and we also saw a couple with only one star and comments about bad service by two employees. Two of the bad comments even included photos of the employees and a «#yogurtinimeanies» label but it appears both reviewers were the same person so we immediately discounted one as a duplicate. We decided to give the place a try despite the bad comments. As soon as we walked in, we recognized the two employees behind the counter as the same two in the bad review photos. We filled up a small dish with a variety of yogurt treats and also ordered some bubble tea from the two young employees (keeping in mind the bad comments about them). We found both of them to be very welcoming, cheerful, and eager to help us. They went to work immediately for us and had our bubble tea back by the time my debit card transaction was processed. When we received the bubble tea, my daughter mentioned to me that she forgot to ask for no ice in it. The two employees did not hesitate to help us out by removing the ice and adding a little more tea. I am thinking Kite E. (aka Reinhard E.) from Fort Washinton, MD, needs to return and give this place another try. We had nothing but excellent service and an enjoyable visit! I am going to need to run even more than I normally do because this place/​temptation is too close to resist many future visits.

Went to Yogurtini recently; this was formerly known as Josie’s, where my family and I had always enjoyed good yogurt in an enjoyable store. What a disappointment. The light and family-​like atmosphere that Josie’s had — completely gone. A good example is that when we wanted to sample a couple of flavors, we were told that we could only use ONE sample cup per person. Our child (like many) doesn’t mix flavors well. What a way to discourage business… when we finally made our selection, we checked it out and sat down to enjoy… only to experience mediocre yogurt in a venue that didn’t seem clean, had flies buzzing around (inside!) and had sticky floors. I believe the specific day we came in was Friday July 24^th; the young girl working was not engaged and much more concerned with talking to her friends instead of helping the customers. It was loud and dirty, and my family and I did not feel welcome. A questionable hire on the manager’s part. A very disappointing experience. We will not be back.

Not clean. Has potential but the topping bar isn’t kept clean. There are a ton of loud immature teens in here. Any owner would’ve thrown them out, but there is only one young girl workin the place. Took a few minutes for her to come to the front to ring is up. She has been making a smoothie for about 5 minutes. I wouldn’t return here.

Some yogurt places taste like real yogurt with flavors added. Some taste like water mixed with some kind of synthetic yogurt flavoring. This one leans more to the latter.
Okay selection of toppings though.

Well, if you’re just going to fill your own frozen yogurt cup you should be ok. But if you want these guys to actually make something for you be prepared to wait, and then wait some more. Well, they’ve got wifi.

When I arrived all the employees were in the back hanging out. After waiting I finally was helped and ordered 3 smoothies. 20 more minutes. It wasn’t even busy. Is there only one blender? Finally the smoothies came out with No apologies. They were not worth the time waited or the money spent. Huge chunks of ice were left in each smoothie and the yogurt was not good quality. The employees tonight showed no dedication to good, timely service or presentation.

The frozen yogurt flavors were too sweet for my taste. For me, frozen yogurt should be tangy and not remind me of ice cream at all. So anyway, I ended up not getting frozen yogurt and instead got the «Double Happiness» crêpe with strawberries, banana, almonds, and blueberries. It was delicious! The presentation was amazing and actually looked just like the advertising picture. Matt created it and served it to us. He was very charming and friendly. Even if the frozen yogurt wasn’t the best, the service and the crepes were more than satisfactory. Definitely will come back!

These two hardworking students aren’t the nicest ones in this evening shift, Saturday, april 4, 2015. First, they have this 16 oz. fill all you want for $ 4, great deal right?! But the girl in the cashier doesnt seem to have any idea about the deal. When i asked for her to refill the supply of cups, she seemed pissed (who would be happy to work on a Saturday night when you could be partying right?!). Oh well. we let that pass. She wasn’t nice to begin with (bitchy in laymans term)
So…note that this is not the first time for us to order crêpe her, we’ve tried it before and it was so so we want to order again!
We ordered two kinds of crepes. My daughter ordered double treat and my husband ordered almond/​banana/​strawberry. It took 30 minutes! One came with two scoops of ice cream wrapped in a very hard crêpe thats it!, i made my daughter eat it so that it won’t go to waste. Next crêpe came with banana and almond this time better presentation but the banana they used was unripe! We returned it and told them banana tasted bad. They took it back and just ignored us. Did not even bother to ask us if we want it replaced or what!
Owner is as bad, we talked to her and she didn’t offer to do anything! Even argued with my husband that they will just give us fruit (that should have came with the first order), so we can have it (really?!After my daughter ate the whole thing!). We go to this place all the time! This is the first time this happened! These two girls doesnt seem to have any idea what they were doing! We did try to cut them some slack but by them ignoring us is what ticked us off! Would you treat yourself like that if you were the customer? Worst customer service ever! You should train these kids more miss manager! This is just unacceptable!
1 star for the effort! Maybe next time they should just admit that they dont know how to make the crepes and not take orders for them instead of pretending to know how to!

Have not tried the yogurt but THE CREPES ARE PERFECT! worth it! The place is modern and very clean

I was glad to see University Mall with new frozen yogurt. The store is clean with friendly staffs.
Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be coming back for their yogurt, flavors or the toppings.
The texture and flavors are more icy and sour side. The toppings were in lack of nuts, cake/​cookie types. The fruits didn’t seem so appetizing (bad day?)

Creamy yogurt, good assortment of toppings, and a 10% military discount! Friendly service and a spotlessly clean shop make this my new go to for yogurt.

I had Yogurtini for the first time last night; the owner had donated to a friend’s media night. I had the cake batter with strawberries and sprinkles and it was amazing! Can’t wait to check out the Fairfax location soon.

Yogurtini is a new self serve froyo shop in University Mall. It is clean and well run though a little hard to get to given the construction in the shopping center. The store was nice with the usual assortment of 8 – 10 froyo selections and toppings. I had the Irish mint which I mixed with chocolate chips ala mint chocolate chip and, because I am a purist, the chocolate vanilla swirl. The feature the usual array of toppings and the weigh station at the cashier station.
Yogurtini was a nice shop but no features to differentiate it from any other froyo store. I will go back if I’m in the area but it’s not worth a special trip.
