Ammo Depot of Fairfield is good business with good staff. Selection is reasonable. They have ar15 magpul parts, gun magazines, holsters, targets, gun cases, and bulk ammo. The staff is friendly which is a great plus. I’m happy with my experiences every time I visit.

We decided to check out Ammo Depot because of its huge sign that you can’t miss while driving on I-80 lol. My wife and I have been into lots of gun shops in the Bay Area in recent weeks. This is definitely the most friendliest one by far! Before our interest in guns we had read online and came across a lot of people saying most gun shop staff/owners are real jackasses. I agree! A lot of the shops we had walked into the staff was just that; JERKS. But this store proved that wrong. They were very friendly and after doing some math, they had the best price on Ammo in bulk. I’ll definitely be buying my ammo here from now on. The store is small but very neat, clean and pretty we’ll organized. They had a large selection in Ammo.

Sale on ammo’s was what got my attention and the reason why I walked into this shop. I was surprised at how helpful and informative these men were, especially me being a woman, they were really friendly and I didn’t get a vibe of snobbery or unfriendliness that some gun shops have. I will definitely look here before I look anywhere else. I liked the friendly atmosphere in this shop and will continue to spread the word. Thank you Ammo Depot guys for your friendly service.

I stopped in the other day to check the store out. I was the only customer in the store so they were not busy. The two workers just watched me from behind the counter. I was not greeted. After a few minutes of looking around the shop, and feeling very awkward and unwelcomed I made my way to the door and left.

Went there for the first time today and they had plenty of ammo to choose from. Raymond was very helpful and knowledgable about ammo for my Smith & Wesson M&P. A box of 9 mm ammo runs about $ 20. I am satisfied with my first visit!

I stopped in here again yesterday on my lunch break and I was even more impressed this time than I was before. When I walk into gun shops, I usually know right away whether the shop is going to treat me differently because I’m a girl.(I don’t like to pull the«it’s because I’m a girl» card, but realistically its been a problem for me in places like gun shops or automotive places in the past. Unfortunate, but true.) The three guys working at Ammo Depot greeted me right away and were friendly, willing to talk to me, and knew when to just let me browse. I felt like I could have been talking to my own husband — that was how comfortable they made me feel. When I asked about local ranges, they were able to answer right away. They have a good ammo selection and prices are basically what they are everywhere. Their selection of other items grows every time I come into this place, which is awesome! They have the Zombie Industries life size zombie targets — if you haven’t fired at one before, they are so fun! I was excited to see they had a couple, since I haven’t yet seen them anywhere else(other than online). I’ll continue coming here — thank you for the excellent customer service!

Love this place! Great customer service, friendly, helpful, and easy going. The instructor here is great he explained everything very thoroughly and was patient. The ammo, targets, and accessories are inexpensive compared to the shooting range. I really like this store.

Stopped in this place to grab some 9 mm on the way to Sacramento. All I can say is wow. When a local establishment price gouges customers along with alot of other suppliers you know what happens? When the ammo«freak out» shortage ends, people don’t return to places that take advantage of customers. Guy in ball cap behind the counter needs a course in customer service skills because he didnt have ANY. I could understand if it was busy or something but there were four people total in the store. Won’t ever be back.

They had ammo!!! A rarity these days. The gentleman helping me was very pleasant. He was able to figure out some oddities with old ammo I had.

Empty shelves… I know the whole«ammo shortage» thing that’s going around, but half of the shelves were empty, and they’re only displays. the staff was knowledgeable, but I’ll continue to buy my stuff at Cabela’s.

Expensive! Maybe it’s because I never bought ammo, I get them from my department. When I enter the store, it reminded me of the old«Consumers Distributors» where they have samples on displays, merchandise in the back and open space in throughout the store. Oh did I mention they have Zombie targets? Awesome! LOL

It’s really hard to miss the giant sign from Interstate 80 heading toward Sacramento beckoning you to visit. The store is neat and well-organized. In addition to ammo, they carry basic shooting gear(eye/ear protection, range bags, etc.) as well as cool targets and basic reloading supplies. The staff is friendly and courteous. They know their ammo, of which there is a tremendous selection in a variety of calibers. I usually stop by every two or three weeks to pick up some bulk ammo for the range and a box of hollow points for home defense. Prices are reasonable. It’s nice to have another source for ammunition in Solano County.

Great to have another source of ammunition! + Friendly service + Prices(for brick and mortar store) + One more source for ammunition in the SF Bay Area I was driving by and saw the big Ammo Depot sign a few stores over from the Harbor Freight tool store I go to when I’m in Fairfield and had to stop by. There was one gentleman working the front so I had to wait a little for service, but it wasn’t long. He seemed pretty knowledgeable about his ammo. I picked up some ammo. Prices seemed pretty fair, especially for supporting a brick and mortar store.
