These prices are absolutely ludicrous. I didn’t believe the others when i heard it was that much for a rice ball, so I went in myself and was completely flabbergasted. These prices are insane. Not to mention, they dont have their hours posted anywhere on the store, so you cant know when they open or close. Prices are way too high. I need affordable rice balls in my life.

Went here on a tip from a friend and was very disappointed. This place was awful, the food was insanely over priced. 7 $ for a rice ball are u kidding me.

I have gone here a few times and I was satisfied or I would not be going back. However the last time I was there I ordered a Calzone and when I got home the calzone was burned and when you opened it up nearly empty. It turned out the item was not edible and I contacted them through a Unilocal email with no response. Everyone makes mistakes but when you don’t rectify them then that is a problem.

So reading the reviews, I am not going to give this place a worse review, because I have not tried the whole menu, me loving subs, heroes, sandwiches… if my review were based just on the quality of the Turkey sub/hero I just had I would give it a one star if that. This is mainly because it had no flavor, and it was covered in oil(so much I basically had very moisturized hands after just a couple of bites). Not only that but before I could even lift the sub out of its tin foil wrapper it fell apart which to me is a sign of a low quality bread and whoever is making the sandwiches should not be doing it any more. I was beyond disgusted in the quality and mess of this sub/hero. I am however going to give this place another try, based on the rest of the reviews, but based on my first impression of this sub, there are much better and money worth subs, heroes, and sandwiches in the area and I would not ever purchase a sub from this restaurant again. As for staff they are very friendly and welcoming, so that alone would be reason enough for me to consider going back, and the restaurant itself is very clean and has good upkeep, but based on the quality of the food I just had for take out as of now this is my honest review as far as the subs go.

Upon walking into this restaurant, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. The menu is extensive with your typical offerings of jumbo slices, burgers, hot dogs, hot and cold sandwiches and of course desserts. I tried one of their«Fantastic Friday» lunch specials, the Boom Boom burger with your typical choices of bacon(thick cut and the perfect crunchiness) lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mayo, ketchup plus your choice of cheese(American, Provolone, Mozzarella or Swiss). Fries are also included, which were thick, seasoned and had that tasty crispiness that kept me wanting more! I also ordered an order of fried Oreos and fried Zeppolis. The oreos(4 to an order) were delicious and came with a chocolate dipping sauce. The zeppolis(8 to an order) were okay, not worth the reorder though. I would definately recommend and I will be back!

Five stars because I cannot find Chicago deep dish pizza anywhere, and this place does it right! I will daydream about this pizza, great owner too.

This place is a joke. Ordered a personal pizza with onions — placed over the phone. Told 20 minute wait. Went there after 20 minutes & they still didn’t make it. Kids hanging around behind the counter, no one could give me an answer as to why my order wasn’t ready. This not the first time these idiots have screwed up my order. Goodbye Boardwalk Pizzeria — I am taking my business somewhere else.

First time ordering from Boardwalk. Ordered for delivery, 2 slices plain and one cheesesteak and an app. Got a call a few min later saying they had no plain slices. I checked and it was over an hour before closing… no plain slices at a pizza joint?!? Make a pie and cut it for your customer!!! Got a second call 5 min later saying there was no cheesesteak. Got whatever they had available. Delivery was quick but slices were stone cold upon arrival… not even warm like they didn’t heat them before delivery. I’ve gotta say I’m really disappointed and will not be ordering again with no regard to how good the food is or is not. A shame as it might have been good.

Stumbled on this place visiting friends. Got two slices and they were both amazing I tried a grandma and a fried cheese. Wow. Never had anything like it really huge too. Only negative way overpriced I mean I’m willing to pay for good stuff but for three people to get slices and a few water bottles over $ 30 is a bit much. Whatever it’s good

One word of advice for anyone who goes here, if you plan to order the deep dish pizza, bring friends… I wish I had the chance to take a picture of the behemoth. This pizza literally weighs ten pounds, most of the weight comes from the outrageous amount of cheese on it. This is definitely not somewhere I eat from often, but every once in a while you need to consume a weeks worth of saturated fat for lunch. If it happens to be one of those occasions, Boardwalk pizza is a fine choice to do so. Their normal pizza is okay, where they shine is the heart stopping Chicago deep dish, order one and have heartburn medication nearby, you’ll need it.

This place is crazy good. Never got something there I didn’t like! Just got a buffalo chicken salad and I can’t believe how much chicken is on the thing… awesome! 2 other things I’ve noticed that really put this place above the rest is the service and cleanliness. There’s a guy there who I think is a manager/owner who is so helpful and friendly. Plus the place is always spotless. That means a lot! Really cool décor on the walls too of old timey Jersey Shore. Great place!

Boardwalk pizza really tries making you feel like you’re at the boardwalk with their décor and menu. They provide nearly everything you would want at the boardwalk except for the ocean breeze. Their pizzas are abundant and it’s great that they’re willing to sell you a slice or a whole pie. Their 18″ pies are monstrous and good. An additional good thing they have here is the deep dish option in case you feel like imitating a Midwestern Chicago man/woman. Regardless of what you chooose here, you’ll be sufficiently full and will lifely have leftovers.

Today was my 6th visit to Boardwalk Pizza. To say that I’m a fan is an understatement. I have ordered something different every time, and have been impressed every visit. We get the daily specials faxed to our office and once I read it at 10am I’m hungry for lunch and can’t wait to head over. The service, the employees are just as fantastic as the food. I have only experienced great people who seem to be very happy with their work environment. This is my favorite lunch spot if that doesn’t come across :)

I have been here a couple times before with my dad. The first time we had the food, we were floored. The pizza was awesome. The second time we went it was also great. The third time was just ok. We thought it was us, but it wasn’t. Different crust or cheese or something. The fourth time we went was not as good as the previous visits to Boardwalk. I went in there wanting chicken fingers. I was seriously shocked that a pizza place, especially a place calling itself boardwalk did not have chicken fingers! They had chicken fries, but if I wanted them, I could go to Burger King. Overall, I was very disappointed that they did not have chicken fingers and don’t think we are in any rush to return soon.

I wanted to try this place sounds it opened & I had hoped I’d like it. The service was friendly. I ordered the 2 piece fried chicken & my husband & son had pizza. They said the pizza was ok. It took almost 30 minutes to cook the chicken, was disappointed by how small the pieces were but it did taste good but nothing special, Popeyes is better. I’m sorry but I don’t think we will be back.

Boardwalk pizza went above and beyond to be a cozy, fun, unique spot to get some great boardwalk food with out traveling down the parkway. Décor is totally legit, I spent about thirty minutes starring at the giant old boardwalk photos from the 1920’s trying to figure out what life used to be like a century ago @ the jersey shore. We had a 24 inch pizza that was absolutely perfect. Crust was firm but thin and crisp, sauce was sweet and the cheese was perfect. Totally awesome HUGE pizza! French fries, Zeppoles and the greek salad were also off the chain. As far I was expecting a generic lame greek salad when I ordered it but what came out had radishes, a homemade vinaigrette, awesome olives and nice salty feta cheese. It was totally awesome. The service was so above average and super friendly. I met the owner who was a genuine person who has put together a really awesome restaurant. We will definitely come back

Tried this place ‘just for the hell of it’… what caught my eye on their menu was the fried cheese crust pan pizza. I pondered this possibly epic creation, thinking how many things could go wrong with it. Cheap cheese would make it inedible, bad sauce would make it tasteless… I really figured I should try something else first. But being a glutton with little self control in these situations, my eyes kept going back to the description, with the ‘carmelized fried cheese crust’, and I caved an ordered it. I’m glad I did! It was one of the best new things I’ve had in a long time! Not overly greasy, especially for something with fried cheese baked into it. The crust underneath was thick(expected as this was a pan pizza) but it was light and airy. The cheese was high quality, and the sauce was very tasty. I could barely eat two slices, each one weighed like a pound and a half. Just a warning, you have to like A LOT of cheese on your pizza to enjoy this. I’ve seen complaints on here about the service, but everyone I talked to couldn’t have been nicer. The pizza guy brought this out from behind the counter himself, and told me to keep it as level as possible because it just came out of the oven. Kids behind the counter were neither overly friendly or rude, just went about their jobs. I will be adding this joint to my pizzeria rotation! One note, if you pick your order up, and the gym that they share the building with has a class parking can be tricky. There was a womens class of some sort going on(I could see the prancing princesses through the glass door), and the lot on the side was filled with various models of Mercedes, BMW’s, and Lexus’ all parked in various miserable, a-hole ways, which pretty much took up three spots for every two cars. ”

Got delivery from here twice in one week it was so good! BBQ chicken pizza is awesome! They use smoked chicken and the bbq sauce has a little kick but not overly spicy. We also had the plain cheese pie which was above average. The menu seems pretty basic, pizza, rolls, sandwiches, and salads. No entrees.
