Costco Vision Center

I went in for an eye exam and glasses. The eye exam went fine, they took my insurance, and I was on my way. Then the trouble began… When I went to get the glasses, these people were a mess. Unorganized and frazzled, only 2 customers and three workers, yet they didn’t know what end was up.
«Jose» could give two craps if I was there or not. The first attempt of getting glasses, he was rude, he was looking in the system for my acct, yet couldn’t find it, I told him the optometrist left my prescription up there, in paper form. He said one second, one second, over and over, wouldn’t listen to me, wouldn’t acknowledge I was telling him something. it was almost as if he felt that since I was a woman, I do not need to be listened to. It was blatant, and rude. After a while of him bumping around into nothingness, I just said I’ll go somewhere else. He said Ok bye. that was it. LOL no attempts as customer service, nothing.
The second time I went there I tried to deal with the lady on shift, and I did, and it was going fine, but then, for some reason, Jose decided he should butt in when he wasn’t even asked for help. He is crap, his customer service skills are atrocious. I will never bother with Costco again for any of my vision needs. WAY more trouble than its worth.

I came here for my eye exam and new glasses. Dr. Nguyen was very professional and knowledgeable. She explained to me in detail of what’s going on with my eyes, what I should do to prevent from getting worse and on. This is the kind of doctor visit that I enjoy coming. She educated me so well. After the examination, she helps me pick out my eye glasses. Again, she took the time to explain. Very kind doctor.

I was in desperate need of contacts and when I say desperate I aint joking around. I called Costco, seeing as Visison, Dental, and Medical is difficult to get through any job these days, they set me up for an appointment that same week, matter of a fact it was only two days away.
Dr. Nguyen was so nice and she even knew exactly I needed in order to see better and everything. Mind you the entire appointment only took about 30 – 45 mins all together. I even got to walk out without my ugly glasses on, she gave me a pair of contacts to wear that helped me to see so much better.
Oh yeah and the prices are not that bad either, $ 89 paid for my contact eye exam and for next weeks appointment. Very reasonable!

My daughter needed to have her contact prescription filled — You know America these days — You can’t get a full time job with medical and vision, finding Bin Ladin would be easier (if you’re CNN that is). So the visit for her is out of her pocket and of course mom’s and pop’s to the rescue. BUT — Still on a budget.
Made an appointment with Dr. Nguyen and she was very nice. The prices are super reasonable! $ 89 later and we paid for the visit and a follow-​up and got a pair of contacts to boot!
We checked out their frames while we were there. They had some frames that were really nice looking. Designer frames for less than $ 100 — imagine that! And the frames exam is $ 49 — dialtion $ 30.
The prices seemed amazing to me.
