Dr. Kelly Lee is an excellent optometrist who took the time to explain all aspects of eye care and all options for the best vision correction for me. She not only tested for my ability to see the test characters, but also thoroughly examined my eyes. She noticed that I had scarring inside my left eye which was caused by a vein occlusion (bleeding vein inside the eye) and had to be repaired with laser surgery. Dr. Lee took this condition into consideration and made adjustments to the lens prescription accordingly. I’m very pleased and impressed with her thoroughness and knowledge.

I’m thrilled that Dr Kelly Lee is now in the Bay Area. She first examined me in Los Angeles and is one of the best optometrist I’ve ever had. She’s one of the few doctors that even makes mono contact lenses — one lens for reading, and for the dominant eye, a lens for distance. I’ve been very pleased with the progressive eyeglasses she made – it was done correctly the first time – unlike some other optometrists I’ve have had. Kelly Lee, OD is very skilled, professional and versatile. I am so glad to have found such an excellent optometrist.

At first I was very hesitant of picking Sears for my optical needs. I have had so many bad experiences in the past with others. My reason for switching practices often was to hopefully one day find one to my standards. If I have not chosen Sears, I wouldn’t have met Dr. Michael Matthews. He is the key factor of rating this establishment five stars.
Dr. Michael Matthews is the optometrist who jointly works with Sears Optical. He is very detailed and patient. I have walked out of there learning a few things about eye health. He answered all of my questions and concerns as well as recommended a few products I have never heard of. Simply amazing!
I personally vouch for Dr. Michael Matthews. I have never met any better optometrist in my life. The optical industry needs more professionals like him. I can’t say too much of Sears optical sales team, but so far they have been great.
