Rory is a fast and great bartender. He has all kind of different drinks that have a funny name but taste great and get to where you’re feeling no pain. If I want to go have a good time or just have a beer I’ll hit dings

Small place. Great cold drinks. Lots of fireball mixes. Great place to socialize and enjoy music and sports. I love the energy in this spot. Lots of locals and police always camping out. Be careful when drinking. Have a chaperone if you can. This is a local pub. Pool tables. Jukebox with lots of good music. Bartender is on it. Snacks available. Close to the fwy and food spots. A walk from downtown and other taverns if you feel like hopping. This place is very small. Limited seating. Parking is in the back in the dark. More stars if they remodel the place to todays standards of bars. Still nice for locals and a few games a year.

Ok, so I wouldn’t go walkin into Dings by myself. They recently went and got a shiny new re-​model. So, don’t go trying to enter through the back door anymore — it’s closed and now part of the extended bar. It’s a bit brighter and lighter, but it’s basically the same ol’ Dings. Cute bartender (even though he’s an A’s fan) and full of characters… and, it’s pretty much the only «decent» place in the area to get your crunk on.

Pro: Karaōke; dress code is about what NOT to wear (no wife beaters /​white t-​shirts, no caps, do-​rags); very friendly staff and patrons (cute bartender); not a large liquor selection, but they have the good basics; Jukebox of oldies; Heineken & Widmer Hef. on tap ($ 3.50); mixed drinks not weak, not strong: just right; about 5 TVs playing cable movie channels
Con: 3 out of the 5 beers on tap are Bud, Bud Light & Coors Light; small mixed drink glasses, so their Beefeater Gin & Tonic + White Russian = $ 9.75 is not as good of a deal compared to the $ 9 version of the same combo you can get a few blocks away at Harry’s with their larger glasses; well Vodka not as good as some others;
