Donut Wheel

This is long overdue. In 2013, a guy with long hair welcomed us in. He asked what my friend and I were up to and I said we were just running errands and I just got my license. I ordered donut holes and he gave me extra and we had a great talk with him. The he words he spoke motivate me till this day. Thank you.

Donut Wheel is the best donut shop in Fairfield with great prices, delicious donuts, and good customer service.
If you really want super fresh donuts, show up right after they open, 5 or 6am I believe. Their morning rush starts around 7am. A lot of high school students from Fairfield High stop by here on their way to school.
Donut Wheel has tons of different donuts available. Maple bars to traditional cake to jelly to sugar to glazed twists. My favorites are the cake donuts with chocolate frosting and sprinkles, sugar, and glazed. Their cake donuts are never super dense, the sugar donuts are light and airy, and the glazed are sweet but not overpoweringly sweet. A dozen donuts here costs under $ 10 and often times they’ll throw in a couple extra for free!
The people who work here were friendly and helpful when I asked what a certain donut was. They didn’t get impatient when I was being a bit indecisive.
I’ll never go back to Jelly Donut or the Safeway bakery for my donuts. The prices and quality of the donuts will keep me returning!

Just moved to town and found this place last month. The donuts are amazing I love the strawberry cream pastry they have they are so yummy! And the people who own/​run it its a family always make you feel welcome! By far the best donuts

Dan is definitely the man! He hooked me up for some nostalgic donuts called Packzi for Mardi Gras today. I’m from Chicago, and surrounded by so many good ethnic food for every occasion. These donuts are a staple to the million Polish families back home that have this specifically for Fat Tuesday. He was willing to work with my ideas and had an awesome attitude. I highly recommend getting your sweet treats from Donut Wheel. Dan and his entire team are so friendly with all their customers and able to make any wish come true. Thanks Dan! Will be visiting you often!

Highly disappointing. Don’t always eat donuts but decided to treat myself this morning. Got an almond pastry and 6 donut holes. Man working the counter told me the pastry wasn’t fresh and asked if I wanted him to microwave it. The donut holes were dry and hard. I was better off going to a grocery store, at least they’re fresh… I’ll stick with Jelly Donut next time.

Went in this morning, no one was there so I thought great!!! Well the lady didn’t even noticed I walked in and kept reading the paper, once I got her attention I asked to get a dozen. Once I started picking out the donuts I wanted she kept putting more of the same kind and ones I didn’t want. I figured no big deal since it was for a meeting and not myself. Well come to find out from numerous people they tasted stale and not good at all.
I remember going here when they were in their old location and never had an issue, guess I just hit it on a bad day.

12 donut holes for a $ 1, count me in!
I’ve been going to this donut chain since it was at it’s old location. It’s a tradition in my family. Every Sunday we would go and eat our brains out with donuts. Then we all moved and now the tradition has gone kaput, but I still make my way over there once a month for those donut holes.
Wait, did I say donut holes? I mean donut frisbees, donut discs, donut mini footballs. They are HUGE and melt in your mouth fabulous!

Get the original GLAZED… It’s perfect, and I consider myself a donut expert (lawl). SOFT, WARM, SLIGHTLY CRISPY, Fresh, melts, vanilla-​y, and not too doughy! …oh yessssss. WOW I will have to buy a dozen next time! :)

I like this donut shop because it is open later than most others in the area. I got a sprinkled donut, just like I would at any other donut shop, and it was pretty good! I look forward to going back!

They are a bit pricey when it comes to buying a dozen donuts; however, they offer a wider selection than Sunset donuts. The donuts are pretty big and effing delicious!!!

Had today for first time, loved it!
Had a mixed dozen and a dozen donut holes.
Donut holes only 99cent for a dozen.
I will be returning, recommended!

Have you ever gotten that late night snack attack or that breakfast for dinner mood swing?
For me it was a definitely a donut call! It was past eight in the evening and for some reason I craved for a donut. Luckily on the way home I spotted Donut Wheel.
When I pulled in the lights were on but the place looked empty. I was afraid that they maybe closed for the day. I tugged on the door and yes they were open! I quickly made my way to the counter and drooled. A few seconds later I asked for a couple of custard filled maple donuts and four glazed to go.
They offered a variety of donuts and the layout of this place looked like a fast food chain with ample table seating. Good and friendly service.
When we got home I killed the yummy maple donuts.
I got my fix baby…
